Avoid this place if you can! I dropped off my pre-labeled package here a couple times and each time they have been riduculously rude. When I asked for a receipt, I had three people gang up on me and say that they don't give receipts lol. Do not go to this store if you will mail to international areas using USPS through them. I have done it a few times, and only recently found out they charge 200% over what US Postal Service charges. I mailed a package of clothes to Singapore. This store charged me $93.20. The receiver told me the postage on the package was only $32.76. I know UPS may be more expensive, but 200%?! I also wrote to the USPS and the Post Master got back to me in 4 day. This UPS store told me they will find out whether there is an error on their computer pricing. But it has been more than 2 weeks and nothing from them. I even went back to the store to find out, again no answer. I waited this long before posting this negative review, hoping they will give me a satisfactory answer. But I believe I have given them sufficient time to get back to me by now I do not know if other UPS stores charge similar 200% surcharge, but I am not going to waste my time to find out. This UPS store ran by a family both wife and husband. This store is very much expensive everything. I dont have any more trust nor i will go back to this shop again. 1. I went to notarize one document and he charged me $20 (typically the standard charges are only $5 or max $10). 2. To send two pages international package, he said $89 but when i went to Fedex which is walkable from this store, they charged me only $63. This place is run by an Indian couple who wants nothing but MONEY!!! Simply rip off: They first give you a ridiculous quote which is wayyyy more expensive than USPS, THEN pretend to be nice, give you a "discount", tell you how much you "saved", when the discounted price is still much higher than USPS. I had 3 negative experiences with this UPS Store: 1) Drop off I paid postage for my computer at ups.com, and tried to drop it off at this UPS Store. The lady REFUSED TO ACCEPT the large package. I asked her why and she said THEY DON'T MAKE MONEY FOR DROPOFFS AND THE LARGE PACKAGE TAKES UP VALUABLE SPACE IN THEIR STORE!! For small package drop off, they will give you a dirty look as if you stole from their store. I filed a complaint to UPS later that day. No response 2) Shipping Multiple Packages I tried to ship multiple packages internationally under one bill of lading (one shipment). THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IMAGINABLE I have seen the reviews and thought nothing of this because I would just be in and out to pick up a package. Boy was I wrong. Dena had no customer service whatsoever and had no knowledge in handling the situation. Out of reading all the one star reviews you think by now working 3+ years they would be able to give decent customer service. This person was rude and all she could say was she couldn't help me and there was nothing for her to do. Was told that my package was there for pick up and when I arrive there was no package and again that she couldn't do anything about it. When re routing my package UPS had to told me that the lady didn't want to release it because she insisted I would have to go pick it up. Talk about wanting to be confrontational. Dour older Indian lady behind the counter. First tried to charge $25 for wrapping X-Box sized package. Then tried to sell me larger box and more packing material than I needed. Was disparaging when I opted for smaller box and less material. Shortly after I left store, I read these reviews and decided to go back for a refund to protest this manner of doing business. When I went back in, another potential customer was walking out in protest of the amount quoted to ship his small pre-packaged box. At first I was told no refund would be provided. Why not? No particular reason. Refund eventually given, grudgingly. I referenced poor Yelp rating - she waved her hand and said didn't care. Recommend avoid this shop. Mind you it takes $3.5 for them to print, not sure about taping. The owner even tried to justify the anti-customer practices. Not honest. Used them just to drop off a package that I already had a label for. It didn't get picked up for two days, and when I called them, they told me conflicting things. First, they said it didn't pick up because UPS was not working at all for two days during the holidays and they had 400-500 packages in their store that weren't picked up yet (including mine). UPS was definitely not off for two consecutive days. Then when I asked if I could pick my package up from their store, she changed the explanation and said that UPS picked up the package two days ago. She said the package was sitting in a truck somewhere because UPS was not moving packages off the trucks into the warehouses. This is also not true as packages are always scanned as soon as they are picked up by a driver. When I tracked my package the following day, it showed that it was picked up three hours after our phone call, not two days earlier. It's a bummer that I can't even trust a UPS store to tell me the truth. read more

