My recommendations: Get the horchata, chips and salsa, and the beans. The staff and service were great. There's plenty of seating including the indoor/bar area, and outdoor seating. It has a good, casual vibe. We ordered the chips and salsa which came with two types of salsa; a green and red one. Both salsas had a little kick to them, but not overly spicy. For our main entrees, we ordered the tacos al carbon. It's 3 tacos with your choice of meat (steak, steak diablo, pastor, carnitas, and chicken), one side, and some chips. I ordered 3 steak tacos and beans as my side. The beans were flavorful and the perfect portion. The tacos were filling; I only ate one and took two home for later, but could've been that I was already full off of the chips and salsa :) The horchata was one of my favorite parts of the meal. It's so good! I'd go there just for the horchata. I wish they had other aquas frescas, but the horchata alone is worth the visit. They also have a variety of Jarritos and bottled sodas like Mexican Coca Cola so plenty of drink options. I'll need to come back to try out their margs and other alcoholic drinks. We also got the churros to go. It came with 4 churros, caramel sauce, and a scoop of ice cream. The churros are served warm and go perfectly with the creamy ice cream.

Brought the team here tonight for cinco de mayo and it was INCREDIBLE! The drinks were delicious (margs of course), chips and dips were amazing, tacos incredible (including a whole vegetarian menu!), and awesome desserts! Best servers, phenomenal atmosphere, the best!

Love this place! My go to is the street tacos and a happy hour margarita, but the whole menu is delicious. Love the staff!

I saw in the newspaper that it's the best taco place. We went there yesterday. To be honest, I don't think it's the best taco, just okay! The rice was bland, the bean was okay, the taco was good but not the best. The salsa wasn't great!! Chip and salsa for $9.00 and chip and guacamole for $12.00 were just okay, not the best, and not worth it!! Other restaurants provide free chip and salsa. The margarita was good but not the best. There are other restaurants better than Taco Stop. The total price was $118.00, which is crazy! I really thought it was the best, but nope! I saw a lot of people there, mostly Americans, and I can understand why.

Really welcoming staff and quick service! We tried three types of tacos, the chips and salsa, chilaquiles and rice and beans. The steak and al pastor tacos were very good, I would highly recommend these. The corn tortillas they use are a step above what you'd find at most other shops around. They reminded us of the ones we get when we go visit family in Rosarito. The salsa on the chilaquiles was tasty but was lacking heat/spice, we added some of the diabla salsa and it was just right. The frijoles were also very good but a little disappointed the serving size was so small. Also a little disappointing that the chips and salsa were an additional $9. Not a huge fan of the seasoning they put on the chips. Rice and beans are also an additional fee and the seasoning for the rice not our favorite. The carnita taco was just ok. Not much flavor and a little on the mushy side. Overall we really enjoyed it. The decor was very nice, the staff is very friendly and the tacos as the name says were super yummy and why you should STOP here!! We would come back and just order tacos and skip the rest!

Omg this place is the real deal!! I haven't stopped thinking about it and I can't wait to go back. I have tried so many Mexican places around NOCO and they're all so mid. Not this place! They deliver on the food obviously but also the service. Our server was on point and explained everything on the menu and even offered suggestions. The meats were juicy and flavorful, not dry. And the rice was sooo good too. I can't wait to come back here and try literally everything on the menu. The birria was amazing!!

Let me tell you something about customer service and delicious food. This place is by far the best Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at in my life. Very open and welcoming very clean and friendly it's an enjoyable experience on top of their delicious food. I mean when I say delicious I mean delicious. I never finish my meals anywhere I go and I over ate at this place. I mean the owner came out and talk with us was so friendly very inviting and welcoming I mean this place deserves to have everyone's business around great please come eat it. read more

I've gotten addicted to their fajita burrito. I've been getting one about every 3-4 days for more than a month now. They nail it every time - delicious, perfectly grilled protein, tasty avocado sauce and veggies. So good. Tacos are very good also, but imo the burrito travels a bit better in these Civic times. My husband and I came here on a whim last night, and I'm glad we did! The staff was so nice and friendly and the food was amazing! My chicken enchiladas were really good and my husband said the pork pastor was the best he's ever had. We were too full to try their amazing looking desserts but I'm sure we will be back! read more

