Fun spot, to sit outside right underneath the tram! It's during Oktoberfest and we chose to dine here away from all the hustle. The servers were having a good time, bartenders laughing about with everyone. Nothing beats a mountain resort. The fall colors were in full effect. We only had two drinks and the naan bread spread. Our group had been unable to try out the notorious Tram Club until post pandemic. While our expectations may have been high, we were rather disappointed after our visit. We had heard rumors of great deals from previous years, of which we encountered only offers on the lower end beers and crappy shot options. Pool table was available, but just your standard sub par bar pool table. Otherwise, drinks are fine. Nothing special there. While the seating area was generous, it was not very busy and food options were limited in hours and options. Surrounding long-term resort staff we discussed with had even expressed disappointment on the quality of the club compared to pre pandemic. read more

The Tram Club is a massive disappointment since reopening under new ownership. The tap beer selection is meager and mediocre. The only good beer is an Amber; both of the IPAs were just bad, and so was the Lager. The calling card for Tram Club as of 4 years ago used to be a beer and a shot for $5 (10oz PBR and rail liquor of your choice). It's now $10. Perhaps the worst part was the service, which used to be the hallmark of Tram Club. Our bartender couldn't have been less attentive or more disinterested. At one point a fellow patron asked him, "how do you like working here?" He said "eh, it beats sitting at home." He was very difficult to flag down and every request seemed like a huge burden. The band that played was bad, too, and people were looking around at each other in disbelief. I want the old Tram Club back. read more

Has been getting worse and worse every year since new ownership. The manager looks like the most unhappy, pissed off person working. -recently stayed at Utah with a group of 8 people. We went to bar at 6pm to have some drinks on a Friday night. The bar closed before the restaurant... Snowbird is not a late night resort but closing only true bar at 7pm is crazy. We sat at bar and waitress said I will provide last call....for 10 minutes we watched her text on phone or laugh with manager. She then comes over and says sorry we are closed. She then serves table behind us. Will be telling everyone to take a short drive to alta for proper service and drinking. Until the tram club has a new manager that is engaged and excited to work they will continue to lose customers. read more

4/5 for being a bar at a ski resort. First time being in Utah so compared to Brighton lounge they have. I would prefer the Brighton lounge since it has window to look out and see people ski. This tram club doesn't have any windows at all BUT they do have a live band playing so that's cool. I didn't get food but my margaritas where great! They have pizza, fries, wings ! A lot of options especially for picky eaters. I was sitting at the bar and the servers where so nice and as soon as I was done with my drink, offered me other one. read more

My lovely partner and I stopped in here on one of our camp trips We wanted to find a nice cool spot to have a drink to get out of the sun We went on a short walk after this place and enjoyed the flowers and canyon. The staff was very friendly they even offered to move the umbrella shade some so that we could either be in the sun some or out of the sun so that was nice. We got mixed drinks and quesadilla was around 9$ it was a little over priced as far as the food goes but it was enough to share so that saved us money in the long run. Menu: see pictures. Bar tender is not at all friendly when you just walk in after a 4 hour flight, 45 minute drive through inclement weather and then finally check into your room and walk to the only open spot to be greeted with "we close in 15 minutes". "Hello" and/or "welcome" would have been nice. Beyond that I ask, so, tell me about this awesome giant gear in the center of the room. The reply "it's been here as long as it's been here". Well thank you for that 411. No history or "I don't know". As a tourist in a tourist spot, I would like to hear a little history or nugget of information about the cool space I am in. By the way, this review would be a 5 if only for the venue. The service was a .5 so 3 is the average. This was by far the best late night food and drink after fun, long day of hitting the slopes. The patio outside with the live music was the most relaxing thing up at Snowbird. When I found out it closed my heart sank like I lost a loved one. The times and friends made up there will last a lifetime. I hope that the big wigs up there can figure something out because the remaining restaurants and bars aren't near as inviting and social. Not everyone can afford a $70 steak after just spending $100's to ski and then stay at the hotel. If you don't bring the Tram Bar Back please bring something comparable back. We as Utah need to see our Jazz, Utes, and any other sport play on the big screens. Sunday football and a pint sitting on the patio was some of the best times I've ever had as well. Please make Snowbird better and not a save up for a whole year for one trip place. read more

