8/10 but the vibe and views make it a 10/10. Food portions are great. Taste is good. The potatoes felt overcooked but they were still good. Would definitely come back.

Best breakfast in the Treasure Valley! Everything is so fresh and high quality. Prepare for a flavour explosion. It's amazing and the their service is top notch! Plus you have a clear view of the Nampa airport, plane's landing and taking off. Very entertaining!

What a gem of a restaurant! Food: 4/5. The breakfast food was pretty good. We started with the Idaho Sunrise mimosas. I felt it could've used more huckleberry flavor, but was good for a mimosa. The breakfast tacos were absolutely phenomenal and definitely something I would recommend. The biscuits and gravy, and the avocado toast were both good. We didn't order the burrito, but saw someone else get it. It was HUGE and looked amazing! Service: 5/5. The service was top-notch and everyone was great! We got seated right away and our food came quickly. Atmosphere: 5/5. This was a bit of a drive for us but absolutely worth it! We sat outside and watch the planes takeoff and land. It was so much fun and the kids loved it! Kid friendly: 5/5. They have highchairs and a kids menu. The kids also loved watching the planes. This place is a must! Such a fun atmosphere and delicious food!

Honestly had no idea this place existed until two weeks ago. Brought my work truck in for a repair and decided to find a breakfast spot to kill some time waiting. When looking at Yelp, this came up and caught my eye. So off we went to try a new to us place. Took me a minute to realize this was upstairs in the terminal building, but what a unique and cool place to sit outside on a rather pleasant day and enjoy watching all the small aircraft taking off and landing. Our order included the Chorizo Omelette for myself and Lara ordered the Avacado Toast. Orange juice and Coffee as well. The Avacado toast was two large portion slices of bread, and Lara took one piece home for round two. The Omelette, in my fashion, was a hearty portion but only a one time deal. Everything had exceptional taste and well prepared by the team in the kitchen. The orange juice was very fresh tasting and the coffee topped everything off for me. As a hobbyist photographer, I look forward to coming back to eat again and hopefully get a close table to the runway to practice capturing the planes as they pass by.

Amazing food absolutely amazing service is great. I got the chicken fried steak and the onion rings or beer battered there to die and it's a beautiful view. You could see the planes

This is just a really cool experience for one. I have sat inside and I've sat outside and both are great. you can hear the pilot shatter on the speakers and watch the planes takeoff and land as you eat. The servers are so friendly and on top of things.....the food was amazing both times. We had the Reuben and the grilled chicken sandwich.. onion rings were bomb as were the fries.

The staff is so nice and the food is delish! It's a small little spot so either get there early or expect a wait but it's worth it for the vibe. 10/10 will be back.

What a delightful little spot! It's vintage inside and right along a run way so you can watch the planes take off and land! I wish I got our servers name, but she was a doll. It seems everyone who works here is really sweet. My husband and I both had the grilled chicken sandwich, his was "CA style" (bacon & avocado) - they were SO good!! This place is a gem and I'm so glad we went and checked it out! Already planning to come back with my parents!

First time going to the Tower.. as we wanted to see the newest Exhibit to the Warhawk Museum land... A-10 Warthog First off the people who work there were friendly along with the service. The food was very good. We will be coming back here as its nice to seat on the outdoor patio watching the planes. We did feel rushed as we were just finishing when the plane was flying over.

It was about 1:45 pm on a Friday, and the place was fairly crowded. We were sat at a small booth for two, not my favorite table, but understandable that they would want to save their tables and booths for four for larger parties. It's very loud, hard to talk, so in tha sense the small booth we were in, set apart from the main seating area, was better for my wife and I to talk. Our server was Yulia, and she was delightful. Very nice, efficient, and attentive. Great service! We both had the classic burger, mine with the sharp cheddar it comes with, my wife sans cheese. 100% Wagyu beef, and cooked very nicely at medium. The bun was large and soft, very tasty and great texture. The fries were delicious; crispy and well seasoned, just great. They have a fry sauce that tasted like it had a bit of horseradish. I really liked it. Prices are very reasonable. In fact, I just had a burger at a nice restaurant in downtown Boise last week that had a smaller patty and bun, and cost $3 more. We will definitely be back to Holy Cow.

I ended up ordering a chicken chimichanga and an enchilada, and both were absolutely delicious--so good that I've already asked my friend if she wants to go back again tonight. We also ordered drinks, and those were just as enjoyable. The staff took great care of us, checking in and making sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Overall, such a great experience and definitely a spot I'll be coming back to. Tons of places to sit whether you're a small party or a big one. Within seconds, I received a text that my order had been received, but not confirmed, and to watch for a confirmation text. After 30 minutes, I still had not received a confirmation text, so I messaged asking for an approximate time. The reply stated they were "slammed" and that my order would be ready in about 30 minutes. After another 45 minutes, I still had not received any communication from them, so I decided to walk over to check on my order, hoping that it would be ready. The first thing I noticed was that there were not a lot of customers inside. I informed the server behind the bar that I was there to pick up my order, and she went back to check. When she returned, she told me that there were no pickup orders. I showed her the email with my order number and told her that I never received a confirmation from them. She went back into the kitchen, then came back and said they didn't have my order, but could make it while I waited - about 10 minutes. I reluctantly agreed and waited. When I got my order, I asked for a few extra cups of sauce. The server was put off, as if asked to perform an overwhelming task. Needless to say, I left the establishment with a less-than-favorable taste in my mouth. 24 hours later, I received a text from them that my order was confirmed and would be ready to be picked up. I texted back that this was 24 hours late and to cancel the order. The reply was that their texting service was unavailable, and to call for questions. I then replied to the confirmation email, hoping that would get through to them. No such luck. The reply I received said that delivery had failed - that their email box was full. I will say that the food was good, and that the server was mainly friendly. However, the whole online ordering system needs some serious revamping. I hope that Whiskey River will take this review as constructive criticism so that future customers will have an easier, smoother online ordering experience.
