First off, don't do business with this place. There are other UPS stores in the area that are much friendlier than this staff. I have never seen unethical people run a business like they do. If you do drop any packages that have prepaid UPS labels...get a receipt that showed they received it. I use to drop packages there all the time and half of them they lost. I would ask them to research it and find the root cause of why my packages were missing and all they could do is refer me to the 800 UPS number. The young lady with glasses, short hair and the older gentleman there (which I think is the owner) are always rude, never smile. Even if you are spending 2.00 on packaging material, take the business to another UPS store who is more deserving of that profit. read more

There was an issue that day getting the store open on time, so several of us were waiting outside for 20 mins So it was backed up right away, so praise goes out to the man working that morning. He was very polite and efficient trying to get us all processed. read more

I went into this store to secure a price on what it would cost to ship 2 oversized boxes. Gave the Manager (Mark?) the dimensions, weight and zip code to ship ground. Dimensions were 27" x 52" x 6" / 40 lbs. I was provided a price of $60.08/ea. or $50.08/ea. depending if I wanted $500 insurance or the standard $100. So in total it would have cost either $120.16 or $100.16 to ship. I wrote all of this information down on a piece of paper at the store. Left the store, went home and picked up the boxes and went right back up there to ship. Upon arrival, the Manager measured and weighed the boxes. Weight on each was 38 lbs., dimensions were 27"x 52"x7" on one box and 27"x 52"x 6" on the other. Was then told the it would cost $160.00 to ship with the lower insurance! $60.00 more that the price I was provided 30 minutes earlier! Manager told me, "that is what the computer shows!" I questioned him as to why there was so much of a price difference with basically the same dimensions and a lower weight? He informed me, that is "what the computer shows and that the price he gave me before was only a quote." Never once did he indicate that the previous price was a quote! Understand a price difference if the measurements and weights I provided were inaccurate, but there were not! He asked what he could do to make it right? I responded that I felt like I was baited and switched and the only way he could make this right was to honor the price that he provided before! Also went onto the UPS.COM web site and booked my own shipment and then dropped it off at another UPS Store. You pay online, print your own labels and just drop it off at an authorized UPS STORE! And guess what? The price I paid was $5.00 higher than the price I was 1st provided by this store. Understand that this is probably a franchise store and they have a "mark-up" but, after the bait and switch routine with a much higher price, I have just learned to do my business on-line and just drop off the package! Recommend others to do the same! This store had been my go-to shipping store up to now and rest assured, I will never use them again and do my very best to let as many people know of my bait and switch experience! Can see how this "business" was able deteriate themselves to a YELP - 2 star rating with a couple of reviews with a similar experiences as mine!!!!! read more

So I called ahead to make sure they could scan a large document, I have 400 pages that I need scanned, and my small Home scanned won't cut it. They said that they could do that while I waited, so I drove up to the store. When I got there they were too busy to help me, even though I was the only one in the store. Then when I spoke with the person behind the counter they said it would be $.50 per page. To scan,not copy,but scan. That doesn't use any ink, or paper... They wanted me to spend $200 plus tax, to scan a document. I drove the extra 5 miles to FEDEX Kinko's and got it done for $4. Horrible customer service and absolutely ridiculous pricing. They have a massive commercial copier doing nothing in the middle of their store and they wanted $.50 to scan a sheet of paper. read more

Don't bother to use this store. I questioned a $131.35 (18 lb.) box being shipped "ground" and was told that it was the lowest rate. (Not even guaranteed to ship on time for Fri 11/15 from Mon 11/11.) After going back in to the store later in the day, I spoke to the Manager. He then explained that this UPS store is not the same as going online to UPS directly. The rates online are 1/3 of the price! I was not told or shown the breakdown of the costs for bubble wrap nor for the service that they charge to pack the box for you. I simply stated that I was not explained my options and only given the total price and asked if he could do something for me. The Manager stated "you agreed to the price" and would not do anything about it. My advice to you reading this... go online to the UPS site, pack it yourself for much less and have them pick it up. So, I got a message from the new owner introducing themselves and asking me to stop in. What a difference. The new owner transformed this place and it is now my go to place for shipping. These people are rude and unfriendly. Worst service ever. UPS needs new management from this store

I visited this store twice this afternoon (my fault) and the first time was great. Not long after that (and well before 5pm) I went back and shipped exactly the same thing but it cost me $18 more. This was less than the $29 more than the second guy quoted me but still ridiculous. The second guy couldn't explain why it was more and wouldn't even ask the person who originally helped (who was two registers down) what the difference was because "the first guy was under him". Not going back. Update: Jack, I appreciate your response. Just for your info. The package was identical in all aspects including address, packaging, weight, shipment type, etc. Everything. read more

