This place is a joke. I brought 4 tires to this place which were brand new. They put them on my car and sent me on my way and the car shimmed so bad I almost went off the side of the road with my 3 year old in the car. Took it back and that's when they told me the tires r not able to be balenced. They forgot to put my hubcaps on my car and screwed up my lug nuts. I went back to we're I got the tires and they replaced them. When I went beck to tell them they screwed me out of 60 because they should of never put those on my car and let me leave the guy said yeah ur right and magically found my lug but. And then said we r not giving u the money because they were put on and balanced. They just walbled on the machine. He walked away again and came back and said we will not do anything for u because this is not r fault. Mean while there employees r laughing at me. Very disappointed after hearing good things about this place. When I called, i was quoted less than what I paid after only half of the work was done. My car drove straighter when I showed up than when I left. They were aware my car was lowered when they quoted me. I get my tires flipped at the Rosamond Tire store all the time and they charge half as much. Only reason for the three stars is because the respectful workers in the shop. If you have anything modified on your car expect to pay more and get taken advantage of. read more

I can not say enough about The Tire Store. I have been in there several times in the past couple months due to having issues with my commuter car. Bruce and the guys in the alignment shop checked it out and it was the wheel bearings. They changed 2 of the four and did an alignment on it also. A couple weeks prior to this being done I bought 4 new tires from Anthony. Everyone helped me out gave me good prices even tho I felt as if I had bought stock into The Tire Store still the best prices is town. Love this place will not take my cars, and truck anywhere else. The staff here were friendly, efficient and quick. I was sent to The Tire Store from Five-Star Auto Body (should be called Two-Star Auto Body, but that's a whole other review) and Geico after a little 'fender bender'. They greeted me as soon as I arrived, we had a quick discussion about the work, and they jumped right in. They replaced a damaged tire and corrected my alignment. They were unable to dial the alignment in perfectly due to some prior mechanical damage to my vehicle but they were up front, honest and informative. They did a quick test drive to verify that the defects/damage didn't cause the car to pull to either side. All in all, they did a good job and went the extra mile to take good care of me. I will be returning to The Tire Store next time I need new tires. read more

My tire was low and turns out it had a bolt in it. Drove to three places that were all closed before I came across The Tire Store. Thankfully they were opened. My tire couldn't be repaired but I also knew I was in need of a new set. Tony was very helpful and gave me a great price. My tires did need to be ordered was told they would arrive the following day. None the less, I was still in need of one tire in the mean time.... No problem! they let me borrow a tire until mine came in. Received a call that afternoon the tires came in early wooo hooo!!! This place has taken a steep downfall in the past few years. DON'T TRUST THEM. This workplace is basically filled with several scam artist, including the management and official owners. They add on fees and attempt to trick you into thinking your car is in danger. During my last visit I was having an issue with my Passenger side bearings and after taking several test drives they assured me that it was an issue on the PASSENGER side. When I arrived hours later they replaced my DRIVERS side bearing and claimed "I should definitely get the passenger side bearing replaced too since it's having issues as well". After several calls back and forth with management reassuring them that this was a problem on their end, I was met with rude remarks and was hung up on during several occasions. I still have yet to receive a refund. This is just one occasion that was handled poorly but I have spoken with several others that have had complications with The Tire Store as well. If you want quality service for a quality price, I recommend you visit some of the single man shops down the same street (Sierra Hwy) rather than supporting this rotten, scam filled business. read more

I have come here my entire life, as a kid with my dad and now with my cars, but to be honest, my last couple visits have been subpar experiences so I feel I must say something so others don't run into the same issues. First of all a couple months ago I went in to address a suspension popping noise, I let the tech drive the car and look at in on the rack, he said my spring was shifting on its perch, so I replaced it with a brand new set of coilovers, and it did not fix the problem whatsoever. Great diagnostic skills!!! Then I go to the shop, weary, a couple months later and get new tires installed on custom wheels. My wheels have very nice lugnuts as well ( muteki neo chrome ), anyways the young man takes the lugs off with a torque wrench as he should, BUT when he put the wheels back on, he used the gun!!!! As soon as I saw I went outside and said something about him not using the torque wrench and he said, "um, well the gun wasn't doing any damage so I decided to use it, cause whatever is on those lugs is bada**, it wasn't phased at all"!!!! I seriously couldn't believe his response, and his buddy standing next to him to told him no your supposed to use the torque wrench and then he started to tell him the same excuse he told me. FIRST OF ALL, how do you know it wont do damage without trying it!!!! Which you shouldn't have even done in the first place!!!! The lugnuts literally cost more than the tire mounting and balancing, AND to top it all off he left my wheels and tires filthy with a white milky residue all over the rim face and tires, NEVER GO HERE IF YOU HAVE CUSTOM WHEELS!!!!!!! read more

