They are taking forever and ran out of tapioca/boba. Bad customer service! I just requested for them to refund me the boba charge and they refund me the whole transaction (including the cream blend) minus the tip. So, I'm leaving with nothing. Any teahouse is good! I know many reviewers have had negative experiences, but this is expected with any new business. I'd give them a few months and hopefully these small inconveniences will fade. My husband and I come here often and we plan to return! If there's a line, we'll wait, and if the order is wrong, we'll make sure to have them fix it. I love tea and tapioca! The staff and the service are great! Ashley, the manager is phenomenal at her job and is very friendly. Charlie and Henry are also very friendly as well. The drinks and food always come out quickly and the quality is always excellent. The only downside is that there is no a/c and it gets somewhat uncomfortable, especially when I am working on schoolwork for a couple hours. This was my first time visiting this location. Service was very slow, but since it's new that's to be expected. We waited for about 20 minutes when the manager comes over to my friend and tells her they don't have the drink she ordered, even after they said they did. So that was a bit annoying. He asked if she wanted to substitute it, but she decided she wanted a refund instead. He proceeds to pull out a wad of cash from his pocket, and hands her a $5. So unprofessional! I had ordered a Roasted Rice Green TeaPress with tapioca and mixed fruit jelly. When I received my drink, the mixed fruit jelly was nowhere to be found. I proceeded to tell the manager, and he took my drink and plopped a giant scoop into it--my drink was basically 1/3 mixed fruit jelly at this point. My drink tasted good regardless, though. Another Teahouse location in Houston with the same great menu of bubble teas and slushes, and with the same reward system as their other spots around town. There's less seating than their Shepherd & Westheimer location (and none outside ) but it's still a comfy place to sit with friends and have a tasty drink. read more

This is my second time coming. The first I was not impressed but I just figured I didn't order anything special on the menu by ordering a basic peach tea so I gave them another shot. Today I got the honey dew cream tea and it was incredible. The only down side is when I originally placed my order I was asked if I wanted tapioca and I said no. When I received my drink it had tapioca in it. They took it back to fix it and the girl in the back was saying something about "they all come with tapioca" and just had a very bad attitude. She is not the one that took my order so I'm unsure if her attitude was directed at me or at the girl that actually took my order but either way it was incredibly unprofessional. I told them if it was a problem I would take a refund and leave. The manager told me no but when I came back from using the rest room he proceeded to ask me very loudly across the restaurant if I was "happy now" which I also felt was unprofessional. However I'm not unreasonable and I know the quality of some of their teas is good so I more than likely will give them one more chance. read more

I absolutely LOVE Teahouse. Definitely my go-to when it comes to tapioca. It's great to have a location so close to home now. I typically order the same exact thing every time I go to any Teahouse location which always includes coffee jelly. However, every time I order coffee jelly at this location, I NEVER get it. I've even asked if I could get it added after I received my drink once and the worker argued that it was there and I just couldn't see it. I didn't want to argue or cause I fuss so I went on and low and behold. There was no coffee jelly. I swear I'm not trying to like Bubble Bass from spongebob with the "still no PICKLES" but it just bums me out. Please :( make sure coffee jelly IS being put in the drinks! I pay extra and never say anything not to cause a fuss but it get disappointing every time I come to this location. Thank you! read more
