Came for alignment after I had bought tires a week ago. I did not have time for alignment when purchasing tires. First when I pulled up the gentleman told me they could not do camber on the truck just the toe and if the camber is off needs suspension parts, I brought a camber sleeve that you use to adjust it and told if you don't know how to use this take the car off the rack. I notice they had the camber sleeves hanging on a board in the alignment bay. So he was just lying to get me to spend a bunch of money on unneeded parts. So lying and dishonest. They have been in business since the 70s now they resorted to lying to steal your money . If you want good customer service, this is not the place for you. I walked into the office to pay for my service and was not greeted by the man who motioned me to the counter. He took my receipt, processed it and asked for me to enter my pin- all while making zero eye contact. I entered my pin and when he's done with my card, he put it on the counter- again, not a thank you, no eye contact. I asked him his name because his customer service skills appalled me. Through gritted teeth he states his name is Toto(?). Had his jaw not been clenched, I would have been certain of his name as I walked out. It was then, after I asked for his name, did he wish me a good afternoon. I called the store and spoke with Nick, the Co-owner, who apologized. If you want people to return to your shop, put the friendly staff up front and the others in the stock room. I will not be back, nor do I recommend this place. I used to go here all the time for tires on both of my vehicles. Never had a problem with the tire guys, so I decided to have a standard brake job done on my truck. In the brake area they use a platform type of lift which raises your vehicle by pushing up on each side from underneath. Needless to say the so called mechanic failed to notice I have nerf bars & lifted my truck up by the nerf bars which bent & loosened them up. They said they tightened them back up & was fine now. Yeh right. Hate having to deal with businesses who just want to take your money and don't care when they damage your property. Beware of unskilled laborers posing as mechanics. Will never give them any of my business again. I can buy new nerf bars but they can't buy common sense or ethics. It was Saturday morning when I called to get a quote for my car and my fianće's car. I have called multiple tire shops and other's quoted me 1000+ for 4 tires for his Toyota Camry, but Aj quoted us 600. I mean I didn't ask for further specs but still that's a steal. Anyways, my fianće felt that it was better for him to get his tires at Toyota, so after he dropped off his car at the dealership, they told him he will have to wait for 4 hours. So, for my car, I went to The Tire store. Let me tell you! They are amazing! Their Customer service was great. Aj was the one who helped me find the right tires for my car. Transaction was very smooth, I would definitely come back. And the price was great. For my Nissan Altima, I got a 16 inch Hankook tire, 90k miles for $550 then free alignment. Though at the end, I didn't needed the alignment, still that's a good price for everything, with great customer service with 45mins waiting compared to that 4 hours at Toyota. read more

My car was vibrating when braking. I brought my car here based on reviews I had read. I really appreciated how they did not try to pressure me into buying "extra" services. They did rotors on front tires and changed break pads. All done in an hour. Very polite. I went in this weekend, I needed my truck leveled and aligned. I was going to do it myself, but have no time. Joe the alignment guy, is probably one of the most knowledgeable and nicest people I have ever met. He explained everything, very helpful and nice. The guys that helped me were Joe, James, and Bruce, all really nice guys who know what they are doing...real pros. I told Joe I really want my steering to be dead center once done, and sure enough that's what I got. If there's one thing I value, it's efficiency. This place is unusually well oiled, no pun intended. This place was packed and crazy busy when I arrived. I didn't have an appointment, but I did have a very reasonable quote given to me through email for 4 Falken tires for my SUV. I was helped the second I walked in the door, and I finished paying for the job all in under 30 minutes. Also their quotes include parts, labor, and tax, so it's a no brainer. The tires were so well balanced, the famous Pathfinder "shimmy" disappeared, and the car tracks straight as an arrow with no steering wheel shake. If you really want peace of mind, compare their rates to Tirerack, which is also a great place to read reviews on individual models of tires. I will never go anywhere else for tires. read more

