Probably my favorite breakfast spot in Eagle. Food has always tasted great & consistent. They probably have the best restaurant latte around! The converted church building really offers a unique look and great atmosphere. Comfortable and relaxing seating inside and out. Generally quick and friendly service but they do get busy so expect a bit of a wait on weekends, etc. Cost is a little above average and the parking can be a challenge when they're busy as well. read more

My sister wanted to go to brunch today in my area. I suggested Rembrandts. I had such a great experience there last time so I thought it would be a good spot to eat at this morning. I headed over and got there before my sister did. I wanted to eat outside today but it was so busy on the patio. I opted to sit inside instead. The sweet hostess got a table for us and I chilled till my sister for there. Kylie took care of us today. She was serving a few tables so it took her a couple minutes to get to me. I got an iced americano started while I was waiting. I asked for sugar free hazelnut and room for cream. Coffee came out shortly. It looked nice and rich in color from the espresso. There wasn't a lot of room for cream so I did drink it black to create some room. The room would have been nice. I added the cream and took another swig of my drink. I noticed that the sugar free hazelnut wasn't present. I flagged Kylie down and asked for a side of the syrup. The side of syrup was dropped off. I added it to my drink and hung out till my other half popped up. To be honest, adding the syrup was a big mistake. I don't know what kind of sugar free syrup they use but it was awful. I have had sugar free hazelnut syrup before but this was bad. I told Kylie about the drink. We swapped it out for hot coffee. It's not what I really wanted but it was a lot better than my original drink. My sister finally showed up and we got our orders taken. For brunch I ordered the sausage lovers scramble. I requested less sausage and more spinach. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich to go for my husband. I couldn't leave him out. Food was finally dropped off and by the looks of our plates, you can tell they have been sitting for a while. When gravy has been sitting for a while, it creates a dull film over it. This dullness was over my sister's gravy. My scramble was not hot but slightly warm. The parmesan cheese was hard from cooling. And the scramble tasted mehhh. It wasn't good but it wasn't awful. I ate about a fourth of it and was over it. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast sammy. The croissant looked fluffy and golden. The cheese was perfectly melted on the egg. It also came with a nice piece of ham. I'm happy my husband enjoyed his breakfast. I had such high hopes for today's experience to be as amazing as my first visit. Kylie did a great job dealing with my coffee, checking up on us and getting my husband's to go taken care of. Unfortunately my food was a fail today. Disappointing to be in such a beautiful venue and not have the food match it's beauty. I do hope my next visit won't be anything like today's. read more

The brunch was delicious! Great atmosphere & a brunch menu filled with so many choices for everyone!! While the food took some time to come out, it was well worth the wait.. we had the meat lovers scramble, corned beef hash, kids French toast, kids sliders & one thing that was so delicious, it was gone before I could even get the camera out.. the STICKY BUN!! Attention VISITORS!!!! Tourists.....THIS is THE best restaurant in the area. Sit at the counter, or large area of restaurant....or in summer, spring and fall on the patio. We began eating here as our regular spot, two years before moving from North Idaho to this area. We have had almost 80% of the menu. Great breakfasts, sandwiches, burgers, dinners. Meat from a local ranch. Five PLUS stars to the staff!! So nice, not pushy, always looking out for the customers. You can see they get along and enjoy working here. Great atmosphere in an old church. Sat at the bar for breakfast so I didn't get the full sense of it--but a fun place to be in. Great friendly service. Excellent latte and a good basic breakfast (Larry's breakfast). Tasty food. Probably would have done a 5th star if there's been a little more of the scrambled eggs. Technically might have been 2--but when I make 2 scrambled eggs at home there's definitely more than this. All said, I'd go back and enjoy working around the menu a bit. Love this charming place! I have thought about it over the years since my parents passed because they loved it, but I had forgotten where it was or even if it was still around and I found it and went there today. Great avocado Benedict on a croissant with crispy breakfast potatoes. I brought home a salad that sounds amazing with a maple balsamic dressing. The place can get busy especially on the weekend, but I went there around 1:30 and it was easy to get a seat. they are now open for dinner so I'm curious about their menu and will definitely stop by. read more

Great morning at Rembrandts. Hadn't tried the breakfast bowls before. I had the Brussels and Sweet Potato Hash. It was delicious. Loved all the roasted vegetables. Everything was very fresh. Loved the poached apples. The over easy yolks were nice to give everything a bit of sauce to bring it all together. My friends had the Harvest Bowl and they enjoyed those as well with the smashed sweet potato, bacon and avocados. Definitely coming back to try the Breakfast Tacos or one of the Benedict options. Prices are reasonable and actually less expensive than some of the other places we have tried recently. Hard to find a meal for under $20 now a days sadly. read more