Soooooo good. The best nachos I have ever had, seriously. Pastor, I've never had pineapple on nachos, now I believe all nachos should have pineapple. The use fresh ingredients, chips were homemade. My son got the fajita burrito. It was very good. Nice staff, amazing food, we are all smiles. read more

Everything tastes fresh, and the customer service is fantastic. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a delicious meal, and someone always checks in on you to make sure your food tastes just how you want it. I go here on my lunch breaks, and I always leave more than satisfied! read more

Ordered the chicken fajita taco combo. Chicken has little to no seasoning. Marinating is easy guys...very small amount of effort needed. Beans on the side were ice cold. Verde salsa has WAY too much lime juice. Presentation was nice but the food was unsatisfying. Take a trip down to San Antonio and learn a thing or two. read more

Got a chance to check out the Taco Stop while at New Belgium Brewery today - out of all the generosity the food truck provides, the flavors definitely exceed the portion size. I got a steak Taco and a chicken Quesadilla. I would recommend both of these to anyone who happens to stop by the truck! Their rojo salsa definitely truly packs a spicy punch that compliments the bold flavors of their food. Although I definitely got my fair share of flavor, I just didn't feel like I got $7.00 worth of food. read more

I am so happy we had the opportunity to checkout The Taco Stop while at New Belgium over the weekend. I had the spinach quesadilla. It was a really good, unique twist to your basic quesadilla. The service was quick and friendly, I would high recommend making a stop at the truck if you come across it when you are out. read more

Great staff and wonderful food. Outstanding, authentic and tasty Mexican dishes. My wife and I try to make it to Taco Stop once every week if possible. Everything we have ordered here has been on point! The guacamole and chips are extraordinary, as are the current special, beef and poblano chili taquitos. AMAZING!!!. This is a dish I have never had a chance to try before today. What a treat. The enchiladas w/ choice of meat were other worldly. We are truly blessed to have Taco Stop available to us. read more

Excellent flavors! We loved the steak tacos and quesadillas. They have multiple salsa options which were great. The portions are kind of small so we ordered more than one meal per person. So convenient when you are at the brewery and need some real food! Yum yum yum! read more

It's hard to argue 5 stars here. I love my Mexican street tacos and when you find someone who could make them perfectly then you keep seeking them out. This will be me when I go up to this area. I thought these were among the best tacos that I have had in Colorado and I love that when they say spicy, they mean spicy (and that's not gringo spicy!). Very very good option especially if you're having a beer at one of the local breweries! read more

Something changed. I tried the steak tacos last month, and thought they were really good. The steak seemed like chopped carne asada with a good flavor. I gave them another try today and ordered the same thing, but it was completely different this time. The steak was more like a gamey pot roast than carne asada. I didn't like the flavor or texture. Bummer. read more

Absolutely scrumptious authentic food! We've been reading about it and decided to stop in. It was a bit hard to find because it was sort of off the side of the road decent parking was easy and free and the service was prompt. We were welcomed as we walked in and got some delicious queso fries and a burrito. Outstanding food! The only downside was the server kept trying to upsell and ask us multiple times if we wanted drinks(we just drink water usually and don't drink in the middle of the day LOL) and kept trying to add on sides of guacamole or salsa or chips even though we said no multiple times. Other than that, it was absolutely amazing, and we will definitely be back! Everything was fresh and homemade and exactly what I had envisioned. No outdoor seating as of yet but they said they're working on it and the front entrance looks like a perfect spot to put out a few tables and chairs to enjoy the sunshine! I'm excited to see how this evolves. read more

The authentic street tacos were not to be outdone by the outrageously tasty fried ice cream dessert that bought back a spoonful of nostalgia from my childhood days spent in Mexico. What a fantastic food truck. If you want authentic Mexican street food, this is the stop for you. They offer tacos, quesadillas and some amazing steak nachos, and you can get a filling and tasty meal for under $10! Their cheese sauce for the nachos and their salsa is very good and I have them add both on the tacos too. They should package this stuff and sell it. I found them while they were in front of New Belgium Brewing (Thursdays) and the customer service couldn't be better. Otherwise, I was told they're in old town for the rest of the week on college. This is a definitely a food truck worth trying. read more

I hate that I waited as long as I did to try the Taco Stop. The food was flavorful and plentiful. I got the enchiladas and it was everything I want my enchiladas to be and then some. And the person who greeted us when we rolled up and took our order was so genuinely nice and welcoming. This is now our go to Mexican spot in NOCO. read more
