I paid $75 to have a package shipped overnight. Not only did the package NOT arrive, it is now lost completely. When I went back to the store to get a refund, I was given the run around, and a phone number to call. 2 weeks later, and I am still trying to get my money back. I have a business and have shipped merchandise since the early 90's. I usually print from home and use USPS or Fedex and thought I would try USP store in Cedar Park next to HEB. I used the online calculator and it showed $52. I wanted to send the item asap and went in person and they charged me $124.83! I asked why all the extra charges and they couldn't tell me. I understand this is a franchise...but still, I will NEVER use UPS ever again. I will tell this story till the end of my life and let the Better Business Bureau know. This is criminal. read more

This place is often busy and more often very busy. They keep the line moving, though. They are efficient at getting customers taken care of and moving on with their day. They even have a fancy pants new kiosk to process Amazon returns. You just scan your Amazon issued QR code, take your printed receipt (it can email your receipt to you as well) and put the package up by the UPS employee desk. A very nice UPS store employee with the coolest hair showed me how to use it. They can help you with a wide variety of packaging and supplies if you are in need. They are also conveniently located right next to a Smokey Mo's BBQ. Talk about location, location, location. read more

I had such a great experience at this UPS Store! After literally just being turned away at the U.S. Post Office just minutes before closing -- first for simply asking for some tape, then for trying to join the line two minutes before noon -- I was feeling really frustrated. I work full time during the week and had been trying all week to make it to the Post Office before closing, and Saturday was only chance since they close at noon. I tried but it didn't happen. Thankfully, I walked into the neighboring UPS Store and was immediately welcomed with a smile. The staff were friendly, helpful, efficient, and didn't hesitate to tape up my packages for me. I'm also so glad they accept drop-offs for U.S. Post Office packages -- it was such a relief after the experience I'd just had. Next time I won't even bother going to the U.S. Post Office at all! They really turned my morning around, and I appreciated their kindness and professionalism so much. Highly recommend this UPS Store, they really go the extra mile for their customers! Had to drop off a package to be mailed out by UPS, and this location was the closest to me. Extremely friendly staff! I was greeted immediately by a gentleman in glasses when I walked in with a "how are you doing today, what can I help you with" and it was a breath of fresh air. I'm a little surprised at some of the negative reviews, this seems like a pretty well run outlet of the UPS store. Have had no issues when mailing something or dropping off a return here. Service was friendly and the wait not abnormally long. Parking was bit tight but I was there during a busy lunch hour. As a bonus this is easily the best-smelling UPS store I've ever been in. Went in today to print a few papers and got charged a $3.95 print fee on top of the 3 pages I printed. The guy was rude and acted totally inconvenienced by our presence. I am sure the dozens of Amazon return folks in and out every hour put a damper on the slow times to relax... The $3.95 fee is ridiculous... took less than a minute to complete.... listened to him gripe about all the emails he gets when he was checking for the email I just sent.... I come here often for my Amazon returns. The worst part about this location is the parking lot. People can get crazy at this intersection. I've had nothing but pleasant customer service, even as I return a tedious amount of items that each has its own return code. I always feel bad about it, but the team remains patient. read more

I set up an appointment online for Notary. 3pm. I got there and they advised she is on lunch. The other employee advised I get off at 3. They blamed they sometimes don't get notified about appointments and this is probably technical supports problem. Poor customer service. Glad I took off work to get nothing done. read more

The quality of this store has tanked. For a while, was getting great service. Was happy to pay the lot more that they charge, since USPS wasn't delivering my RRR mail. 1) However, a few months ago this UPS apparently changed their cleaning procedure. Since then, the air is heavy with toxic chemicals. I can barely stand it and feel for the employees. 2) Last week, I went in and they seem to have lost their good employees. a) It is sad to have to claim one does not have virus protectors (a problem we had in the 1990s re stick drives.) So, they sent me home in order to email what I needed printed out. Then, the printouts were far more than the 10 cents, PLUS there was a charge in excess of $5.00 for the privilege of emailing them something to print. This seems like a scam to me. b) Not appropriate to talk on the phone in the middle of transaction with a face2face client. Standard business knowledge c) Not appropriate to yell across the store. I could not get the rest of my business done. Have searched for substitute businesses and locations. read more

