Nice and clean restaurant they have plenty of options to choose from I chose to Vietnamese coffee from my very first time if you never had it before it is extremely sweet, but it was good. I recommend you try them if you haven't done so already.

I should lobby them for a bigger lobby

If you come in late Nov it's The Turkeyhouse. If you send fake votes from overseas to get Trump elected? The Absenteehouse. And if you're the only ten I see? It's The Tennessee House. We love this place because we are in the top pictures at this place! We really appreciate that! Some of the servers are nice and some of them are a little hostile. It seems very different to a lot of the other Teahouse locations. Unfortunately the most important element is the drinks and the other one was really really watered down. We've had that problem at a lot of other locations also, but never in Rice Village or Memorial or Chinatown. Anyway, we will give them another try next time we're back down here and see if it's any different. If not then I might have to lower the star rating. If it's excellent then they'll go up to 5. Speaking of going up to 5, I don't mind netflix and chilling (sans Netflix) with more than one guy at a time, but I only go up to 5.

Nice spot for a cold or hot drink. Open late, lots of seating, and a very friendly staff. I wasn't sure what to order and the lady at the counter helped me pick a good one out. She could tell I wasn't sure about taste and flavor so she even let me try it before she was done! It was just a bit too bitter for my taste but she added a little more sweetener and BAM delicious. I signed up for points and will be back soon to try more. They have lots of seating and some games for customers. Lots of parking since it is a plaza but The plaza seems to get crowded. The later hours look easy to get in and out. Be aware it is on a corner in the center so you may pass it. It's right at the mid light of Woodridge near HEBs gas station.

I've been coming here everyday for 6 days now for my pre-work beverage. It's so bad that my cowers wanted it so I come to order at least 2 to 7 drinks. Mind you it's only been a week since we started our addiction to this place. The service is great and the location is small but they are never really that busy. The reward program works so that's a BONUS. My favorite drink is the Jasmine Green Creme Tea- blended. Other frequent purchased drinks are Mango, Strawberry, and Cookies and Creme. Not a fan of the Caramel Creme.

First time at this location. Customer service was excellent. Quality and taste of my drink - on point and delicious. It was a chill environment. Areas were clean. Restroom was in order.

Nice place to hang out and drink some refreshing drinks. Although there is a good amount of seating spots, it is a small place so it can feel pretty crowded pretty quick, nonetheless the drinks are pretty good so I would definitely recommend you stop by and try from their delish menu!

Good!!! Taste like com chay the Vietnamese burnt rice

popcorn chicken was bomb and you get to choose spicy or not spicy. I had their roasted rice green tea. First time having roasted rice drink and it was aromatic. Taste was yummy, I would get it again. They offer snacks with drinks which is a plus.

I called at 6:30 for a pick up , was told to wait 15 mins . I came in at 6:50 waited 15 mins more and they still didn't have my drink then. I had to reorder it and waited till 7:30 to say I've waited an hour and my drink still hasn't came out , ppl behind me where getting there drinks and they turned around went to the fridge and said there here and she looked frustrated. So I got my drinks while I did I said no one called my name ever and I sat here for so long being 7 months pregnant needing to drink something was actually painful for me to wait that long. I tried my drink and it was all liquid when I got the smoothie. I asked if they can remake it and I said please. So I went back in and the black girl with long black and blond braids to her Cavs, looked at me like she was going to jump over the counter and hit me . For no reason I have no idea what's there problem. But they strsssed me out. Made me feel they were going to spike or do something to my drink. They remade it and said there's no more tapioca at 7:45 . They also said my refund is in the bag and when I got home this is what I found. The employe lied didn't give me my money back and dropped in quarters like it's a joke. How humiliating and a disgusting degrading way to treat a customer may I please have my refund back. I can't believe customer services treats pregnant women like that .

    Pretty good...

Thankfully, Mark was there and initially was told a 35 minute wait but seemed intent by quicker. Ambiance: 4/5 It was breakfast time so of course it was a busy time. For my visit, it was crowded but not to where you couldn't hear your table. Dress is casual, good for friends, solo, or pit stop. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Since it was our first visit there, she gave us some background that it was a Pappa's owned restaurant and food is made from scratch. Food: 3/5 They offer mimosas and I was tempted to order, but was driving and it was 9AM so forewent that option. There are food options for every tastebud. Mark ordered the fried cheese sticks, they were one of the items that I found worthwhile to return for. I opted for the Waffle feast. It included a waffle, that I added pecans on top to, two strips of bacon, eggs your way and hash browns. To say that I needed to add salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns because they tasted bland and flavorless was unfortunate. It also was served at room temperature, because it was made from scratch, would think it be warmer to hot. The waffle was savory and had good mix and topped with the pecans made it even better. If you're on this side of town and want a change up from the "other breakfast diners" DOT would be where I stop. Fast, friendly service. Depending the food you get, it gets the job done for some sustenance to hold you over when you're not sure when your next meal is because you'll be in Galveston for 7 hours riding a float in the Mardi Gras parade.

This place is an absolute gem and you can feel the history the moment you walk in there's a reason they've been around since 1956. Everything feels classic, warm, and authentic, and the smell alone is enough to pull you straight to the counter. The kolaches are OUTSTANDING. Soft, fresh, perfectly baked dough with generous fillings -- both sweet and savory options are on point. Whether you're grabbing sausage kolaches, fruit-filled pastries, or anything in between, you can tell everything is made with care and consistency. Nothing tastes mass-produced. It tastes homemade in the best way. Their coffee pairs perfectly with the pastries too --smooth, flavorful, and exactly what you want with a warm kolache in the morning. It's the kind of spot where you come in for "just one" and end up leaving with a box because everything looks too good to pass up. What really stands out is how efficient and friendly the staff is, even when it's busy. They keep the line moving, are helpful with recommendations, and genuinely seem proud of what they serve -- which says a lot. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions, especially compared to trendy bakeries that charge double for half the flavor. This is real Houston comfort food at its finest. Perfect for breakfast, a quick bite on the go, or grabbing treats for coworkers or family. I'll definitely be coming back regularly this is now one of my go-to spots whenever I'm craving something warm, fresh, and satisfying. Highly recommend. Hands down one of the best kolache places in Houston.

The place is cozy in size similar to Andy's Home Cafe and there is a bar for solo diners to eat at. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is a steam table that serves a lunch special with multiple options. It is not manned all the time because customers may want to order from the menu instead. The prices here are cheap, even less than Frank's or Telwink nearby. My catfish and eggs were $11.99 and it was only $1.50 to add an extra egg. The catfish may have been swai though given how mild it was, but the portions were comparable to the diner competitors. You also have to season the eggs and grits yourself like at other diners. As I was eating, customers started strolling in for lunch. The bad thing about the place is the steep entrance and exit to the parking lot. If you have a low car like mine, you'll definite scrape the bottom no matter what angle you take. So I don't think I will ever return despite the food value here.
