Went for lunch on a Monday and practically had the place to ourselves. I ordered the turkey wrap with a side salad and the person I was with ordered eggs. They were both really good and the eggs came with a scone, which was delicious. We also got a full pot of pomegranate white tea, which was really good and stayed hot throughout the whole meal since it came with a tea light on the bottom. The service was friendly and fast. My daughter and I went on Saturday at 11. We were in the downstairs Dinis room. No one else was there, but they were expecting a baby shower- upstairs. The glass tabletops, tea pot, water glasses, etc. we're sticky and dirty. Rings of dried honey kept the pitcher stuck to the dish. sugar, butter and other condiment dishes were empty or poorly restocked. The food was poorly prepared and presente. pancakes were so thick and tough, I left most of the portion ony plate. My daughte's omelet was nearly burned. It had a hard crust of dark scorched egg. to advertise as a place for tea is a misnomer. There is not a tea treats selection. There are scones, but they are hard, overcooked and tasteless. There are no small tea sandwiches, small desserts, etc. Tea is available but this is not a place to experience tea as a meal on its own. Our total for an omelette, pancakes, pot of te and two scones was 40. This seems high to me. The room was dirty; the food awful and the experience cold and second rate. My daughter was embarrassed that our meal was so bad. I was visiting and she wanted a special time. I don't know why the other reviews are so positive. read more

I went to The Tailored Tea this afternoon after spotting it while driving to Schenectady. I did not realize one should make a reservation until after I arrived, but my partner and I only waited about ten minutes before we were seated at a table. In this day and age, I think most patrons should call restaurants before they travel in order to confirm necessary details like whether they should have a reservation. Knowing that I showed up to the restaurant without doing this planning, I was content knowing I may not get served or might have to change my lunch plans. No big deal. Lesson learned. Our server was very friendly and accommodating, but she seemed like she was swamped. This did not bother me and it did not appear to bother any of the other customers. I felt she was bit too apologetic for minor inconveniences like making a customer wait longer than usual for a check, especially while they were still drinking their tea. She was doing a fine job and there was nothing to apologize for, in my opinion. This is not a criticism of her, but an acknowledgement that 1) MANY customers are rude and impatient jerks, and 2) she is a fine server and I was delighted with her service. Besides, no one should rush an afternoon tea. Afternoon tea is meant to be relaxing. If you are considering coming to this lovely place but you're an impatient type, then please stay away. Go to a drive thru window and leave those of us who like to enjoy our tea in peace so we can be free from your negative energy. Don't bring negativity to a high tea! The tea itself was very nice, I had the Irish breakfast tea, although I was amused by how delicate the china was, and felt like my monstrous hands were going to damage the tea cup. Fortunately, having some experience with china like this, I didn't break anything. I recommend the restaurant have a couple tea cups that are more... robust... on hand for ham-handed men like me. Also, the chair I sat in was a little uncomfortable, especially for a larger man like myself, but it was not too bad and did not hinder my overall enjoyment. I would just prefer a more comfortable chair. The high tea I ordered was delicious. I had smoked salmon sandwiches with cream cheese. I am a notorious mayonnaise hater, so I was very pleased to see things like cream cheese on the menu. The buttermilk scone with clotted cream and raspberry jam was delicious. I typically prefer small round scones with a softer dough, but was happy with the scone I had. I would also prefer if the restaurant used ceramic or stainless steel ramekins to serve the cream and jam rather than plastic sauce containers with lids as these can't be reused and kind of cheapen the experience of a high tea. It's also not very ecological and I think they can do better. I'm sure they have their reasons for using the plastic cups, but this is just my opinion. As for my dessert, I did not eat my dessert because I was too full. Yes, the man who complained the china was too delicate and that he was too big for the chair could not finish his meal. Therefore, the portion sizes and the $20 price tag for the high tea was more than reasonable in this regard. The only thing constructive criticism I will offer is that I recommend the restaurant be given a deep clean. The cleanliness wasn't entirely up to my standards, which are higher than most. It didn't distract from my meal and I didn't feel unsafe, but I would appreciate it if the space was tidier. I saw lots of dust bunnies floating around the floor and walls. Similarly, my cutlery and dishes were not as clean as I would like. I realize the restaurant is inside an old rustic house, but that's not an excuse. This review would be a five star review if the restaurant was a bit cleaner, if they used ramekins instead of plastic containers, and if the chairs were a bit more comfy. Beware: if you