I've been trying to eat here for a while and finally made it over for lunch. I ordered three tacos (2 is plenty, by the way, for lunch!): the Demon, the 96, and the Robins. The 96 and Robins were amazing! Very flavorful! I wasn't as impressed with the Demon. Personally I wish it had more flavor, it was a little flat. Good place for a quick bite to eat. Small inside but clean. The menu was easy to look over and all the tacos looked very appetizing. I ordered the nachos which were HUGE! The nachos were decent I probably wouldn't order again the guacamole had an off flavor and the cheese went all to the bottom of the plate. My husband and I had the Watson and the McConnell and they were good! The young lady who took our order was very sweet but it seemed every other employee didn't want to be there. Looked at menu on Yelp and hubby got here early to order since we have heard it gets busy at lunch, not a big deal until he was told they weren't serving bowls today (wanted fiesta bowl). This was okay food..but I don't think I'll be back again. First off, if you are looking for Mexican food this is not the place to go. This place has tortillas, but that is about where the similarities stop. The combinations were great and the selection was excellent. I could tell fresh ingredients were important to them. However the food was cold by the time I received it. I asked for corn and received flour tortillas, they were not warmed prior to putting the ingredients on them. This would have helped. Also, 3.50 to 4 bucks for a six inches taco is steep. A lunch special with two tacos and some chips and salsa and a drink for 10 bucks would be great. Finally, too much cilantro and onion in the salsa. Ad a little more vinegar to temper the taste, and it would have been perfect. This place has great potential with it's fresh ingredients. We had the Carl Vinson steak taco, don't worry about salsa, it is seasoned perfectly. The steak melts in your mouth. Get spicy cheese queso for your chips, it's worth it. Pulling up to the restaurant it was a welcoming building and the entrance is on the side. The decorations in the restaurant were put together well, and the atmosphere was relaxed. They had their menu stapled to the wall, this was interesting but nice to be able to see what the tacos looked like and get the list of ingredients. It was also a convenience in case you couldn't see the menu above the cashier you can see the menu on the wall while in line. Ordering was very easy and they had a good special which included any 2 tacos, a drink, and either salsa or queso with chips! I got the Demon and Carl Vinson. I loved the Carl Vinson, the Demon was too spicy for me with the jalapeño garlic sauce(I totally missed reading that ingredient!). The chips are seasoned, I'm not sure with what, but they were good. The salsa was better than the queso for me. The white queso was very bland. Overall it was a good restaurant for the cost, although not the best taco place I've been. I would recommend coming by to grab a quick lunch!! And maybe trying their breakfast burritos. read more

I stopped in for a quick dinner and got the 2 taco, chips and salsa and drink special. The tacos I chose were the Demon and Shipwreck on flour tortillas. The chips came out first and they were ok, lightly seasoned, nothing special. I like mine really light and thin and fresh from the fryer. I wondered if these were fresh or from a giant bag. I look up and I can see the guy actually making them in the back, so they are made fresh in the kitchen. For me, if they could make them thin and light, fresh from the fryer with a lot more seasoning they would have a winner here. The two tacos came out next. They looked good, but... they were a lot smaller than I expected for the price. I was expecting at least a 10" flour tortilla. These appeared to be the same Old El Paso tortillas you get at Kroger. The taco filling; however, looked really good and there is so much that you can't roll it up and eat it. I eat some of the steak from the demon and it is very good, not over cooked, seasoned well and tender. Now I am able to roll it up and eat it. The Old El Paso Tortilla dominates. It is thick, dusty and just too much flour. What I was really hoping for was a big, thin, handmade tortilla that was toasted over an open flame, or at least warmed on the grill or in an oven. If any of you were around Warner Robins back in the mid 2000s, there was a place on Watson in what is now Cookout, across from Sonic, call Rico Mex. That was the best Mexican food this town ever had and what I was kinda hoping I would find in the Taco Shed. Overall, the food I had here is better than the average Mexican food you will find in this town and I plan to go back so I can have a breakfast burrito. Warner Robins is really hard on non-franchise restaurants. I wish these guys lots of luck. read more

My favorite restaurant in town. I'm not sure Warner Robins deserves a place this fresh, creative, delicious, and 100% geared to the local community. Along with unique tacos, cold beer, and the best churros in Georgia, the staff is super friendly and efficient, and the owner, who did the build-out himself, is always there with a smile, a fist-bump, and an eye on the details. I absolutely love this place. The tacos are delicious. You must try the Watson"- Philly cheese steak w/onions, peppers, mushrooms, Swiss cheese and chipotle aioli sauce. The "Perry Pkwy" - Fried shrimp w/romaine lettuce, queso fresco, peach purée, diced peaches with tomatillo salsa on the side, is another favorite of mine. This place stays busy but they are really on top of things and will have you in and out in no time. Great staff! read more

Fast service- definitely a plus. However, prices do not reflect the value of the food/flavor. The fried mahi mahi taco was definitely a waste of money. Not only did it not work well with the pickles, the fish itself was lacking flavor. Steak tacos were good with guacamole, hence the stars, but husband did not enjoy it. I ate here for a quick dinner last night. I had three tacos on the 3 different kinds of tortillas they offer (flour, corn, and "wheat"). The tortillas all looked and tasted the same and were not warm when I received them. The fillings were generous, but almost everything was over salted and the seasonings were not perfect. This place is better than most of the generic Mexican restaurants in town but not as good as other newer taco joints around. Every time I'm in Warner Robins The Taco Shed is the first place I go to eat. They have great tacos and salsa. I get the daily special which is 2 tacos, chips and salsa and a drink for $10. This time I got the I-75 (smoked brisket) and the International City (blackened chicken). The tacos are served on 1 flour, 1 wheat or 2 corn tortillas. Both tacos and the chips and salsa were great.
