It's raining ppl are trying to get in and out quickly I had one black and white shipping label I needed which was two dollars they said internet was down so that I can't pay with card that's all I had all they said was sorry then we can't give it to you like sir it's one sheet it's an inconvenience on your tech support that it's down not mine no sign anywhere least they could've done is given it to me since it was already printed you will not go bankrupt over one paper. I often visit the UPS store in Buena Park off of Lincoln Avenue. Services I receive are Amazon returns and notary services. While everyone in there is extremely friendly, respectful and professional, I usually work with Sam. He is very knowledgeable and quick with my transactions. I sent my package here and it get lost. They didn't do anything just tell my file claim with ups. My package is $300 but only get $100 refund from the claim even I proof with recipes. It's not fair for customers, all they said is sorry. Why do I have to lose $200 and it's not my fault. read more

I came here for a notary signature and called ahead to make sure the notary was available. Over the phone and in person, I worked with Dennis who was very polite and helpful. I got to the store on Saturday morning and there was no line. Dennis quickly took care of my documents and knew what he was doing. There was plenty of parking in the lot as well. I have been coming to this UPS store for over a year now (weekly drop offs) ever since I moved to this area. I never thought I'd write a review for them until I went to a different UPS store yesterday and received horrendous treatment from another location (Westminster & Goldenwest - check them out on Yelp, they have over 200 Negative reviews about the Indian owner lol) , that was when I realized how WONDERFUL this Buena Park location has been to me. I always do internet purchase most of the time at Amazon. Once in a while I have to return Amazon products and always use UPS for returns. But in this UPS store, they don't accept returns not in package despite Amazon says no packaging or label require. They want you to buy packaging from them. read more

I stopped by the location to return my item to Amazon. The man at the front desk was friendly enough but charged me $30 for an empty box. I had FREE Shipping from Amazon, I should have been able to just drop off and go. But Instead I had to pay for a box (my fault as i did not notice that i needed to box it before i came to the store), BUT $30 just for an Empty box? Thats ridiculous! IT GETS WORSE!!! I called the customer complaint dept to ask how much they normally charge for an empty box. The woman who answered the phone was probably the most ignorant person i have ever spoken to in my life. I told her that I just wanted the cost price of a large box, she asked me for my name then put me on hold then asked me for the zip code of where the UPS store was located (okay those are reasonable) but then she asks me what the zip code is of where it is getting shipped!!!!!!!!!?????? WTF!!!??? I TOLD her several times during our conversation that I was not shipping the item I JUST WANTED THE PRICE OF A LARGE BOX! I thought maybe she accidently asked me that? But no, she was freaking serious!! Then she gives ME attitude and puts me on hold. UH NOPE! Not again, I am not going to sit on hold for a damn hour because you are a stupid person and cant figure out the request! PLEASE HIRE PEOPLE THAT HAVE BRAINS AND CAN USE THEM, i literally called the COMPLAINT Department to make complaint about the price of how much this UPS store is charging their customers and INSTEAD now have to complain about THE COMPLAINT DEPARTMENTS Inept employees!! I WILL be contacting corporate about the complaint department, because now I STILL dont know if I was even overcharged or not due to the lack of intelligence from this person. read more

I came here to notarize a document. Honestly there was no line and it was very quiet. The workers were nice... I don't really expect them to be overly excited over for shipping, notary, etc. It's just as same as any other UPS. All prices are fixed and everything that needs to be charged is written on the wall. I just liked it because it was fast, clean, and quiet. read more

I came here to have a letter notarized for my company. The staff were very courteous and accommodating. When I arrived the manager that does notary was assisting another customer. His assistant was eager to make me comfortable while I waited, which wasn't long at all. When it was my turn, he was quick and thorough paying attention to the detail of my documents. I rarely write up negative remarks but this is the first and last time I will ever step into that UPS store. I had to return some shoes and this was the nearest UPS store. Most of the time it is not an issue but wow I had the rudest lady at the counter. I walked in and didn't recieve any type of greeting. I had the box and older lady just questioned what my box was for. " What is this for? " " It is for a return, I am sorry but do you happen to have any tape?" " Only this time, leave it on table." She had her hands folded up and had the rudest stance. I was willing to pay for some damn tape but she had to give me attitude. I was fearing the worst that she would intentionally ship my box to Mexico or something. Never am I coming back. Thanks for being rude to a potential customer. read more