are redeeming a Groupon, be prepared to be charged an extra $14.80 on top of the Groupon you purchased. I bought my partner a Groupon for the Historic Hills High Tea, which we presented when we arrived. At the end of the meal, we were given a bill for $14.80; they did the same to another table. "We raised our prices recently" they said, refusing to honor the Groupon (which was not expired) for what it said (the tea). This additional charge is about half of what I spent on the Groupon - this smells like a scam. I've contacted Groupon hoping that they'll make this right, so I guess we shall see. [edit: Groupon was not willing to do anything. Please learn from my very negative experience here and don't try to redeem a Groupon at this scam artist restaurant edit 2: I complained to Groupon a second time and they issued me $10 of credit on their site, which was most appreciated. If you were also scammed by this restaurant, I would urge you to follow up with Groupon]. We made a reservation and when we arrived and let them know we were there, we stood there for over five minutes while the wait staff argued about who would have to deal with us. Honestly, without the Groupon I would have walked right out then and there. It was kind of like family arguing over who was going to bite the bullet and deal with driving you to the airport at 4 am; I felt unwelcome and like I was disturbing them. Food was average and tasted more or less like I could have prepared everything at home. The salads were good (just make sure you love beets if you order the salad with beets; it's more a beet with some spinach leaves stuck in between). Sandwiches were okay; the roast beef was very low quality and tough, but I did enjoy the turkey. The scones were warm and were served with jam and clotted cream, so those were pretty good, but, again, nothing special I couldn't have made myself. We weren't told what any of the desserts on top were, but we were also so full by then that most of them went into a box to bring home. This is not a restaurant I will return to. If a restaurant wants to attract new customers with a special or Groupon, that's great. What's unacceptable, though, is slamming people with a bill at the end for another 50% instead of honoring the Groupon. Even had the food been better, I'd never return. Please consider this before you spend your money on their Groupon. Even though Short and Stout doesn't offer this kind of tea service which I was eager to try, they have always been good to us and I'd give them my business any day of the week. My mother and I went for lunch and really enjoyed our experience. We waited about ten minutes for a table, as the tea room was small and busy that afternoon. Overall, the aesthetic is a little cramped and rustic, less of a proper Victorian sitting room and more of a country-house. The service was very friendly and our waitress well-informed about the menu, but our table wasn't properly cleaned, and our teacups, while lovely, weren't very clean either. Because of the small nature of the room and how full it was, we had to speak up a little to hear each other, but the noise wasn't ridiculous. We shared a pot of Irish breakfast tea, and had the grilled cheese, the Guinness stew, and the scones of the day (delectable cherry cheesecake). First time here. I read all the reviews before coming and anticipated a long wait for everything but it was not the case. They had a large party upstairs but we were seated downstairs by a window and had very attentive service. It was our waitresses first day on the job and she did great. My friend and I shared a full pot of cinnamon tea which was excellent. I had an egg sandwich with ham and cheese and a buttermilk scone with clotted cream and raspberry jam. I loved the scone. It was a real treat. My friend and I were not in a rush. We wanted to sit and chat and they didn't rush us at all but they checked in on us often in case we needed anything. I was really thrilled with the place. I will be going back for high tea another time soon. I don't really like leaving albany so many great places walking distance from where I live but this was worth the drive and cute country ambiance. Also I was very put off by the owners responses to many of the posts on here. Felt she was combative when folks shared their concerns but I hear from my friend that the place is under new management (the chef bought it?). If that's actually the case I think they have solved some of the procedural problems that the last owner seemed to have. read more

We have been there twice but doubt that we will ever return. The food was good. However, it overpriced for the Albany area. It is a charming little place even though it is at the end of the airport runway. We did not notice any noise from outside, from the highway or the auto repair shop across the street. The noise came from a misbehaving child, who was seated in the middle of the dining room. Nothing was done despite repeated suggestions to the server that it was ruining the experience of a true tea room. Maybe these children should be seated in another part of the house, so those of us wanting to enjoy the experience, can do so. The unpaved lot was an issue for us. Was so disappointed with our visit . We were seated at a window table with at least 5 flies on the very dirty window panes. Could not even eat or drink without them landing on our plates, table etc. Waitress could not answer