Holy 80s, the decor in here is straight out of a bad movie. We took a shuttle here from the Cliff Lodge (after being told a few times we could walk it, we were glad we didn't) because El Chanate closed at 11 and we were told Tram Club is open til 1 am. Turns out, not true either. They closed up at 12, sadness. You can get a well shot for around $4 and a beer for $1 more, which is an amazing price considering you're at a resort and they have the upper hand. Definitely cheaper than El Chanate. We had the nachos and at $8, I was expecting a little more than the gas station variety, but when you're drunk-eating, flavor doesn't matter a whole lot. Had my first jaeger-bomb here. It was fab. Overall, best place to go party at snowbird, but mostly because there's not a lot of other options available. read more

I was already up at snowbird and needed pac 12 network, I could watch it via WiFi but decided to head over, the 5 dollar deal of a draft beer plus a shot was awesome, I had a few of those. Most of the food seems to be fried previously frozen food, but it's drunk food up in the mountains and not outrageous in price, so I'm OK with it. I will be back again. Plus my server was very attentive and very easy on the eyes , her smile and attitude was great. read more

The Tram Club is the place all the locals* go to get their drink on at Snowbird. It's under the tram, and you can see some of the tram wheels from the bar. They've got a stage for live bands, and also do karaoke. They also occasionally have some kick-ass drink specials, like $1 beer with a shot, which can get you seriously messed up. Not that I'm speaking from experience... They've also got pool, foosball, and a bunch of TVs if it's game time. Oh, and it's pretty easy to guess that this is the place to be, since it's the only bar at Snowbird your complimentary membership cards from staying at the lodge there won't get you into. * "Locals" at a ski resort, especially one where the actual locals are Mormon and thus don't drink, means the resort employees, who always know how to have a good time after loading beginners onto lifts every day. read more

The worst experience we've ever had in a bar! We came up for a stay and play package at Snowbird. All the bars in the Cliff Lodge close at 10:00, which was about the time we got out of the hot tub after having dinner at The Aerie. We decided to head down to the Tram because someone in our group said it was open later, so we could get a drink there. When we got there we decided to go out to the patio, because one person in the party wanted to sit outside. Once we sat down we noticed the bar outside seemed to be closing. So I went up and asked the bartender if that was the case, she said "yes, but we have servers, so I'll send one over to get your order." I said "great". The waitress came over and took our order. Before we were finished with the drink, it started to get a little chilly so we moved inside. Once we sat down the waitress that served us outside said that wasn't her section and we need to close out the ticket with her and the new waitress would be over to take our order. We complied with her request. She pointed out our new waitress and said Kelly will be serving you. We sat there for about 30 minutes watching her walk back and forth in front of us waiting on other tables. The whole time she didn't even look at us, or even acknowledged that we were there. The next five times she walked by we tried to flag her down to wait on us with no acknowledgement--WHATSOEVER. One of the guys sitting with us went up to our previous waitress asking her if she could wait on us, because the other girl was clearly not interested. We even tried to flag down another person that worked there, she told she was just helping out....but she wasn't working...really?! Holly our previous waitress agreed to get us drinks and apologized. I told her she was very sweet and we all thanked her. The manager came over and I told her how the other girl was extremely unprofessional. She proceeded to tell me if I didn't approve we didn't need to be there. We all just looked at each other. We finished our drinks and Holly asked if we wanted to check out. We said yes. I paid the bill which had a sad face and the word "sorry" on it. I gave her a 20.00 tip off of a 54 dollar bill, for being so nice and apologizing for the other waitress' behavior. When we got up to leave the wait staff and their cronies started clapping as if they were extremely happy we were leaving. When I turned around after asking for a napkin at the bar, the manager Jackie was standing behind me doing a complete stare-down like she was completely disgusted. We did nothing wrong!!!!....Who are these people and where did the come from??? Holly, all we have to say is, you're to good for that place and you should work elsewhere! We had a party of four come in after a long day of Oktoberfest and we were seated quickly. It was pretty busy but not busy enough for a wait to be seated. It took awhile for the server to greet us and just asked if we know what we wanted to eat although there was no menu. So she gave us Luke warm water with no ice and we asked for a menu. She gave us one menu for the whole table so we had to take turns with it. When she came back for our order we didn't have a chance for everyone to see it. She rarely came back after, not even for drink refills. It's unfortunate, we had money to spend but they didn't seem like they wanted it. It seemed like their priority were the employees. read more