Came here to get a print out. Charged me a dollar just to use computer, print Charges was $.60, receipt was for $.60, total charged $1.60. I have printed at other UPS stores where I was only charged for prints. PS- I had asked before printing how much it would be for prints, was not mentioned that I would be charged for using computer. read more

The only thing this store is good for is shopping. Don't think of using them for copies or business services. There was 1 copier and it does not staple and it crumbled up my originals which caused me to go home print out again and head over to FedEx. Was contacted by the store to remove my 1 star. If I could I would give no stars for the crap copier and the person working there who did not seem to care. I chose this location because it's closer to my home but I won't make that mistake again. I came in right before they closed and the guy was so nice about helping me ship out my two packages. He helped me use my old packages so that I wouldn't have to spend unnecessary money on new ones. I really appreciated that. They are a little stingy on the tape, but I guess you can't have perfect customer service everywhere you go. I've given this location 3 tries. I am never going back. The first time, the guy would not allow me to drop off my mail to go out, they were Christmas cards, he said I had to go across the street to the post office. The second time around I went to ship boxes, we are talking a tiny little box (like an ornament box 4 1/2" L x 3 1/2" W x 3¾" H) and they wanted $21.98 to ship it. I told him he was NUTS, I went to another UPS store down the street and it was $3.79 to ship it. The other day I was trying to do a return and on the return label it said drop off at UPS or FedEx and the guy refused to take it. He said that they don't accept returns only regular mail (but three weeks prior they wouldn't take my Christmas cards to mail out) AWFUL service and rude about it. Although this UPS store is the closest to my house, in walking distance, I will drive myself to Lakewood to not deal with that nonsense. read more

Went to send a package , I already had a box but didn't tape it up cause I thought they would provide me tape . I walked into the store , nobody was up front and then when the asian lady came out I gave her my package and shipping label - she then told me that I should've came with my package all ready ... I told her that I thought the store would provide me with tape . She didn't answer and slapped the shipping label on it , without taping my box . I saw tape in the back table , made me think she was just too lazy to get it and tape it up (which would probably take less than a minute) . It was my first time at this UPS and honestly , service really sucks here . The store is unkempt and seemed messy . I usually go to one near my house , but since I was already in the area i thought I'd save myself the drive . Not going to this ups store again . read more

I ordered a birthday gift for my girlfriend from Amazon and unfortunately they used UPS to ship it. Whatever. I PAID (can't emphasize that enough) to have it sent to a UPS store where it would be held for pick up. I get a text & email informing me that the package is ready to be picked up. When I get there however, the guy working (didn't get his name since he wasn't wearing a name tag. Guess it's smart to not wear one when you're giving shoddy service) tells me that "it doesn't show in their system". I show him the tracking info complete with proof of delivery and that it was signed for. He proceeds to tell me something along the lines of packages are simply dropped off and they don't actually sign for them. Whether that's true or if he was just looking to shirk responsibility for helping to locate my missing package, who knows. He tells me again it's not I their system and "I don't know what to tell you" and gives me the number for customer service, which dealing with that lot has been a different nightmare in itself. At the end of the day I paid to have a package held here and it's pretty much floating in space at this point and I won't have it in time for my girlfriend's birthday, if I ever get it at all. Somehow a package I PAID to have held at a location can walk out of the door and the employees can't be bothered to give a crap. read more

Came in to drop of a pack and ship item which was a porcelain Native American doll. They couldn't figure out wether it was or not pack and ship . I offered to take my item back and pack it myself and the guy who works there offered to pack it and ship it . He put the doll in a bubble mailer and it arrived completely shattered to the buyer. The item should have been placed in a box . Came in tot all tot hen about the issue and he claims I never told him I would take the item back and pack it myself like I always do. I am out on my item and money. I cannot file a claim as the sale was cancelled and buyer refunded. This is ridiculous I am a long time customer who comes in at least 3 times a week. They have now lost a customer. I really hope they figure out a way for me to file a claim and get my refund. read more

Came here to ship large picture frames and a vase, the owner or manager of this store seems an expert on packaging. I really like the way he pack and prepare the item for shipping. I love UPS stores in general, but not all of them pack well enough to meet "my expectation" but this store does. Hope this store is near my place... but definitely I will stop by whenever I come to the area. read more