my question about the menu food , but did inform us that if we wanted just 2 cups of tea , we should order the 8.00 pot . Once a month, when I'm in the capital region I eat breakfast at The Tailored Tea. I have had no complaints! The food is top notch, priced appropriately in my opinion for the amounts, and quality. I always get my food to go, so I can't attest to the in-house accommodations. The waiters are always friendly, and considerate. I came here with my mom for a Mother's Day high tea on the day before Mother's Day. Mom had been very eager to try this place and I always like checking out unique local restaurants, so it seemed like a good choice. I noticed that their website says they don't take reservations for parties of four or more, but figured I'd call just to see if I could get a sense of how busy they would be on a Saturday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff person I spoke with offered to reserve a table for two for us. Definitely starting off on the right foot! We also arrived a bit early for our reservation, since we were not very familiar with the area and allowed a lot of travel time, but they seated us about 20 minutes before our reserved time. Nice! I was expecting the place to be some kind of mix of country and upscale. Yes on the country, not so much on the upscale. It is quite charming in a rustic sort of way. They serve you tea in old tea cups- each one is unique. However, I found the pots that accompanied our tea were a little worn down and I was puzzled why it appeared no one ironed the table linens that were under the glass table tops. Other than this, the main thing that detracted from the overall atmosphere was that it was very LOUD when we first arrived. There was a table of four, older women and all of them were really quite intense. After they left, the volume got down to a reasonable level, but we chatted with another mother daughter pair that was dining near us, and they said the room had been even LOUDER when they first sat down. If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing experience here, I'd recommend not coming at busy times, namely, weekends. One of the waitresses here concurred that it gets very LOUD when it's busy. We each got a tea featuring three sandwiches, a scone and their assortment of desserts ($17 each). The savory basil scone was the real standout of the meal. The accompanying clotted cream was excellent! The sandwiches were okay, but I was disappointed that they didn't have the salmon sandwich available when we ordered. I was a bit disappointed with the chocolate chip cookie, which was rather dry and a weird consistency. I didn't have any of the other dessert options- mom took them home to enjoy later. I had the vanilla tea which was kind of bland, but mom really scored with the cinnamon tea, which was really flavorful and amazing. One last note- no TP in the bathroom and it was a bit dirty. Eek! They really need to add a basket with reserve TP! I might go back here again if mom would like, but it wouldn't be my first choice. Also, biscotti is not a tea menu choice in my opinion, but it did fit in with the dried out theme. The service was friendly but I had to improvise. I should probably do three stars, but I'm a sucker for tea places and this was exactly what I was looking for. Girlfriend was getting her wedding dress in Albany, and I wanted to take her to a girly tea house, with finger sandwiches and scones and pretty cups. Tailored Tea delivered perfectly. The place is a cute Edwardian house off of a busy highway. The decor is girly, but without being all glitterpants sparklefingers. More like cool old photos on the wall, embroidery decor, and very pretty teacups. It's more farmhouse chic than cushy Victorian. We were seated right away and our sharp-looking waiter took our order pretty quickly too. Then we waited and waited and waited. Our tea came. Then we waited some more. Now, the thing was, we had an appointment to get the dress at 3:30. It was now almost 3:20 and we had been waiting for at least 45 minutes. I tugged the waiter and asked if he had an ETA, to which he replied "They're working on it." I guess there had been a big party upstairs. But having waitressed most of my teens, I can say that giving an excuse as to why your kitchen can't make a plate of finger sandwiches for two is not acceptable and sounds like we're not as important as the bigger party. And saying, "They're working on it" sounded rude and dismissive. Meanwhile, my dining companion had to call the bridal store and reschedule her appointment for later in the day. Eventually (by 3:50) our sandwiches arrived. Everything was tasty. We asked for the bill right away, and the young man took $5 off, which I appreciated. Our meals came with scones, but they were out of blueberry and the only other one had ham, so he brought me an extra mini-dessert, which was very nice. Like I said, I was going to give 3 stars, but aside from the long wait, this was a perfect femme event for me and my friend. She really enjoyed it and wants to go back, and hey, she's the bride! Decided to try the brunch because I was looking for a place close by that had Eggs Benedict. We arrived shortly after opening so there were only a couple tables but by the time we left they were beginning to get busy. Surprisingly there seemed to be only one person waiting tables. The Eggs Benedict has a different twist here. It is served