My husband has been trying to get me to go here for some time now. It was a really cool looking place with lots of aviation memorabilia. You can sit, eat, drink and watch planes take off from the airstrip. Everyone was super friendly and our waitress was very tentative. I got a mimosa with their AMAZING Huckleberry Crunch French Toast. I asked without granola. It also came with 2 eggs of your choice. It was so so good. My husband always gets the cheeseburger and says it is his favorite. I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. This place is special. The menu is just the right size offering all day breakfast and lunch. I've had the cheese burger, grilled chicken sandwich, adult grilled cheese--delicious! My only two complaints, the rolls for the bread were inconsistent the times I have gone. They are made locally which is amazing. BUT one time the buns were small and dense in texture. The other time, sized well and soft. My second complaint, the coffee is terrible. That said, the service was quick and friendly. Great service, great people. but... 1) Asked for no red onions and even though I removed them my 172 burger still tasted like red onions. Almost gagged me. Menu items with red onions should say "red onions" not "onions." What a gem of a restaurant! Food: 4/5. The breakfast food was pretty good. We started with the Idaho Sunrise mimosas. I felt it could've used more huckleberry flavor, but was good for a mimosa. The breakfast tacos were absolutely phenomenal and definitely something I would recommend. The biscuits and gravy, and the avocado toast were both good. Honestly had no idea this place existed until two weeks ago. Brought my work truck in for a repair and decided to find a breakfast spot to kill some time waiting. When looking at Yelp, this came up and caught my eye. So off we went to try a new to us place. Took me a minute to realize this was upstairs in the terminal building, but what a unique and cool place to sit outside on a rather pleasant day and enjoy watching all the small aircraft taking off and landing. Our order included the Chorizo Omelette for myself and Lara ordered the Avacado Toast. Orange juice and Coffee as well. The Avacado toast was two large portion slices of bread, and Lara took one piece home for round two. The Omelette, in my fashion, was a hearty portion but only a one time deal. Everything had exceptional taste and well prepared by the team in the kitchen. The orange juice was very fresh tasting and the coffee topped everything off for me. As a hobbyist photographer, I look forward to coming back to eat again and hopefully get a close table to the runway to practice capturing the planes as they pass by. read more

We went for the first time when celebrating my husband's birthday. They were really busy, but got us seated right away and were super friendly. All the staff were great, and they gave him a free (delicious!) cinnamon roll for his birthday. All of our food was phenomenal; from the oatmeal to the breakfast burrito and huckleberry French toast. What a fun and unique experience to enjoy a meal in a tower overlooking a small airfield. I could see pilots gassing up their plane and saw a student pilot come in as well. The space is small inside but there's also an outdoor patio. They give a discount for military. The food was pretty good. I got biscuits and gravy and my partner got the chicken fried steak. We came on a Friday about 1:15 pm for lunch. I chose Tower Grill based on the reviews. I thought it would be fun to sit and watch the planes take off and land. I didn't know where exactly the restaurant was located but we were headed from Star to Nampa for errands so I thought, let's give it a try. It is located within the grounds of the Nampa Municipal Airport, almost next to the Warhawk Air Museum. It is a small building and the restaurant is upstairs. I don't know what I was expecting but it is a very small and plain indoor dining area with outdoor seating as well. On a warm day the outdoor seating would be very cool. We grabbed a window table. One plane, most likely a student, was practicing take offs and landings. From our table we only saw the take offs. We saw a few other planes taxiing, otherwise the airport was pretty quiet. The servers were nice young women. One got us our drinks and took our food order. Another delivered the food. After the food was delivered, no one came back to check on us. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. I had the fries and my wife the sweet potato fries. We liked the fries but my sandwich and the fish were just OK. I'm glad we tried the Tower Grill but I don't think we'll be back. read more

I came here with my buddies. It was pretty good, the drive wasn't bad at all. Our waitress was nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I got the 2-egg breakfast. My eggs were over easy and were cooked great. The bacon was a little undercooked. I like my bacon crispy and it was more flimsy. Plus it was pretty white.
