First things first, the view is absolutely spectacular. Vast oceanfront and beach/dock view right…read morenext to our table, and the sunset was exceedingly beautiful today. Service was pretty good, our server was very friendly and helpful, but they seemed to be pretty busy so he didn't come around too much (which we also appreciated, as it was just enough space and attention). Food was better than I expected! All of the dishes were well-cooked and flavorful, the drinks (mango margarita) were a bit strong but loved, and nothing was too salty or too bland. We started with a dozen oysters which were very fresh and slightly chewy (different from northern oysters that I usually have), then had the cod, crab cakes, and snapper, all with well-paired sauces and great sides (the snapper was slightly overcooked). Everyone got complimentary sunset shots as the sun was dipping towards the horizon, and we finished off with a giant slice of key lime pie (that we couldn't quite fit in so we took back because it was too good to waste). Overall good experience and will definitely be back to try more!

I hate to rate them this low. However, my grouper was cool, not lukewarm, but cool. The Grouper was…read morerather dry, and that was frustrating. I tasted more filling than crab in my small crabcake. The veggies were cool. However, the sauce was rather tasty. My wife had a similar experience. I also ordered the Key Lime. If you've seen many of my hundreds of reviews, I love me some Key Lime. Look, I became hungry just thinking about a slice. Regrettably, this Key Lime was disappointing in taste. The rather larger crust could've been outstanding, but alas, it too was plain. My daughter enjoyed her chicken salad but didn't like the salty fries. My mother-in-law didn't believe her Snapper meal was Snapper. She said it was moist. Yet, she said it was okay. Disclaimer: The Server was great, but she was taking care of a group of 14 people. The people who came out to help her deliver the food were ok. We asked several times whether the "Catch of the Day" was the Flounder. We were repeatedly told, "No." It was. Consequently, those who ordered it also had cooler food. I believe those issues contributed to the food temperature. This place came highly recommended. In short, I wasn't pleased with paying $164 for three mediocre meals. I encourage you to try them out. I plan on taking my wife back there on August 27 to give them another chance. I'm certain it'll be much better.

Date of Visit: 04/25/2026…read more It was a beautiful and needed to take Fritz out, I checked Google maps and found a cool craft beer place and saw they serve burgers. So off I went. Found it on MLK just past 30th...went inside and notice they don't have a kitchen but food trucks that serve...not what I wanted but had a beer any way. But where I was going with this is just across the street is this place and glad I did. It's my kinda neighborhood bar. The girl was quick to notice my presents and drink orders taken. I was wanting a burger so looked the menu over and the "Double Ralphy" LTO w/bacon...and upgrade to fries. As I waited for my burger I took in the place. I didn't go all the way in but there was a place to hide and relax, cool. Burger arrived and it looked great. I did say bacon earlier but I didn't notice it came with till now. I asked for medium and medium I got. And the LTO was fresh as well. The only thing if any, the fries could have been done just bit more. And these are the fries I prefer too. I can see me and wife out for a drive and stopping in for cold one, that kinda place. Peace.

Intermediate violations are those which, if not addressed, could lead to risk factors that contribute to foodborne illness or injury. These violations include personnel training, documentation or record keeping and labeling. Basic violations are those which are considered best practices to implement. Very, very casual atmosphere. Love walking into a restaurant/bar where everyone turns to look at you and then start whispering. I was ready to jet, but others wanted to check out the outside. Not saying we're all that bougie but to say it has a patio is giving it too much credit. There are table, chairs and benches to sit on. It was toga night but only two of the staff dressed for the occasion and there was a DJ that came on while we waited for our dinner. Giovanni (who did not have on a toga) waited on our party of four and he was the highlight of our experience. He came out with a cocktail, yes cocktail that he claimed to devise that was delicious. Though a member of our party complained that the wine was ready to turn to vinegar, at least on his first glass. We order the chicken wings Garlic & Habanero) which were really good. I had the shrimp scampi which came with garlic bread and salad and all of this was very tasty. Husband had gyro and fries, which were so filling he had to get a to go box. Dinner guests both had the Catch of the Day which turned out to be sole, one grilled, one blackened and salads. He loved the grilled sole, don't think she was too keen on hers. All in all thank goodness the food was so good. I would say this place is designed more for locals because they sure weren't too friendly, except for Giovanni, to tourists and out of town guests.

Shelley had the smash burger, fries crispy and exactly as ordered. I went with the Fish Fryday special -- fried cod, fries, tartar. It was fried fish. I ordered fried fish. Hard to complain when the menu delivers on its promise. Kitchen threw in extra tartar sauce without us asking -- always a good sign. Happy hour pricing on my Corona, no dreaded credit card surcharge. Open air Marina view still the best seat around, watching the boats drift by. Only letdown: last visit we had dolphins putting on a show table-side. This time, nothing. I'll be speaking to management about their apparent failure to order dolphins for our table. Unacceptable. Location: Sunset Cove, below Seafire Grill on 19 South in New Port Richey.