Needed to return a purchase from Amazon. Amazon emailed me the return label but since my PC was broke so no access to the printer. I headed over to this UPS location as the label was for UPS. They had a sign on the door that no more than 5 people are allowed in at a time. But no one was enforcing it. I stand away from the couple at the counter. A gentleman calls me over to the other counter. I tell him my situation. Need to return this box but I have no printer to print the label. He says we can print it for $4.36 and walks away to send a girl over to help me. WTF. Guess he was the manager and didn't want to get yelled at for the price. I had to explain to the girl AGAIN what I needed. She said, did he tell you it was $4.36. Yes. She says nothing. I asked if she can give me the email to forward the label to. Okay, from the time I typed in their email, to her opening that email and hitting print and going to pick up the label. Two Lousy minutes. You can get copies made for 50 cents at other places. So I would consider $2.50 a reasonable price but nope. Rip off. I will never use this store again. read more

I had a set of china (service for 8) each service set consisted of dinner plate, soup bowl, salad plate, cup, saucer, plus the hostess platter, serving bowl, sugar bowl and creamer. It was over 50 years old and belonged to my mom. Well it was time to pass it on to my niece so I brought it all to the UPS store. They did the most amazing job of wrapping all the pieces, each one within it's own plastic air chamber of sorts. They then shipped it from Texas to Florida and I'm beyond thrilled to say that every last piece arrived there in perfect condition. I can't recommend this store to others enough. I repeatedly tried to click and ship ok the UPS website. It's kept saying processing and refresh for status. It never would work. Online my box was $27.39. Since it wouldn't let me print the label, I can here. Here is was $41. Now that I'm reviewing my receipt, she added an inch on every side of the box (yes I measured at home twice) and when I asked in the store- why is it more? She said UPS corporate is their biggest competitor and they have to charge store fees. Long story short. If you are shipping UPS- do it online ad then simply drop it here or you'll be paying. Rude and unprofessional. After following instructions to return EMPTy soda stream canisters via UPS (my only option) this location accepted the drop off. Then the driver wouldn't take it. So they called me to retrieve it. Thank you. They were not helpful in resolving a reasonable situation of empty canisters. They would not let me re box within the store and woman used a threatening tone if I tried to do that. I sarcastically offered my thanks, noting how "helpful" she is being. vERY disappointed to see that she defaced the official shipping box making my attempts to correct more difficult. Couldn't just put a post it note in the box, could you? Am I annoyed. Yes! What kind of employee defaces the shipping box? What a joke of a customer focus employee. Went to a near by UPS store at Anderson Mill who were helpful to calmly discussing and researched how to help me. Thank you Anderson Mill location. Will bring my business to that location. This is the slowest UPS in existence. I never need to talk to anyone, I always come to drop of Amazon or Target pre-printed labels and they still make you stand in the longest slowest line. They are never attentive to anyone except the person they are currently helping. Even at tbt QT gas station the workers manage to have two registers going so the lines moves faster. I'm here just to drop something off and no one will look up at me to grab my package. There should be a sign or bin for drop off. read more

Went in to mail a fishing pole. They wanted to charge me $50 bucks and told me they wouldn't ship it until I showed them my ID. He said they need ID to put down my address into their system and they wouldn't ship it without it. What is this Nazi Germany? Hell no, that's a huge invasion of my privacy when I'm just trying to mail a damn fishing pole. So I went down the street to the post office. Mailed it for $17 buck with the insurance on the fishing pole. They also didn't ask to see my ID. Moral of the story, don't go hear, take your business to our United States Postal Service. read more

I am very thankful I don't live in Cedar Park and therefore have closer UPS store locations to go to. I happened to be in Cedar Park today and had to get something notarized with my husband, and am absolutely blown away at how poorly we were treated. While waiting in line we heard the same woman that helped us, talk down to another customer. When it was our turn, she did the very same thing to us. Before even asking what we needed notarized, she barked "well we may not even be able to do that here! I will have to see the form!" and her customer service skills just went downhill from there. Even my husband, who never gets uncomfortable, was amazed at her behavior towards us. Even if you live near this location, it's worth it to drive somewhere else. read more

I'm am surprised by the less than 5 star rating this business has. I like the new look of the store and the new ownership and management. I have used this UPS location for years and everyone does an excellent job. Sometimes the lines get long, but the lines are long at the usual times just like the post office. The trick is to come at odd times. I have personally seen unreasonable people in the store ask for unreasonable requests. Maybe they are the ones posting negatively? Several years ago, I had to utilize this facility to ship a few things. My impression at the time was a place that was unorganized, unfriendly and basically not a good place to deal with. I find that all those earlier descriptive words no longer apply. Right from when you walk in the door, you know that things are much better. The store in well laid out and you can easily see what services are offered. Best of all, the employees are friendly, well trained and knowledgeable.
