Ordered through Grubhub but never again. Noticed how much they up charge the cost of each plate.

We were looking for something to order, pick up and take home to eat. We did a search and this happen to pop up. I am puerto rican and have had my food on the island as well (nothing beats that experience) BUT Im glad I gave them a try because his food was fresh, full of the rican flavor. I may have wanted a little bit more jugito poured over the mofongo, but it was all yummy. We had the shrimp mofongo and beef steak mofongo. They come with a good amount of rice. His service is great. he is friendly and efficient without compensating the flavor or quality of the food. Its a food truck parked in the same plaza as Cherry Creek. There is a table or two to sit and enjoy the food. I definitely recommend to give this food a try. Tip: Call him directly and place the order because I ordered with grub hub and noticed they up charge you a hefty amount for each plate. Wont be making that mistake again.

Tostones. There were several in the order and they were seasoned perfectly.

We drove several hours to attend the Sazón Latin Food Festival. Our first stop was the Texa Rican 512 food truck. The owner was SO nice! We got the arroz con gandules and the tostones. I never make tostones at home because they're a hassle and his were AMAZING! Everything was delicious. The owner also sampled us a chicken skewer and the marinade he had on there was absolutely phenomenal. The owner was also the nicest of everyone we purchased from. We will definitely eat there again the next time we go to Austin as there were several menu items we were interested in.

Love this place. Not going to lie - It took a really long time (the first time) because they were just getting started and didn't know how much food to prepare for the business they were getting. But the food was phenomenal. Today we got it again (with the in-laws) and the food, once again, was amazing. We are going to Puerto Rico in two weeks, but still wanted some delicious food today. Lol We only call ahead now and pick-up the order - rather then stopping by the truck and ordering in-person. We get the fried pork and pernil mofongo plate. Do yourself a favor and try them out! Up-to-date menu is on Facebook.

Fried pork, Tostones with mayoketchup. Yum

This review is from today's visit at the Texa Rican 512 food truck at the Latin food festival, San Antonio. Many options to choose from but I went with an order of Tostones and side of fried pork. They were made to order, took less than 10 minutes and they were on point. Delicioso and super amazing. Chef was very friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend and on my next trip to Austin, I'll be on the lookout for y'all. Mil Gracias.

    Hard tostones

Bought tostones from this truck at the Sazon Latin food fest...wrapped in paper..fried rock hard like a potato chip..very disappointed

The pork was hard and hard to eat seems it had been refried no sauce so couldn't soften it. The rice was ok but plain.

A huge shoutout to Cal, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and recommended so many amazing options that we probably wouldn't have ordered on our own. Best experience ever!…read more The food was phenomenal. Best meal ever. Service was untouchable. Our server went above and beyond to help us and take care of us. The music and the scene inside the restaurant was pure fun! We arrived on a Saturday night with no reservations and only had to wait for about 30 minutes. As soon as we sat down, I knew this would be special! The inside decor is beautiful and our server was so kind and answered all of our questions and helped us order. It was a group of 4 friends so we decided to order several different plates and share everything. We got the coco buns, pepper shrimp, roti, fish rundown, West Indian curry, wild boar pepper pot, coconut rice, and the fried plantains. I can't decide what was my favorite. The roti was perfect and the curry was the best curry I've ever had. If you have a chance to go here- do not pass this up!! Seriously, the best meal in the best city!

Service: 4/5: our waiter did a good job at checking on the table and taking our order on time. Nothing bad to point out. Food: 4/5: The food was better than what I expected. I ordered the stuffed chicken plate and I would order it again if I went back. The salsa that comes with the chips is a bit hot but so tasty. Definitely poured that on everything. Unfortunately, we didnt order drinks so couldn't rate my experience with that. Overall good experience

It's challenging to replicate the same experience locally, as these restaurants lack access to the fresh, local ingredients that define their unique cuisine. Casa Colombia does a good job replicating a true Colombian dining experience. Their menu is extensive with some very interesting offerings. Scanning the dining room, I noticed that their portions are huge. We started with a shrimp cocktail, an empanada, and their version of a rum - mango martini. The small option for the shrimp cocktail was bountiful and easily shared. The housemade cocktail sauce was a perfect accompaniment. The empanada was a tad dry, but their spicy salsa sauce was a great addition. Our "martini" was sweet but very satisfying on a warm afternoon. We did want to try their ceviche, but they are using tilapia as their fish. Quality Seafood is not too far away, and I'm sure that they could offer a better-tasting white fish than plain ole tilapia. We split one of their house specials, the Bandeja Paisa Tipica. This is a traditional Colombian dish, and it is a meat lover's dream served on an oversized platter. Our platter arrived with a chorizo link, beef sirloin, rice, red beans with pork, a huge fried chicharrón, an arepa, a sweet plantain, a slice of avocado (well, there's the only healthy portion), and a fried egg on top. We struggled to eat about 70% of this feast. It's going to take a few visits to the gym to work off this lunch. Dis & Dat: Parking is a breeze as they have their own parking lot. They do offer a happy hour that begins at 3 PM. A definite 4-plus star experience.

It's a fairly small space, they have a good amount of seating considering the size, but it does feel more targeted towards takeaway business. We overall had a great experience and highly recommend anyone in the area to check it out! I had curry goat wrap as my main and we shared an aloo pie. The portion sizes are huge, so I recommend either coming hungry, or with the mindset that half of your food will be brought home for another meal The aloo pie had a nice crispy pastry filled with a flavorful potato curry. The goat curry was super flavorful and just the right amount of richness. I appreciated that there was a near even balance of goat and potato in the wrap, as opposed to a ton of potato and a little goat Will definitely be coming back here to explore more of the menu in the not too distant future!
