Been hearing about the wings the wings the wings from a coworker. Well played 18 holes on the adjacent golf course Turtle Creek and grabbed some lunch. I had the home in and my son had the boneless. We shared a basket of fries. My bone in were fried well hot and I had the medium hot sauce on the side. They were great. Well done and the sauce had just the right amount of Buffalo seasoning and heat. My son gave the boneless a two thumbs up. The star was the fries. Really crispy on the outside and soft on the center. Very good. The interior was clean and our server Sam did a great job. On as hot day as it was she kept the fluids flowing and the A/C was on blast. Great way to end a round of golf.

Service Arica was a doll! She constantly checked on our large party and made sure everyone had a full drink and satisfied with their food. Food Yum, yum, yum! Every meal was exactly as described, hot fresh and so flavorful Atmosphere We went at brunch hour on the weekend. It wasnt busy but there was a small crowd. We were seated right away. Definitely a cute little spot hidden away in the golf course. We will be returning!

Twisted Birch- Rockledge, FL- 2.5 Stars "Food is the most important meal of the day." - Nikhil Saluja Eyeing my set of clubs in the garage, I shook my head and clamored into the Big Boy Mobile to head up to Rockledge for my latest food venture. Setting the GPS for Turtle Creek Golf Course, I began to reminisce a bit about my golf playing days when "I wore a younger man's clothes", to quote Mr. Joel. Good times, I concluded as I pulled into the parking lot. What am I doing at a golf course, you ponder? The name spewed forth from my name generator today was none other than Twisted Birch, the eatery located within the Turtle Creek Golf Course. After all, even people out ruining a perfectly good walk need to eat. However, I would be remiss if I didn't state that this is a real restaurant, not some "19 Hole" cafe one finds on golf courses across this nation. After being shown to a table and handed a menu I was left alone to contemplate the said menu. Other than some creative naming, the menu was your typical "sports bar" grub with chicken wings, nuggets, the fried grub of various sources and of course a full bar. I was interrupted from my perusing before too long by a Gen Z er who actually introduced himself as Sean. I guess there is a modicum of hope yet for this misguided, lost generation. Not much, but some is better than none. Sean was really something else and deserves high praise for a job well done. I put in an order for some Fish and Chips and a Boujee Bologna sandwich. While waiting for Sean's return, I took the opportunity to glance about the place a bit and was rewarded with a neat, clean interior that was sparsely populated at this time of the day. They do offer live music and events so I am sure it picks up a bit on nights and weekends. Faster than a twitch of a coon dog's tail, Sean was seen returning with my grub. This would be a good time for you to take a quick gander at the pictures accompanying this review. Looking at the food, it sure looked great. The Fish was fried to a perfect golden hue while the chips were also done justice. While I had no problem with the quality of the fish and chips, they were overdone. I am guessing the cook either went on a smoke break or grabbed something to drink, regardless, it was clear he turned his attention toward something else while my food was cooking. They were overcooked to the point of being inedible, and they were far past the point of perfect or even on-point frying. Moving our attention to the next item on our menu we come to the oh so fun to utter, Boujee Bologna Sandwich. Is it just me, or is that really fun to say? I feel early 20th Century when I say it. The sandwich itself was cute, tasty and enjoyable to eat. The bread was grilled to perfection, the bologna was cut nice and think and the spicy brown mustard gave it just the right amount of kick to make sure I was still awake. The slaw sadly was your average Sysco lower grade slop. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the anathema contained on the menu. I speak of the evil "smash burgers." As an eating populace, I implore you to write your local representative to see if we can't get these atrocities to the food industry removed and banned from all menus. The Big Boy says, "for 5-star service of mediocre food, this should be on your list." #bigboy #bigboydining

Beautifully prepared all flats wings. Well done and yet very moist and delicious with BBQ/SPICY/GARLIC.... House made ranch is great. Blue cheese dressing is just as yum. They do not skimp on carrots an celery either. Ashley is very fantastic and attentive too! XOXO Thanks for being here. And remaining consistent.