Our first experience at this establishment wasn't horrible. We were upsold a used tire because we were told that they would not patch one with a very small hole... ok...fine. About a year later we purchased a set of kumho tires...new. they lasted less than 6 months all the belts were showing. These tires were recommended by management. ....now we're annoyed... So finally in an emergency situation we stopped by to quickly replace a popped tire with a used one. We told them exactly which tire to replace. They REMOVED ALL 4 TIRES, SAID ALL OF THEM WERE BAD AND THEY COULDN'T REPLACE THE ONE. ...what? Then went through and had to physically show us the damage to the tires. FINALLY after demanding that they JUST DO WHAT WE ASKED THEM TO DO... they put on a dry-rotted used tire. The minute we pulled out the car was now wobbling. ...are you kidding me? All of this took over an hour. To swap ONE SINGLE TIRE. And we dealt with upselling and ridiculous speeches and procrastination...and in the end... I had to take the tire off MY SELF and put it back on right. *Update. that particular tire popped 2 weeks later...sidewall blow out. NEVER COME HERE. The reviews are written by friends and co-workers and their jobs are contingent on them. Now I get my tires from a scary store obviously run by gang member... all michelins.. all installed correctly. I called today to see if they had any specials on the Hankook brand tires as I have relied on this brand for about 6 years. Mind you i change my tires every two years on our commuter car regardless on the wear on them. I remain loyal to this store because they are truly a well ran business. A people friendly and pocket friendly business. Not many businesses like this. About the specials, i asked about the current price on the same tire i had. Mr. Nick said " yes it has a $50 dollar rebate"" but i can sell you a much better model of the same brand for $50 less" 70,000 mile rating vs 50,000. Sold ! I bought them. Thank You Guys. I needed a nail pulled and the tire plugged and patched. I'm in town on business so I googled for the closest place and this was it. I pulled up, saw they were busy and was prepared to wait, but I was asked if I needed help before I even made it to the door. They had the wheel off and were working on it in two minutes. A few texts and a phone call later and they were putting the wheel back on. They charged me EIGHT bucks. I felt bad for using my debit card. I immediately went on yelp to search for the closes tire shop and this place came up, it was less than a mile away. The guys there were fast and they explained everything very well to me. I had a little bit of a wait because it was crowded but, once they started I was out of there in about 10 minutes or so. I always come here! It's really the only place I trust here in the AV. They seem to be very honest and they're always reasonably priced. I had my brakes inspected this time because I kept hearing a squeaking noises when driving. After inspection the guy told me my back brakes were fine, just needed front brakes. It was about $130 for my 2012 Kia Sportage. Then I had my tires inspected and was told my tires were pretty close to replacing but only one tire was okay. I think my quote for all new tires was close to $400 but I passed cause I couldn't afford it. I think the wait for my brakes was about 30 mins not counting the inspections, so I was there in total for about 1hr 30mins which I thought was pretty good. All in all the service was good and the prices were decent so I will be coming back again. read more

Very personal and welcoming! The entire staff is so friendly and egar to answer any questions you might have. Prices are very affordable as a single mom of four kids I am always shopping around for a good deal but also quality and The Tire Store provides it all! The waiting room is filled with magazines and the TV is always and they'll change it for ya if you ask. I came for a wheel alignment and tire installation. My tire was not in stock and I still wanted the alignment without the tire. The man who does alignments said that I should get the alignment after the tire installation so I won't have to realign it. He could've charged me double coming back twice. I first went to the Tire Store a few years ago. I special ordered a set of Continental ExtremeContact DWS, they had the best prices in town by far. Now since we live in Palmdale we are closer to Affordable Tire and have been going there for all our tire needs. Recently, I was very upset because my husband called beforehand for a price to patch a tire and when we arrived in a nice car the guys at affordable tire charged us more. We called the Tire Store ahead of time and asked how much they would charge for pressure sensor replacement and when we arrived they charged us the same amount they quoted us! What a noble concept. Not only did we save an hour drive to the dealership, these guys were fast, helpful, and friendly. I had my one year old with me so I appreciate the speedy service. Highly recommend. read more