over scones rather than English muffins. The scones were the only redeemable part of the dish. The "poached" eggs were so over cooked they were almost hard boiled. The "hollandaise" was so thin it looked like yolk. And the potatoes were so covered in Rosemary (one of my least favorite spices) that was the only thing you could taste. After finishing our meal we sat there for about 15 mins with our server no where to be found. The meal went from disappointing to annoying at this point. First let me state that this is not my kind of place. It is not targeted at my demographic. However, sometimes you need to go to keep the wife happy. This is a tea house and it does a pretty good job of doing that (with a few exceptions). I normally might have given 3 to 3.5 stars(if it were possible) but I am cutting them a little slack as this place is new and has some good potential. We went for Sunday brunch and the food and service was very good overall. We had none of the issues other reviwers have mentioned. Service was prompt and attentive, the tables were steady, portions were decent. The scones were freah and tasty - apparently the offerings vary daily for both sweet and savory scone flavors. They do have some standard, diner-like offerings on the menu - like the 2 eggs, sausage, homefries that I ordered. All was well prepared. Where they could improve is the coffee and teas - both were a bit weak and uninspired. Odd for a 'tea house'. The location is a bit odd - at the end of the runway of the ALB airport - but the noise was not an issue. The 1800's house is nice but the grounds are spartin - as others have noted they have an unpaved parking area. There is good potential here if they can pave the parking and, perhaps add a patio dining area (the guys can watch the planes take off/land turning an issue into a feature). read more

FAR Exceeded ALL expectations!!! I booked The Tailored Tea for my parents' 50th anniversary celebration, as we envisioned a nice lunch for 15-20 people in a cozy setting. The staff, setting and food were all above and beyond what I could ever have hoped for! During the booking of the event, I worked closely with Annie (the owner) on all the details - menu, table setup, etc. We worked as a team in the process and narrowed down menu choices to "something for everyone". Annie was wonderful about staying in touch leading up to the event as we tweaked attendance numbers and other details, such as the setup of the tables in the room. She is efficient, friendly and enthusiastic. A very gracious and sweet woman, and super thoughtful. One example: I bought "50 Anniversary" cocktail napkins and asked Annie's thoughts on their use, since she has lovely mismatched linens and china for meal service. Her perfect solution: use the 50th napkins for the cake service. Perfect! On the day of the event, my aunt and I were met at the door by Christine, who was the server for our event. She led us to the room for our event, reiterated the menu, and offered her assistance. The folks at The Tailored Tea clearly have customer service and professionalism at the forefront...it was a great way to start off the event and made a fantastic impression. I felt like the staff at The Tailored Tea truly cared about our event and were concerned that everyone enjoy themselves, and it really showed in all that they did. The food was absolutely terrific. We began with mixed scones: chocolate chip for the sweet, and cheddar scallion for the savory. All the accompaniments (jams, clotted cream, etc.) were part of the meal package. These got rave reviews from all of our guests. Our starters were a selection of salad with seasonal fruit and a vinaigrette, or potato and bacon soup. I loved the salad and tasted my husband's soup. Somehow it managed to be hearty and rich without being too heavy. Full of flavor. Entrees were eggs benedict on scones (tasted great!), chilled salmon on salad with an amazing lemon-mint vinaigrette, and a delicious chicken pot pie - not the traditional, but almost a chicken stew, and topped with a homemade biscuit. Everything was fresh and homemade. Our teas were iced Raspberry Apple Herbal as well as an additional (I believe it was Pomegranate Currant), and the hot teas were Irish Breakfast and Peach Rooibis - all fantastic. Dessert was our cake, brought in special for the event. The Tailored Tea, it's important to note, did not sell us the cake, nor did they charge a cake cutting fee. But they really shone in their customer service in this aspect. The cake had its own lovely table outside of our private room, and Annie brought it in for a ceremonial cutting, then she and her capable staff took it out of the room to cut and serve it. Beyond that, they divided up the remainder of the cake, and using supplies I brought for this purpose, wrapped the rest of the cake for guests to take home. It was this sort of value-added service, freely and graciously given, that was just one aspect that made the event at The Tailored Tea so very special. While our luncheon was booked to run 1-1/2 to 2 hours, we never felt rushed, and we did run over our allotted time. Again, an average or chain restaurant might pressure you to get out, but we got nothing but hospitality and kindness from Annie, Christine and the rest of the staff at The Tailored Tea. At the end, I told Annie that I couldn't thank her enough...it's like this lovely old house that sat empty for years was waiting