Went there with my lady on a Saturday for lunch as a neighbor kindly gave us a gift certificate. We were quickly and kindly greeted then sat on the patio. Our waiters were two, one a trainee. We ordered a Rueben for me and a burger for my lady. Our food took no less than 25 mins to arrive, we were starving. My onion rings were room temp and soggy/limp so I promptly sent them back to be redone. My Rueben had very little meat which was crispy?!?!? I'm assuming they throw it on a flattop but it was dry as paper, the sauerkraut was on half of it none on other half. I completely finished my sandwich, pushed the plate to the side of table then maybe 10-15 mins later the redone rings arrived when we were both done with main meals... not a word for the trainer waiter. This was the 2nd time out of 3 visits there that I've had a very poor experience there. Management is highly lacking which is a shame as the location and building are great. Would definitely NOT recommend until new ownership comes in. read more

This elegant little restaurant had become a fan favorite in our household. Rembrants had everything you could hope for. Coffee, wine, beer, food, and desserts. The servers are always kind, accomodating, and friendly. We thoroughly enjoy the salads and sandwiches. The steak fingers are also surprisingly delicious. I've had many that tend to be tough and chewy but that is not the case here. With just the right amount of breading and tenderness, they're a pleasant treat when you're looking for something a little more hearty. We thoroughly enjoy the simplicity and genius behind the food selection on the menu, while sipping on a cappuccino or latte. The patio is also a must in the summertime. I would argue it is one of the best in Eagle. If you find yourself downtown in this quaint city, don't miss the opportunity to give Rembrandts a shot. read more

First time eating here after hearing so many good things about it. Clean, remodeled space that is roomy and nice. A little loud but that comes with the old church space. Not a big deal. Service was friendly and quick. Food came quick even with a full house. We had the pork breakfast quesadilla and the breakfast burrito with white gravy on the side. They were both delicious and huge, had to take half of each home. The cream on the quesadilla and gravy were excellent. Want to try the lunch here before considering the fifth star but not far off from it as it stands now. read more

What a great way to spend a nice Thursday night, out on the patio enjoying the City of Eagle! Food: 4.5/5. To start we got the brisket grilled cheese sticks. We honestly did not know what to expect. It came with a side of a huckleberry sauce. They were good, but something I could have done without. Both entrees were pretty good! The chicken and waffles is definitely filling and mouthwatering. The avocado chicken burger was a typical chicken burger. Service: 5/5. We had a great waitress that was very friendly and let us know there was only 8 minutes left of happy hour. Speaking of happy hour, this place has great happy hour prices! Atmosphere: 4/5. I love the inside, but since it was a nice day we decided to sit outside. I love a good patio! There is some construction going on across the street (I know it's not Rembrandts fault) which deters from the ambiance. The outside chairs are also large and noisy when moving. Kid friendly: 3/5. There were some older kids on the outside patio. There are some things on the menu that kids would like. I do think it's a restaurant geared more towards adults. read more

We have always had great breakfasts here. This morning we must have had a brand new waitress. Terrible service. Had to ask another waitress for coffee. Ours just want attentive at all. A). Had to beg for coffee B). Never checked on us to see if food was ok or if we'd like a second cup of coffee C) had to beg for the bill so we could leave D). The total of the bill for two people was over $60 ( no alcohol) E) had to ask to look at the bill, instead of just a bottom line on the hand held computer. That took another 10-15 minutes while she ignored us and serviced other tables. F) when we finally got a printout of the bill, the price dropped approximately $20, ????? Not only was the food way better than I expected- but the service, environment and whole experience was much better than our last breakfast outing at another local institution. The chicken fried steak wasn't breaded, and the homemade gravy with a touch of spice was just right. The chorizo Benedict and its spiced potatoes was darn near perfect! We just found a new favorite place! Hubs and I have wanted to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! There's a really cute dining area inside but we sat on the patio because the weather was perfect. We started with the brisket grilled cheese sticks which were tooooo good. If one person ordered that it's a meal in itself! I had the turkey avocado club which was perfect and huge! I took half home. Hub had the wild game meatloaf sandwich and it was SO good. Stopped by for a delicious Saturday breakfast. Their food was delicious. All three of could not be happier. In addition the coffee is excellent though the thick mugs cause me to dribble. In the past we had concern about the hash being undercooked. We made a po t to ask for them well done. Before the plate came out the waitress stopped it at the kitchen and told them the hash browns need to be cooked more. What amazing service. Came here for breakfast on a Thursday morning. Sat inside because of the heat. Decor is more upscale, with nice wood furniture and it almost seems like the building might have been a church at one time, with windows shaped for stained glass and an area that could have once service as the altar. The booth area could stand to have the cushions replaced as they are uncomfortable. Our server was very nice and provided excellent service. I had the chorizo scramble and it was delicious, but I wouldn't have minded a larger portion. My wife had the Larry's standard breakfast and was satisfied. They have an outdoor seating area that would be wonderful with cooler temperatures. We will return. read more

The warm atmosphere inside to the open patio with a large gas fireplace is very inviting! The food is large proportion for the cost. The avocado toast was fresh, topped with a delicious salad and picked onions, I added two eggs my way and it was perfectly made to order. The kids meals are huge! The waffles, eggs and bacon were a fan favorite for my 5 year old! The vanilla latte hit the spot in the sunshine from the large church windows!
