Stopped in for a Revolve Easy Return. There was a line with people behind me (I would have been the next person helped) when someone stepped up and opened another operating space. The guy behind me walks right up cutting me in line. The staff member saw this and looked uncomfortable but didn't do or say anything about it to the guy. Before I could open my mouth to say something a different staff member saw this and stoped what she was doing to help me with my return while apologizing and diffusing the situation. I walked into the store. There are two workers visible (not sure if there were others). One worker is in the back on the computer - I will give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was working. The other individual was discussing his side job of DJ'ing with someone. Offering his card and talking himself up. Basically doing everything but help the actual customer. Once their discussion ended, he finally acknowledged my presence. They clearly need a real manager at this location because what they got ain't working. read more

I went to this location last night and the line was out the door. However, the line moved quickly, as they had a great procedure in place. All employees were cordial, even when one customer got a little worked up. I especially want to commend Derrick, who waited on me. We struck up a nice conversation, when I commented to him that he was awfully calm and collected for this time of year. He stated that he tries to stay that way and works very hard to provide great and friendly customer service. Such a great attitude to have for such a young man! If I could give a 0 stars I would. I have used other UPS stores to ship items dozens of times before and never had a problem. I went to the Floyd Rd location #300 to ship some items to my son for his birthday. Along with a small bag was a birthday card that had a Visa gift card in its cardboard holder that has the amount printed on the front. I only watched the man put the bag into the box that they provided, and set the birthday card that was inside an envelope with the Visa gift card upright beside the bag. I paid and left the store without watching him seal and label the box ( my mistake) When my son received the sealed box and opened the card, he went to make a purchase with the card and it was declined. He checked the balance and it was zero! With a little investigating on our own, we discovered that an online purchase had been made in the same state it was shipped from before it reached my son 4 days later. I called and asked to speak to the manager, a woman who sounds like she smokes 10 packs a day. When I told her that someone who works at that store must have taken a picture of the card number and used it to make an online purchase before it left the store, she didn't seem surprised at all nor was she apologetic in any way. She made a bunch of excuses and sounded bored with my call. They don't have any cameras at that location. As a mom I was heartbroken imagining my son excited to use his birthday gift and discovering the money had been stolen from his card. This was an unfortunate life lesson for my son that there are thieves everywhere. Even working in your local UPS store. Thanks to Visa for conducting an investigation and seeing exactly what happened and reimbursing the card amount that was stolen! That's good customer service Visa! I have given this location at least three occasions to do the right thing and excel in Customer Service and each time they failed. I went in one day and the line was long and they were busy, one person wasn't doing anything and the other two people were so slow. All I wanted to do was drop an Amazon return off. I mentioned to the lady in front of me that this is the slowest location I have been to - the rep behind the counter must've heard me so when I came up, he took package and handed me my receipt with no cordial. "Thank you" and I walked out. so I said, OK I won't go back. So , I was in the area and it was convenient to make the Amazon returns. They open at 10. I wasn't sure if they were open so I called them and it rang and rang and rang and I said well there are no cars out here when I walk in Rep in there I asked I called and there was no answer and she said well I picked up and then no one was there and she said I am still opening. Its 10:05. Doors opened I said, but it ring a lot of times she said well what do you need in like a rude manner and I said what I want is to return an Amazon package - it's just good. Good People are hard to find. I don't even know why this place is in business. Very first time I went to mail just a regular letter because I didn't have any stamps at the time and it was closer. It was I think $4.75 and we're talking a letter. Reg size. I went USPS for 60 or 65 cents. read more

This UPS has horrid customer service. I stopped by to have a document notarized. I was irritated they charged $4 as a computer use fee. I told him I didn't use the computer and was told they had to use it on my behalf. There's a computer workstation inside and I never used it. The signage looks like you incur the fee if you use the computer. At any rate, my document was notarized and I walk to my car. Well the notary forgot to stamp my document. I went back into the store. We are talking about a 3-4 minute turn around time. I'm thinking it'll take 20 seconds to correct this. Well the young lady who was working was on a 3way FaceTime call. The people on the other end of the phone were using foul language and the whole store could hear. I told her why I came back in and she giggled and walked out the store. There was a young white male cashier who tried his hardest but didn't know how to work the system. He told me the person went on break and they wouldn't come back to stamp the document. I asked for a refund and he didn't know how to do it and none of his coworkers were willing to help him. I had to wait 45 minutes for their screw up. Ann refused to come out for a mistake they made less than 5 minutes before. This is unacceptable. I understand breaks but sometimes you have to make an exception when YOU caused the problem. No customer should have to wait an hour for a freakin notary stamp. read more