just for her. We left with wonderful memories and rave reviews from the entire group. Menu printed with executive chef brought some optimism to our impending brunch. Basic omelets with scones & potatoes that were as hard as the scones! Extremely disappointed. We've been coming here for about 4 years. It hasn't been great ever... but we were willing to give it another try. This will be our last visit.... We had the Groupon for two high teas gifted to us. From the start we knew nothing had improved since our last visit. The dining room smelled "unclean", and the paper menus printed on computer paper were so worn and faded that you could hardly read the print anymore. Printed menus on computer paper should be replaced at least once a week. That really doesn't take much effort. The cleanliness was what I'd imagine dining in the late 1700's, when the building was erected would be like. Everything had a dust or film on it. The glasses weren't clean (lip marks and food) and someone sitting near us mentioned there was an ant in their tea pot (the server said they would "let him know" and brought a new pot. I'm sure it wasn't any cleaner. We ordered the iced tea instead of the half pot of hot tea. The iced tea is not the same amount of tea you would get in the half pot. Our soup (French dip soup) had a sour taste as though white vinegar was added. It was obvious the soup was made from leftover ingredients. We both ate less than half and I mentioned it tasted sour like vinegar. There was no offer to bring the salad in place of uneaten soup. The food always takes a very long time. We kept busy by watching the flies on our sugar caddy clean their legs and wings and watched other flies trapped between the window screen. We eventually got our tower of tea sandwiches, scones and desserts. The roast beef tasted like cleaner or chloraseptic throat spray. The turkey sandwich had no flavor and the smoked salmon was very fishy. I tried with all my strength to crack the dry biscotti in half to share. It was at least a day or two old. While we were eating, the grimey door to the kitchen swung open and we saw one of the cooks sitting on a step stool near floor level and a kitchen as dirty and unkept as the dining room. That confirmed why the dishes weren't properly cleaned and the freshness of the food was questionable. The kitchen was gross! (And I've worked in a lot of kitchens over 15 years in the service industry) We were ready to be finished at that point. I asked for a box and the check. The kicker was...they tried to charge $14.80 on TOP of the Groupon cost. The Groupon specifically states it is for two high teas (not just the amount of $50.00). The justification by our somewhat flustered server was that the price of the high tea had increased by $10.00..... ummm ok, so why would the Groupon say that it is for TWO high teas ($30.00 each) NOT $50.00 off. $60.00 for soup made from leftovers, some tea, sandwich scraps and dried desserts is highway robbery!! I asked her to speak to management and I was only charged the tax (as the bill originally should have indicated). I get it, people have caught on and you aren't doing business like you used to, food costs, building costs, minimum wage have all risen... That doesn't mean you price gouge the customer. If you want people to return, you need to come up with a better plan. Start by cleaning the place! That's a low cost improvement! On multiple occasions people in our party didn't feel well after eating here... it's really no wonder with their standards of cleanliness. This was one of the worst dining experiences that I've had. We waited over 50 minutes for our food. I ordered the Strawberries and Cream French Toast - I expected fresh strawberries and (at very least) Reddi-whip. I received soggy bread topped with what I believe to have been frozen berries that were pan heated and an unidentifiable cream (lemony custard, maybe?). I sent it away and the waitress did remove it from the bill. I decided to give the buttermilk scone a try (as I was ravenous by this point) and it was so overcooked that I gave up on this restaurant after the first bite. My bridesmaids threw me a wonderful shower this past weekend at The Tailored Tea, and very thoughtfully arranged for a plant-based menu for the entire event! I had no idea that The Tailored Tea could provide so many excellent plant-based offerings, but as a vegan bride, I wanted to be sure to share that this venue did a fantastic job accommodating us to make others aware of their flexibility and deliciousness. Our server was very sweet and attentive, and the food was incredible. Almost all of the mostly-omnivorous guests were commenting about how tasty and plentiful the tea sandwiches, scones and desserts were, and we were all absolutely stuffed by the end. I was really impressed. The setting was also adorable for a smaller shower (we had 20ish guests) with eclectic tablecloths, napkins, teacups and saucers and other whimsical decorative touches. read more

