Before placing the special order, I asked more than once what would happen if the item didn't fit. I was repeatedly assured that it would. When the item arrived, it did **not** fit. I had concerns as soon as I saw it, but was still told it would work. I returned the item as directed by my employer. The purchase was made with my **personal funds**, and now I am still waiting for my refund. The most frustrating part was the attitude during the return process--it felt like I was inconveniencing them, even though the item did not match the assurance I was given. If you're placing a special order here, make sure you get the return policy and compatibility guarantees **in writing**. Clear communication and timely refunds should be standard. My husband and I popped in one afternoon, as we are looking to modernize and upgrade our kitchen lighting. Karah, the sales girl who promptly greeted us, was knowledgeable, helpful and offered us additional catalogs to browse. (She even sent us home with several.) I loved all of the cabinet and door hardware they have! There was everything from lizard handles to whimsical fiddlehead ferns. I could have browsed them all afternoon! While their selection [of most everything] is lovely and mostly on the more unique side, it is all quite pricey and likely outside of our rather small reno budget. But go and check this place out! We added a new bank of cabinetry in the breakfast nook- that slab will be ready soon and they will be back out. My house has some odd angles- and the kitchen especially- I am so happy with the attention to detail with the install and how gorgeous the quartz countertop is! Excellent pricing too. And they were accommodating to us having to reschedule the install because of a damaged cabinet. Great communication, customer service, product and craftsmanship!!! This company came HIGHLY recommended by both my flooring guy and someone I know in the cabinet business. John and I went in to browse their inventory and get a quote. Now- I will say, we went to a different company that had a much bigger selection- but the prices were easily doubled. I am waiting to get one more quote before deciding- but the price point here really has me wanting to go with them! The young lady who took us around explained the different tiers in pricing and the difference in materials. I wanted quartz- but was open to looking at granite. John and I found a middle ground- seeing how what he liked was not what I wanted and some of my taste was not what he wanted. I had purchased a brand new G.E. refrigerator that was supposed to be a garage ready refrigerator. I purchased the refrigerator in December 2026. While using it for the last 4 months I did not realize at the time that my purchase was actually the wrong model and that it was not a garage ready refrigerator. I didnt realize because it was still cold in my garage so I didnt see any issues at the time. Now the weather has changed and my garage is hot so I was seeing how my refrigerator was struggling to stay cold inside. I own a micro bakery and I use it for many loads of sourdough bread. I called appliance 4 less and told them that I had looked up my refrigerator and that the one they sold me was not the one I had requested. I told them that on purchase I stated that I needed to have and only wanted a garage ready refrigerator. The kind woman did not argue with me and tried to help me. She looked to find me a garage ready refrigerator and told me they did not have one. The customer service I received was amazing especially in today's time you really dont find good customer service anymore but you do here. Because she couldn't find a refrigerator that I needed she offered to refund my money even with it being 5 months that I did use it. I was so surprised and honestly I expected to have many arguments and needing to get my credit card company involved but I didnt have to. I can say this company truly gives the best service its starts from the minute you walk in the door. I even got a free warranty on the refrigerator which was amazing. So if you are looking for an appliance I would not go anywhere else. This is the second purchase that I had made with Appliance 4 less and if I ever need or have someone I know that needs an appliance I will always tell people give appliance 4 less a chance. The knowledge they have is too notch and the staff are friendly and welcoming the moment you walk in. They have everything from the basic bulb to a $20,000 chandelier!!