Came here on a busy Saturday night with a private party going on. However, this did not effect our dinner at all. Food and service was quick. Our server Jeana answered all our questions, explained menu items & made suggestions based on our preferences. And kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. Inside is a sports bar feel with lots of beer on tap and tv screens for games. Food was great I had the blackened Mahi tacos, tortilla chips and slaw. Husband had the pot roast birrias which he said were very good. We will be back to try their brunch on the weekends!

There was plenty to take home and have a second meal, and she said it was all delicious. I ordered the soup (clam chowder) and house Caesar. The soup was nice and hot and tasted great. The salad was good, though a tad heavy on the dressing. A general note about Miller's and its kids' menu: I have eaten at a few of these places around the state, and I find their policy about adults eating off the kids' menu to be weird. Some servers are fine with it and some claim management won't let them allow you to order of the other menu. Most items on the kids' menu cost about $8. The (adult) meatloaf is $8.50. The fish and chips are $7.99. So, what is the big deal about an adult ordering off the kids' menu if the costs are the same? Some of us don't want a 1/2 pound burger. The kids' menu has a 1/4 lb. burger. Also, we sometime dine with our disabled nephews, and they usually prefer "kid friendly" dishes. I wish Miller's would review this policy.

An eclectic menu done right!…read more LongDoggers is one of those rare places with an eclectic menu where everything we've tried actually works. We've all been to restaurants with big menus that only execute one category well--or where the American food is solid but anything outside of that completely misses the mark. That hasn't been our experience here. This was our second visit. Two years ago, we happened upon LongDoggers while traveling to the drive-thru Bethlehem at Lakewood Park Church (which is phenomenal and highly recommended). Heading down again for the same event, we considered trying somewhere new, but the good memories of LongDoggers brought us right back. The atmosphere is casual with a bit of a sports-bar vibe, and the food is genuinely good. No photos this time because we were way too hungry to wait the extra five seconds , but I did grab pictures of the menu. Our table ordered the Blackened Shrimp Lettuce Tacos, a Banzai Shrimp Bowl, the Cool Ranch Chicken Sandwich, and a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Every item was a hit. Entrées were $15 and up, especially with upgrades, and meals come with kettle chips. Service was another plus. Our waitress was friendly and attentive without hovering--prompt but not overbearing--and she shared the specials and offered recommendations. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped in around 1:00 pm on a Saturday and were seated right away inside at a booth-style table. By the time we left, there was a clear line and a wait. If you're passing through or looking for a casual spot with a varied menu that's executed well, LongDoggers is absolutely worth the stop.

The place clearly has a strong neighborhood vibe. Even on a holiday, it felt like a regular hangout spot where many of the patrons seemed to know each other and the bartenders. That kind of atmosphere always adds a layer of warmth you can't manufacture. Service-wise, our waitress was very friendly and attentive when she was at the table. Food delivery did take longer than expected considering the restaurant didn't appear overly busy, but to be fair, it was a specialized St. Patrick's Day menu which likely slowed the kitchen down. Now to the food. My co-diner ordered the corned beef Reuben, served on grilled rye with a generous pile of crinkle fries. The sandwich was stacked with tender corned beef and had that classic deli-style balance of meat and sauerkraut. He described it simply as "very good," which from him is a strong endorsement. I ordered the traditional Irish stew with potatoes and cabbage, which came plated with a hearty portion of mashed potatoes. The stew itself had a few nice chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich brown gravy that definitely leaned into bold seasoning. The only note is that the pepper level was quite heavy across the stew, mashed potatoes, and cabbage. If you're someone who enjoys a strong pepper-forward flavor profile, this will absolutely be right up your alley. Portions were generous and the meal definitely delivered that comfort-food, stick-to-your-ribs Irish pub feeling. Overall, a positive experience with friendly service, a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, and hearty holiday fare. I'd happily come back again -- especially to explore more of the regular menu outside the St. Patrick's Day rush.