I admired this restaurant from afar for a while before finally trying it. Now, I come when I can to treat myself to healthy, delicious food and the peaceful atmosphere. The location is directly by the airport, providing an entertaining view of the planes coming and going from Albany airport. This time here, I had the chicken pot pie and daily iced tea. The day's iced tea was a flavorful and refreshing black tea. The chicken pot pie came with a lovely fresh salad. The pot pie was homemade, creamy, and best of all, given its own unique touch by being topped with a sweet scone instead of pie crust. I always enjoy this spot. Thank you so much for a wonderful bridal shower for my niece. The tables were beautiful, loved all the different tea cups. There was also a table for gifts. The sandwiches were delicious and the deserts too. We had plenty of food for our group of 20. The mixed berry tea was amazing. Some people also had hot tea. I had a voucher for this place. I looked everything up online for when to come for the package I purchased. I tried to make a reservation, but the website said reservations were only for groups of 4 or more and it was only 2 of us. No where on the voucher or the website did it say reservations are highly recommended or necessary - just that the Hudson Hills High Tea is served daily from 2-5 and I just had to go and show my voucher. Well my friend and I arrived a little after 2 and were informed that they were all booked for the day and that you can make reservations for 2 people and that they are unable to make changes to their website. The woman seemed entirely unapologetic about the fact that their website and voucher information was misleading. I do not want to hear an excuse about their website, I want to know how they'll improve a situation in which I drive out there for no reason. read more

After half an hour driving to get this place, we were kicked out because they claimed the day was fully booked, while obviously about at least two tables in the first floor are open. No any sincere apology but just "sorry, you have to reserve". Kicked out in a windy winter day. Awful! We were here for a voucher too. And nothing on voucher indicated reservation is recommended! They didn't do a good job, and then offer no solution to the problem. Again, such an awful experience! read more

The interior is like an old farm house, the wooden floorboards near my table would undulate as the staff walked past me, making me feel like someone was tugging the bottom of my chair when the staff walked by. 7/10 Scones - I didn't try them but my wife had cranberry spice scone and it didn't have much spice. 7/10 Omelette - commonplace, not interesting interior. 8/10 Lemon Blueberry pancakes - 10/10 Real Maple Syrop... at no extra charge, but I had to ask for it. 6/10 Orange juice - not 100% OJ. Fact that it was from concentrate not as big a deal as that it was Tropicana juice drink which while 100% juice, is not 100% orange juice. 7/10 Tea - They had several varieties but I would have preferred some more aromatic varieties of black tea - such as peach and apricot or mint. Clotted cream - my wife thought it very nice, to me it was not as sweet as I remember in England Interior - very nice little tea place, though my pelvic pain issues make the wooden chairs not my preferred seating. The owner was very friendly and visited newcomers. She handled my feedback on the OJ very well and I am sure they will be changing brands eventually. read more

I have pondered visiting for some time. I purchased a Groupon for High Tea and I am grateful I experienced the tea room with a discount. My expectations may have been a bit high. Walking in from the parking area we were first put off by a lawn that was not mowed and what may have been used as a patio seating area that was cluttered with stuff. A large part of afternoon tea is the ambiance. The tableclothes were wrinkled. The random and mismatched teacups were charming. The tea stand was as expected, however no plates were provided so you had to remove the plate, with all of it's contents to have something to hold your food while you ate. Jam and clotted cream were served in disposable plastic containers rather than a proper ramekin. There was a knife to be shared using both, rather than a spoon for each. The tea sandwiches were bland, roast beef was quite well done, bread for salmon sandwich was stale. Scones were warm, but a bit more biscuit like. Deserts were average. The chocolate chip cookie tasted of baking soda. Overall, I was disappointed. read more

I really enjoy The Tailored Tea. As a 20 year old it is a nice refreshing place to go to get a break from the hustle and bustle of a typical day. The clientele is a lot of elderly people but don't let that scare you away. The decor is perfect. It is is an old house with beautiful mismatched china which adds a certain lovable quirkiness to it. The food was delicious. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli. It was in some sort of amaretto tasting sweet sauce with cherry tomatoes and spinach. IT WAS AMAZING. It tasted like a real treat. Definitely something I would order again and again. My friend got the Horace Greeley sandwich, she says she really enjoyed it. The tea can be ordered by half pot or full pot. The half pot is 3 dollars. The menu said it was 3 cups of tea but it was really 7! The pot never seemed to end and that was okay with me, I highly recommend the Raspberry Apple tea. It had a delightful tartness to it. The service was good and quick, even when it got to be busy. There was only one waiter on the entire room, he did a very good job not neglecting anyone. The Tailored Tea is a unique experience. I would recommend it for anyone. Anyone between a little girl (they would love it) to an elderly man and anything in between would find this place charming. read more