The reviews that I read for this particular location was negative and made me leery of patronizing the store. Due to COVID-19, TxDPS provided an extension for those expiring ID's. They also provided a letter of extension for those who need it. Today, I visited the UPS Store, Whitestone, Cedar Park to get a form notarized. The gentleman helping me never smiled & tells me my ID is expired May 15. I explain to him about the extension and he asks for the letter. I need to pull from my phone & he says OK. I step aside to allow someone else to be helped. Once back at counter, a rude unfriendly lady asks as soon as I get to the counter if I have my plastic ID, the one that has my picture. I don't know if you were being sarcastic but your lack of professionalism is unacceptable. The store is small, so she assumes she knew what her co worker had asked for from me. As the situation was about to get heated, the gentleman that first helped me steps in and says she has her ID (which is in my hand with my phone) she needs the letter. I say I was trying to tell her I have the letter here. He takes my phone looks at the letter for about 2 seconds & says we can't accept this, it has to be printed. So I can show my car insurance electronically even my ID electronically at times, but I can't show a letter from DPS web site along with my ID? It's not like the letter was a personal letter, just a letter for anyone in a situation like I was in. Instead of taking the time to understand what the letter was & why, you both just assumed that I was up to no good. And the no compassionate lady who was trying to use your loud voice as if to embarrass me, trying to make it seem as if I was trying to get a form notarized without an ID was quite unnecessary. I hope that your sarcastic attitude had nothing to do with racism. Guys, we all are stress, but still customer service goes a long way. I drove less than a mile, got my form notarized, showed my phone, no questions asked. UPS, listen to customers even if you are unaware of things, it's ok to hear customers out, lots of new things are in place that you may not be aware of. read more

I just want to take a moment here to drop a five star review with a major recommendation for small or medium size businesses to see. I have been using this UPS store for the past three years, when I first began to us their services it was rocky, over the past two years since a feller named Edgar has taken over, wow is all I can say. I'll never go anywhere else for my printing needs, I'll keep my mail box there as long as he is there. I've never had an issue from anyone under his management, customer service is always good, when they train a new employee, he is there to introduce me and inform them of who I am and how often I'm in and out of the place, the print and design team are amazing. Meagan takes an email reads my instructions gets it going, then before printing calls or emails with suggestions I hadn't encountered but made the prints 100% better than my original thought. That's a huge bonus. The employees are always happy, with a smile on their face. If I need to run by last min, if I'm looking out for a package, or tossing around ideas for marketing material, this store has it all covered. Amazing. Keep up the great work!!!!!! read more

Not only was she reluctant to get the 35 lb. package from my car (excuse me, I said I needed some help! isn't that ok to ask for help?? that's why I am PAYING YOU!!) I have used this store a few times and today was the last time. Every time I have been here I always have to put up with the store clerk's attitude. Whether it be a male or female - someone always has a nasty attitude. I asked for help if they had a mailer and the girl stated, "All we have is what is there." So then I find what I am looking for and it has 500% mark up. Ridiculous! I will drive further just to avoid this place next time. Judging from previous reviews, I am not the only one I see. Tried to get forms notarized here...brutal. How hard is it to print someone's name correctly while looking directly at the spelling on their license? Apparently pretty hard because they misspelled my name on both documents. When I pointed it out, all they said was, oh we'll have to charge you to reprint it. Seriously? Take your business elsewhere. Missing the former owners! Went to mail contents fitting into a small box, lightweight package this morning. Clerk seemed unhappy to be at work. Price for small box, $25. Most economical price to ship, $70 with a guaranteed arrival on Thursday, Oct. 19. Outrageous! Picked up items and went to the Cedar Park Post Office across the street. Free box with $18.90 postage including tracking and $50 insurance. Arrival date: Tuesday, October 17. Never stepping foot in this UPS Store again. Sad! You need to be know how to do things yourself before telling customers to do it. I was the only person in the store, so he wasn't too busy to help. He told me I should try the library. Rude place. Waiting for urgent FAX fm NY yday, I called this place let them know ahead. I drove there twice, was told both times, No fax. Second trip young man said No Fax. Guy that talked to me on Saturday was nice but they lied that my packages would go out on Monday and I asked specifically about that cause if he said anything different I would have gone to the post office! A woman clerk actually told me she would tackle me if I left the store with anything I had not paid for. Since I'm not stupid enough to risk going to jail for a bubble envelope it really wasn't a very on-topic comment. Old geeky guy who is apparently slow in the head also extremely rude, but, I happened to notice, really chummy with male customers he apparently felt some kinship with on sight. I tried to withhold judgement thinking maybe the first few times someone was in a bad mood or I had inadvertently pushed someone's buttons, but the unnecessary and ubiquitous rude-mood finally warned me off. This store earns consistently low ratings because they deserve it. I have driven for UPS and not exactly a stranger to the shipping business. Yow, these people are so mysteriously rude in my day would have been fired immediately. No reason to act this way to customers. None. Period. Having a UPS store does not confer the role of Emperor upon you. Location wont be getting my business - ever. More than willing to use another drop off store. read more