Husband and I made the mistake of waiting until the 11th hour to get our wills notarized before going on a big trip - right before Christmas. So we had to get them notarized during the Christmas rush. We went to this UPS location without an appointment and they couldn't have been nicer ... the manager Jeff patiently explained that we were missing one of the forms that he needed to legally notarize a will. We sort of panicked for a minute but he went and found it online and printed it out. His employees were witnesses. He didn't charge us extra for finding the form even though it took extra time during the busy Christmas rush. I can't thank him enough because if we had had to go home and get that form printed out and then return, I don't know if we would've made it before closing time. And that would've messed up our whole trip. We should not have waited till the last minute I know, but we it would not have happened without their help. They were professional and courteous, and most of all patient - and during Christmas time in the shipping business, I think they went above and beyond. They'll continue to get all my shipping business, but I'll also look to them for other services because I know they'll do a good job! read more

How can you in 2019 close a store at four o'clock on a Saturday. That's bad enough. But my husband went there at 3:50 and they had already closed, employees gone like puffs of smoke on the wind. Our package was labeled and taped. All he had to do was put it on the counter and let them scan it. Thirty seconds. If you're going to close at that time of day, at least stay until the end! Employees are very dismissive, and short . I arrived once with two large package, no one else was in the store but the employees. NOT ONE acknowledged my presence as if I were a nuisance, so I just walked out l. I've gone to this location multiple times and it's the same type of service. Once I needed help printing a label, and one employee grew impatient sucking her teeth. It's just a drop off center, but I wouldn't recommend the Macland rd Location. I used to use this store for a mail box as well as a place from which to ship my many packages. They had an employee who actually harassed me on a regular basis so I took my business elsewhere. Every now and then my new place is closed so I reluctantly go back to this UPS store. Today I had a van full of large packages so I had to bring in every package 1 at a time. This store always has a line of people so it is extremely difficult to get the packages inside. I was asked to put my packages in a certain location so I put them in the designated location. When I was finished and almost out of the store an employee called to me to ask me to move my packages from the location that they designated. I told her, "I was told to put my packages where they are now and I am NOT moving them!" I HATE the negative energy at that store. I will NEVER go back. read more

I was in the store yesterday, 7 March 2022. I am amazed at this store employees with their patience and kindness. While I was there yesterday morning the line was out the door. A young lady was there and approached employee, she is an older women if Indian decent. The young lade asked for some white out, and this was given to her, then she asked for a pen, and also this was given to her. She went to the side of the store with another gentleman and they were going through some papers. Both employees were very busy with other customers that kept coming in. After a few minutes the Indian lady was looking for a pen and asked the young lady if she could use the pen that she had borrowed and she threw the pen at her, the friend that was with the young lady said something to her, and then she went off, claiming she had been ignored and she was here before everyone else. I was there and not once did the young lady say she was done and ready to continue with the Indian lady. The young lady was not a young lady when she spoke, totally uncalled for. The Indian lady was stunned and could only look at her in disbelief, as everyone else in line. The Indian lady needs to be praised for her actions, when the young lady was done berating her, she turned and asked the other employee if she would take care of the young lady. Handled with class. This UPS store is now my UPS Store. I just wanted to put in my thoughts on this matter, since I am sure the young lady will have her own opionion, that is if she takes her time. Manager Jeff and staffer Jerri are both great, efficient, and totally helpful. We used this location as our primary shipment point while packing up and shipping my grandmother's place after she passed away. The staff here made the process painless--both the purchasing of boxes to be packed and the shipping of finished boxes, or in several cases, the packing of and shipping, since there were items we just couldn't wrap our heads around and asked them to box up for us. RIP OFF! I just left this location and was surprised and appalled that they would charge a $3 access fee to print something from a jump drive in addition to the $.10 per page charge for black and white copies. This is a rip off. UPS Store, stop alienating customers with these rediculous fees. If you are not making a big enough profit on printing, then don't offer the service. It's the principle of the matter that you would take advantage of people because they are are using a jump drive instead of paper copies. Well you have lost a customer. I am a small business owner and instead of using my personal printer for larger files, I take them to a copy center. So much for using UPS. I will take my business elsewhere. read more