These guys are awesome. I took my black Si hatchback in for tires and I've had bad luck with my lugs seizing to my studs on multiple instances. Before anything was done about it they checked with me first to make sure it was ok, clarifying any price changes or extra time it would take and were beyond generous on the end price. I had a flapping noise coming from my front right tire area when driving up 14 to Lancaster job. I came into Palmdale thinking I could make it to the Midas. Well, Midas is closed down so I thought I'd go to Toyota Lancaster Dealer where I bought my Pirus 3 years ago. I was somewhat stressed by the time I got to dealer service but relieved knowing they could tell me what is going on. I pull up to service bay/line at 1030am on a Thursday. By accident I pulled up in appointment line.... not the "non" appointment line. Service woman came rushing towards me pointing at me with a raise voice telling me to back up and get in the other line... that I was cutting in front of everyone... She never gave me eye contact, no smile..just very unwelcoming... Didn't say another word to me..... Then I sat for 15 to 25 minutes with no one telling pls wait it will be a while or anything. In fact the 10 or 15 people working there seemed to purposely not give me eye contact or check on me. Just terrible customer service and no leadership out there. Finally someone came up to me. She was friendly then handed me off to the person that would help me the rest of the way. He was great. I took the shuttle to work then got a call around 2pm telling me the tread on my tire is bad and I needed new tires and an alignment. Even though the one helping me was great I just didn't want to give my business to them because of the first impression service I got. Came back to dealership got my car. No charge for telling me the problem. I immediately went to the Tire Store on Sierra Highway. They hooked me up with 4 new tires and also told me I didn't need an alignment. I will never go back to the dealership for servicing my three cars (family of 7) or buy my next car there. Which I'm right now looking to buy a toyota corolla for my 17 year old. Reasons not to go back...... One for the first impression customer service (everyone there looked like they hated their job when I got there and that they told me I needed an alignment when I didn't. I'm going to have to write a bad review unfortunately. Their communication sucks. I was estimated a total of 240 to get my front struts replaced and a wheel alignment. When i turned my car in they didn't call me until 2hrs+ later to say they ordered the wrong parts so I did not get any work done that day. I came back 5 days later, they re-ordered the parts and said it would arrive at 10:30am, it did not arrive until 12pm. Once they started they said it should take 45 mins to complete, it took almost 3hrs and somehow my price was raised +120$ . I was not told BEFORE they started working on my car that the price was significantly raised, I was told once they were pretty much done. I can say they were okay with reducing a few bucks because of the miscommunication on their part but I definitely would not recommend anyone to come here and I will not be returning. Not only that but once I got my car they said they didn't get to finish something because someone "shut the air pump off" while they were still doing the job. read more

I used these guys once for a quick repair, and they seemed cool so I went back when I needed a whole new set. As soon as I rolled up there were about four guys just standing around out front. One guys starts motioning for me to pull up to a certain spot, so I start to; seconds later another guy is motioning to me to park in a different spot, and then starts yelling at me when I didn't. These guys are gruff and rude, and obviously not happy with their chosen line of work. They serve a small, tight-knit community. This doesn't serve them well. For the record, I took my business to Mike's Tire in Valencia, and they hooked me up with a whole new set of tires for my truck, gave me a great deal, and got me out of there quick...oh...and they were nice to me. read more

They have never sold me anything I didn't need and always do safety checks on my vehicle and if they feel it needs attention they will let me know and their prices are fair if not great. I've been coming to The Tire Store since high school. Its the only place I know where they do wheel alignments by hand. They were fast and always courteous. As years went by, I now have my profession. Recently, the customer service has dwindled. The class of workers has gone down and you don't get that hometown feeling anymore. It's all business. I sent my wife to get an alignment. They made her wait two hours. She watched GUYS jump ahead of her. Once they did the alignment, they didn't even tell her if it needed the correction (they always do when I'm there). I called the Manger Nick (i think that's his name). I told him about the issue and my concern with the lack of customer service. He told me okay, then we hung up (WOW). Good Luck guys. You lost a good customer. I came from 200 miles out of town and really needed tires. Had someone recommend The Tire Store in Lancaster CA and so I went there. I got a great quote on some tires so we were happy. I dropped off our SUV and said I would be back around 4 to pick it up. 1 hour after dropping it I got the first call. Had a damaged lug/bolt that was loose and needed to be repaired for $35.00. We had not noticed any problems or damage before taking it in but of course I had them fix it. My husband, having worked in mechanics early in his life knows that the impact wrenches they use to take off the tires can do this sort of damage. So we likely paid for them to fix damage they themselves inflicted. 30 minutes after the first call they called back and said it was ready and I could pick it up anytime. Although... the tire pressure sensors for the two rear tires could not be reset and they must have not been working before I brought it in. This was absolutely not true! As a matter of fact they had always worked correctly UNTIL I took the SUV to their shop. They said they could repair the 2 broken tire pressure sensors for $180.00. My husband called to question them because he knows that the sensors are located at the bottom of the valve stems and he thought they likely damaged them when replacing the tires. They denied this called my husband back an hour later and said the problem was fixed at no charge. I picked up the SUV and on my way home the tire pressure sensor came back on and has not gone off since. My husband looked at the tires upon my arriving home and they had indeed changed the valve stem on one of our rear tires and this is the reason the sensor will not go off. I DO NOT RECOMMEND these guys!!! Any honest shop would not break something and then argue with the customer that it was broken before it was brought in and they certainly would not charge to repair damage they inflicted themselves. My husband believes they took out our working sensor and put in a defective one in order to get us to purchase replacements. read more