On Friday, May 7, 2015 at approx 3:35 pm, I took 4 pieces of equipment to CSH "Jim". At front counter, he took from my container the New, Unboxed #UverseTV wi-fi reciever out, took it out of the plastic bag & box and offered me the box back if I wanted...I refused it, telling him that it was new & unused. He said they have to remove all box materials first. He still hadn't asked my account number. As he threw the material, he told me to bring the other items over here - stepping in front of the register and pointing. I was confused and suspicious and wondered why he hadn't had me move there prior to his grabbing the box in the first place, but I did as told. Jim asked if I had my account number, I said yes. I had it written down on my notebook and began calling it out, but he grabbed it, layed it in front of him, entered it, confirming my name. He scanned the 3 models, separated the cords (AT&T doesn't want them back) and set them in a blue plastic bin on floor with one of the 3 receipts. He verified there were 3 items I returned, and I signed. My mind was on getting to Tax Accessor Office before 4 pm to get new registration for vehicle. I felt like something bad just happened, but I had my sick dog in the van waiting, too. Today, Sunday, I looked at the receipt, noticed there were only 3 pieces returned and the 4th undetermined piece wasn't listed on the form. I called AT&T, but that department was closed. I immediately called 311 to make a police report. They were busy, but called me back, but long story short, she informed me it was a civil dispute, and I clarified the guy omitted the new UverseTV wap modem from being included in return, and was valued at over $150. She told me to go back tomorrow with a Cedar Park officer to the UPS Store #1386, and confront Jim. {UPDATE***CALLED AT&T: After near 2 hours on phone with AT&T Monday May 10, 2015, it turns out that the wap modem Jim didn't send back is "no big deal", and I was upset over nothing, and should "trust I will not be charged"!} I upgraded review to 4 stars since AT&T said it was ok, and didn't give 5 stars due to grumpiness. Went in today to return an item to Amazon, an expensive $500 camera set that I got for my son's birthday that he ended up not wanting. When I walked into the store, another customer was busy chewing out the two employees. I initially felt bad for them because the guy seemed grumpy. But then I realized the way they treat customers I wasn't surprised the way the man was acting. They questioned whether I needed a receipt for my item. As if I wouldn't need a receipt for such an expensive return. They also provided me no place to set down my very large box and they seemed in a hurry to get rid of me even though I had questions about how this all worked. When I said thank you at the end of my transaction the woman at the counter just gave me his stare and didn't say anything. I later called the manager to ask him what he thought and he did not seem apologetic at all. He was also reluctant to give me the area managers information. Very weird experience. I'm a pretty reasonable person and was trying to be helpful with some feedback and he didn't seem to want to hear it. In the future I will definitely visit another location, even though this one is close to my house. read more

STOP DO NOT shop here! This store lost my Spectrum cable box & cables after giving me a tracking number on 12/14/2020. A Debt Collector contacted me 01/25/2021 asking for $59.00 the cost of the equipment. I contacted the Debt Collector they told me the steps to take to remove this issue. Spectrum gave me the UPS Tracking number, showing the date I dropped it off at the 100 E Whitestone Blvd Suite 148* Cedar Park TX * store number 1386. I called to speak to owner Jordan Gandy but was told he seldom ever comes into the store. I spoke with Store Manager, Edgar who would not give his last name. He acknowledged the package was in his store and they did in fact print out the Tracking Number. However, that was all the help he gave. He would not help with reimbursement, further tracking, stopping the Debt Collector...NOTHING! He let me know under no uncertain terms NOTHING was his problem! WHY use UPS when you can use FED EX? Or the very least stay away from any store owned by Jordan Gandy and operated by first name "Edgar" ! read more

Just wanted to drop a 5 star rating for this UPS store: every employee (3 men, 1 female - not that it matters but that was the staff I encountered) was the epitome of exemplary customer service. And I should know: I recruit and train talent in the customer service industry. I should have recruited this staff! Everyone was friendly, courteous, willing to answer questions with patience - there was a long line (which moved fast) and it was the end of the day (when workers are tired and probably hungry).