I took my brother in for lunch and a beer on Christmas day where she insulted us 3 times told us to move because she refused to serve us. We did nothing wrong just wanted a snack... I wasn't even buying myself anything but she still made it a point to ruin Christmas for my brother and I! Only reason why I'm not giving 4 stars is because I went unnoticed for a solid period of time while waiting for a drink at the bar AND they charged $4 to add Chili to my nachos, and it was literally served in a 2 oz condiment cup. The nachos were delivered to me very quickly and were pretty good. The outside patio is soo beautiful, and there was live music on the Saturday that I was there. Location, under the tram is perfect. A must go to when staying at Snowbird. The only thing I will say that was bad was it is dark, like basement dark. No windows to the outside world. My husband and I love this place! Fun spot for some drink and appetizers. During the summer the patio is gorgeous and they have live bands!

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. It's dim and has such a cozy feeling. There are tv's all around for sports watching. There's also a really nice fireplace that comes in handy when you want to warm up. The first day we came in here, we were ID'ed and the ID's were in the car so we were told we had to leave. The second day we came in here with our ID's and the waitress never asked to see them. That was kind of annoying. I ordered the fish n chips. The fish was halibut, but don't expect anything fancy to come out. The fish tasted very processed and rubbery. I ate it since it was on my plate, but I would never order it again. When I come back to Snowbird for more snowboarding, I am sure I'll end up coming back to this bar since it has a cool, laid back feeling. read more

I would like to start out by saying that the first night we went to this venue, we had an awesome time. Our waitresses were awesome and very attentive. For that reason I am giving this place 2 stars. Their names were Patty and Nicole. The second night was a whole different ball game. It was not busy AT ALL and I ordered a very simple plate to go. It took over 35 minutes to get my order. Instead, she was serving her 3 friends drinks and serving everyone else. For that reason, I did not feel it was necessary to tip her because I did not believe this was good customer service. I was with 2 others and they also did not feel it was necessary to tip based on her customer service. As we walked out she yelled in front of all her customers "thanks for nothing guys". I thought that was extremely rude. Her name was Beth. I would not recommend this place and if you do go, prepare to wait and don't be surprised if they screen your receipt for the tip. I'm not a skier nor am I a snowboarder. As a matter of fact, I'm against most sports that require me to plunge my body down a mountain at the same speeds a slow moving car would be driving. That being said, it makes sense as to why I have never been here. We were just up at Snowbird for Oktoberfest. Upon arriving it was raining pretty heavily. So like many of the other attendees, we sprinted for cover, which brought our group here. What a cool place. It's dark, calm, relaxing. No complaints, this is my type of place. I have no idea what the winter ski crowd is like, but for our purposes, this was perfect. I have no idea if the food was good or not, I'm mostly speaking on the ambiance and the prices, which were not bad at all. If I could just chill here all day while my friends skied, I'd actually consider taking a couple trips up the mountain during the winter. read more

The Tram Club is a nice place. You can have a karaoke or a live bands with your friends. Have this place be given a chance for the locals.

Another local tip led us to the Tram Club after a long, awesome day at Snowbird. They have a $5 beer plus shot special and while the shots are well (tequila or whiskey), the beer options were not only the usual PBR, Miller, etc. but also a couple of local beers, yay! I had a few of the Baba Black IPAs from Uinta and it was my favorite of the local brews I sampled all weekend. Serious steal. Our hot tipper also recommended the spicy cheese fries which our group of five crushed. A big platter of french fries topped with melted cheese and buffalo sauce? Hello! I was looking forward to these fries all damn day and they didn't disappoint. It was crowded on a Friday afternoon but we were able to move from a two-top to a loungey area with a bunch of leather couches after not much wait which was awesome, and they had live music to boot. Our only bummer was service was somewhat unpleasant. But it's a dive bar at the bottom of a ski mountain, so whatever. Pretty neat to watch the tram wheels spinning too. read more
