Let me set the downtown scene for you guys! Me and the boys were rolling around in deep deuce on some scooters having a great day. I seen a sign outside a stag that said happy hour. Instantly we stopped in and were greeted by, Monica and Tay!!! and let me tell you they were so welcoming we came to sit at the bar for a couple old-fashioned! Next thing you know, we were eating appetizers and having a few more drinks accompanied by everybody's good vibes and spirit. 10 out of 10 you guys this is what customer service is supposed to be. This is how bartenders are supposed to interact. They answered every question and provided amazing. Suggestions with so much knowledge about the product. We were blown away. We are definitely coming back. read more

I used to come here when I lived in Oklahoma City and it was one of the first places that I had ever smoked cigars so I would credit this place as one of the spots that changed my life as it relates to my hobby of smoking cigars. I brought my wife and cousin here and they loved the drink prices. Plus it was an easy walk from our hotel which was super helpful. If I'm ever there during the week I'm going to for sure try out the food specials that they offer because it seemed like they offer pretty great options. The ambiance is a 12/10. OKC! A relaxing night in you alls city I located Stag's Lounge. There humidor wasn't as furnished as I wished; Not too much to choose from. The dude Kennedy has a bitter, sweet approach but, firm within business. The bar seamed well organized and the kitchen was closed. There menu has a few decent options that maybe eye grabbing and delicious. Overall it was a start. Came all the way back from Los Angeles, and 6 months later this place still has the best service. Thank you Kennedy for walking over and lighting my cigar while I was watching the game! I remember when this place used to be pretty cute and posh, now it looks like a regular ol dive bar. It's still a decent place to smoke a cigar, grab a cocktail, and some lite bites but definitely nothing wowing. It serves its purpose and I guess that's all that really matters. Lol read more

1/14/25 the lady working at the bar answered the phone and told me the kitchen closed at 10:00pm. I arrive at 946pm and she now has a dumb look on her face saying I do last call at 9:45. I was staying at a hotel around the corner. I walked over for a quick cocktail. To my surprise, I was immediately met with the smell of cigars. As it turns out, this place had a huge walk in humidifier and you are allowed to smoke even at the bar. Immediately fell in love with the ambiance and vibe. I ordered my usual, an ole fashioned. Sadly, this is the only reason this place doesn't get 5 solid stars. They used store bought bitters and some type of weird sweetener. They didn't smoke the cocktail either. In a place such as this they should be using smoke, house made bitters and better cherries. Loved the place just really let down on cocktail execution. My husband enjoyed a cigar and old fashioned while I had a lemon drop martini. The place was full of cigar smokers (10 in the back room I was in) and I don't smoke. We came by on a rare snow day in Oklahoma and while so many places were closed for business that day we were pleasantly surprised Stag was open. The smoke selection was pretty great. Partner had Blanton's on a rock and I asked for Pinot Grigio which they didn't have. I know it's probably an establishment more geared towards men, however, they are gonna bring their ladies along so a good wine selection would be wise. Pinot Grigio is less sugar-y than a Chardonnay (sugar = sicky wine headache for me) anyway I think I made do with a Chardonnay. The music was good and their was plenty of space for people to be apart. We only had a single drink since I didn't wanna drink too much Chardonnay but we did have a smoke and it was nice. I was in town for the night and was looking for a whiskey bar to visit. This came up and I decided to go. When you walk in you get hit with the earthy smell of cigar smoke. Then you get carded. After that I sat at the bar and was warmly welcomed by the staff. You will notice the extensive whiskey collection behind the bar and be stumped as to what to try. I love old fashions and whiskey sours so I went with the whiskey sour and was not disappointed. It was made perfectly with a good amount of whiskey. The vibe is very masculine but I'm into that. I came here for a first date. The bartenders and selection are outstanding....unlike my date. I'd give the date a 3. Not horrible, not great, just meh. First off if you love a cool place to go have a cocktail that's local in the neighborhood and close enough for you to drive to, this place covers all those bases. Then add a huge selection of cigars, and a ton of places to sit and enjoy a stick and a cocktail. They have a ton of bourbon and whiskey's which was right up my alley and what I really liked was the place was well ventilated so you did not walk in and get smashed by a cigar smoke, so think about bringing others that maybe aren't cigar smokers and they also could hang with you and have a great time. Super great people the staff behind the bar the people sitting around hanging out have a good time. I met one gentleman his name was Elvis and we chatted for 30 minutes about him and Elvis and my relationship with the king of rock 'n' roll and just had a great time. If you're in Oklahoma City up in the north end of Bricktown or anywhere around the ballpark you got to go if you like cigars and a great bar I'll be back that's for sure. read more

The cocktails are amazing. My husband had the house stag old fashion. He couldn't stop talking about it so we had to go back for a second night on our trip lol. The Stag wine is to die for. They have a pretty tiny food menu but man oh man is it good. We had the loaded fries and the tacos. Zero complaints. The bartenders are so friendly also. I didn't love the cigar smoke but I knew what I was signing up for when we went there. A+ suggestion. Definitely recommend. read more

Stag is the new gold standard in cigar bars located in Oklahoma City. The ambiance of a prohibition speakeasy returns to Historic Deep Deuce. Stag, Oklahoma City's premiere cigar bar, provides an elegant oasis for smokers and non-smokers to conduct business, enjoy a romantic evening, or catch up during an upscale night out with friends. Under new management, WSKY has reemerged as Stag, a high-end experience for cigar and whiskey fans. Stag serves craft cocktails and tapas, but will also feature high-end scotch, bourbon and whiskey. The expresso martini is not a happy hour option. It was $12, and it was excellent. I never order them, but always taste Jan's. This was the best expresso martini I've ever tasted. For food I ordered a chicken salad sandwich. It was good and I enjoyed it, but I'm not a fan of chicken salad with grapes in it. Jan ordered a hamburger that was very good.. we shared an order of pimento cheese fries that were excellent. The prices are good, the noise low. The atmosphere fun and relaxed. He let me try the steak and it was tender and delicious as well. I really don't eat fish or like fish, so the beef looked the best today. I would like to come back and try some of their brunch menu items as well such as the breakfast Ramen. This place is pretty expensive though, but the food is delicious. The inside was clean and we went early in the morning around 11 AM. I'm glad we went that early because in about an hour all the church crowd was coming in and alot of people came in. We got our food quickly too. Our server told us that if you like fish, they get fresh fish in every day there. Their fish dishes are ever frozen.

I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. My friends chose the Press Cobb and Breakfast Bomb. They were both very pleased and stated there was many options on the menu they would be interested in trying.

The issue was being charged $11 for each order of white rice without that ever being mentioned when I placed the order. If I had known white rice was $11 each, I never would have ordered it. I attempted to address the issue with the manager on duty, but the response I received was simply, "That's how much it costs." Rather than acknowledging the concern or discussing the lack of disclosure, the matter was dismissed. Just a really disappointing experience from a restaurant that's part of an otherwise great hotel.

One of the katsus was brought out early and the other two took some time. After the other two katsus came out, it was noticeable that the first one was probably refried, which made us think it was old and they didn't want to waste it. We also learned that our other friends said that when they went, the server told them that if there was anything they liked, they could ask for more to be brought to the table. Our server did not tell us this. And the sad part is that they actually took some dishes away from the buffet and didn't refill it, which was the salmon sashimi. Overall, I feel like the experience was disappointing and the advertising was misleading. There wasn't much fresh fish available, as one might think. Sounds like service isn't equal and great across the board. Some friends enjoyed the weekend lunch buffet, some other friends had the same experience we did.
