I've had many taco's at many places, and this place is a gem!!! Plenty of parking in a private lot... Clean facilities & bathroom! Several large screen TV's, and excellent customer service!!! It's near the Air Force base, and taco lovers should really try them... Especially if you lived on the west coast! The food: the chips are nicely seasoned, the guacamole has a great taste of lime, and the salsa was perfect! The tacos: I tried the Davis Dr. (good), the Demon (okay), and 2 of the shrimp tacos (absolutely amazing). I forgot the name of one of the shrimp tacos, but the ship was taste bud explosion!!! Wish I could have one again today... You get the choice of 3 different tortillas: flour, corn, or wheat! They also have dine-in salads with romaine lettuce!!! They offer cold beers, but no gluten free options... Plenty of space and a great play to eat tacos, drink a beer, and enjoy a game with friends! Taco Shed is most excellent! Passing by this building daily during drive to and from work for years, I have seen it change from a casual seafood restaurant, on to less successful food ventures. However let me just say that The Taco Shed is Here to Stay! I figured I had better try the place out, since the continual number of cars in the parking lot indicated to me that this place has continued popularity since opening. Entrance: Need more signs! Since I was coming from the South, I whipped off the road and right into the parking in front of the building, only to find the front door locked. I thought for a moment they were closed, but there were plenty of cars there. I walked to the left side of the building and saw someone go into a door on the back left side of the building. This is the entrance, which is confusing if you park in the front parking lot. So park on the left side of the building, where you notice a sign pointing to the side door. (Sign cannot be seen from front parking lot and there is no sign on the locked front door) Glad I found the entrance as the choice of Tacos was amazing! And my choices were so delicious!!! Each Taco on the extensive menu was named after a Warner Robins street, school, school team, or landmark, which was most unique. (see pictures). They have a choice of 2 tacos special during certain times. One taco will fill up most people! These are gourmet tacos, filled with all sort of choices from chicken, steak, pork, seafood, veggie...... Amazing selections. Chips were good as well. Absolutely cannot say enough about the JSTARS tacos. Seriously addicting. We tried one just to see if it was any good, and now it's an indispensable part of our order - we ALWAYS order a couple JSTARS and some chips and queso. So tasty! Overpriced and unimpressive. The atmosphere is unique and laid back, but the food is really what you are coming here for. The tacos run about $4 each, and were nothing to write home about. While two tacos will satisfy you, you would probably need three for an entire meal. I tried 3 different tacos and the flavor was just slightly off-putting, maybe an attempt to put too many spices and sauces in the tacos, not sure. Don't let the outside fool you ! The inside is hip and happenin' and has an extensive creative selection of tacos. I only gave it a 4 star because I ordered the Shipwreck Shrimp Taco. Being from the coast , it's hard to compete with fresh seafood. My husband I also ordered, The Demon , Hwy 41 and the Fromm-inator. The combination of ingredients and sauces were delicious. I really like The Taco Shed and hope that they stay open for a while. If you're looking for authentically Mexican tacos, skip the Shed and go to Tacos and More, but if you want "gourmet", Americanized tacos, this is your place. Yes, they are a bit expensive but they really do load up the tortillas with fillings. I'm partial to any of the chicken tacos, but the fish tacos are also pretty good. I love the guacamole here as well - I prefer mine a bit chunkier instead of smooth, but they put a good bit of lime in it, which more than makes up for the texture. Also, they have EXCELLENT breakfast burritos. Unfortunately for my waistline, I drive by here every day on the way to work and it is not uncommon for me to stop and get a burrito. They offer four kinds (grilled chicken, bacon, sausage, and chorizo) and the grilled chicken without hash browns is what I always opt for. Great location and great food. read more

I was here last Friday. After a two hour visit at the WR Museum of Flight, about 2 PM, I was very hungry and ask asked the two guys in the Museum's gift shop for a lunch recommendation. Both recommended the super convenient, close Taco Shed. Go back out the main entrance to the Museum, make a left on the fronting highway, then another quick left off this highway into The Taco Shed. Just make sure to park on the left side of the building! (They keep the main "Enter" door out front locked--robbery prevention?) So you enter through the side door. It's a little dark as you pass through the back room into the front to order. Get the lunch special of two tacos, chips and salsa, and a drink for $10.25 plus tax. I got two overstuffed shrimp tacos, and enjoyed them both immensely. The chips and salsa were good also, very fresh. There's a wide variety of choices of tacos. It was a delightful find, and I'll stop again with a future Museum visit! (Much better than a Mickey D's lunch visit!) read more

I would give this place 4 stars, but there were a couple things I wasn't a fan of. I tried the dirty bird, 247, Carl Vinson, and the watson. The Watson was my favorite with a smoky and delicious sauce on top of steak, cheese, peppers, and onions. The Carl Vinson was good as well the steak was tender and well seasoned. The 247 was a disappointment it was extremely bland. I expected so much more based off the description, but I got a flavorless taco instead. I did like the dirty bird it was very creative with pineapple and blackened chicken, great flavor combination. The chips and salsa weren't great either. I got the spicy cheese dip and it wasn't spicy and also wasn't traditional queso. Tasted more like cheddar cheese than queso. Overall I would come back just wouldn't waste my money on the items that I wasn't fond of. read more

Served on soft four tortillas piled high with filling. The shell holds up pretty good considering how full they are. Very messy as the juice ran down my arm I had a cilantro lime taco and my husband the southwest chicken. Both were okay, nothing great or full of flavor. They do not have crunchy tacos which I think is a shame for if you are going to specialize in tacos, give a choice of shells. People were nice enough but not friendly or full of smiles. They close at 2 so maybe they were all just ready to Go home. We also had the cheese dip and it was served hot and yummy. This is taco fusion on its A game. I'm used to traditional Mexican tacos but The Taco Shed offers delightful, Southern riffs on the classic. Combinations of fillings atop charred tortillas make for a tasty, filling lunch. On this occasion I tried the I-75 ($3.95, bbq pulled pork + onions + pineapples + cojita cheese + cilantro) and the Demon ($4.75, spicy pork + jalapeño + mixed cheeses + tomatoes). Delicious!