I'm floored by the negative reviews. The Patels have been my "go to" folks for years. They are always helpful, run an efficient shop, and in my experience always helpful in reducing costs. As a customer sometimes in a rush, I appreciate that there is a priority system to move customers along who have a simple request or drop off while another customer may be completing paperwork or trying to determine what they, in fact, want to accomplish. As stated by another reviewer, I too, believe that "drop off" means drop off with no action required by store staff. I would be lost without the Patels and their considerate service. read more

I needed to ship something by either 1 day or 2 day mail, and I was given incorrect information regarding shipment rates of UPS vs USPS, and ended up choosing the wrong product for my shipment. Last week I had to mail out an expensive piece of equipment to a business associate and stopped into this local store since I was in the area. The Manager Nik was the one who helped me and I was so impressed with how efficient he was. I walked in, and he greeted me. Inquired with me what I needed and I told him I needed to ship something. He looked me up by my phone number, took down the address I wanted to send to, the insurance coverage I wanted, signature confirmation and gave me a quote. I confirmed it, swiped my credit card and heard my iphone beep with the confirmation and tracking # immediately. I am always short on time and don't like a lot of clutter, so I appreciate efficiency and electronic records/communication. Fairly rude behavior by the gentleman working at the front today. My wife returned several items that Amazon had shipped incorrectly to a wrong address and a neighbor helped us to get. Since there were several items, we brought in two boxes. After scanning the first item, the cashier said that it needed a box. He said he would tape this but we had to package next time or will be charged and my wife was confused because she said the instructions did not call out for a box. But, he kept telling my wife that she should read the instructions carefully which she normally does. We revisited the instructions and it was vague so we can write it off to our mistake. After scanning, my wife asked if he can dispose of the remaining box and he replied, "No, you have to take it out of here." I personally found that this person was not approachable and seemed contentious. The question on box disposal was merely because COVID rules have not been clear and it was a simple inquiry. A simple "No, we cannot take because of current restrictions" would be sufficient." Poor customer experience is never appreciated. read more

Beyond just dropping off Amazon packages, I come here for value added service. Pack and ship, Dina always takes care of me. I need 0 stars for this place as Kim. I went there with a huge box to return with my printed return paperwork and I had my tape in my car. I was going to get back to use it but she did not even let me talk and she automatically said they charge $1 to use their tape. I said now I understand why you guys had bad reviews expecting her to ask what for. It was totally the opposite! She said that means we are doing great in business as a store! Wanted to pick up package today. Came yesterday and it was still out with the UPS driver which is fine, I completely understand. The guy told me that they would be open until 5 on Saturdays. Failed to mention that the building is open until 5, but the package pickup area closes at 1. This post office is very out of the way for me too and it's a complete waste of my time to drive out here only to find that they aren't even open when they said. I get that it says everywhere that it's open until 5 on Saturdays because the building itself is open, but they should specify to people when the package pickup/delivery center is open and closed. I travel a lot, and ship a lot, so I've frequented a lot of different UPS Stores. They can be quite varied. This one is a stand out in terms of service and reliability. They're busy and somewhat no-nonsense, so that might bother some, but you can trust that they really care about your package. This is our second time coming to have notary in some documents. I have no complains, the lady is very nice and friendly. I do recommend this ups store to anyone and would come back again. I have no idea why this store has a 3 star review when it should frankly have 1. The family that owns this business is incredibly rude and charge CRAZY prices for their services. When I went there to pick up my amazon boxes, the lady told me "Do you have any businesses where you can use our services?", after responding " no" she then went on to tell me how she doesn't get any money when we pick up our amazon boxes and that we need to use their services because they are a "family run" business. It wasn't even a request but more of a demand that we use their services. I was absolutely shocked and appalled. Even after telling her that I wasn't interested, she kept on mentioning how they need money because they're a family run store until I had to very bluntly tell her that I have no intention of using her services. When you're talking to a customer, its incredibly unprofessional to be speaking to them like this. Not to mention, to be as rude and adamant as she was. Frankly, I don't mind helping our family owned or smaller businesses if they ask to leave a yelp review or even tell me about their services. Another money-hungry experience here. I went in to send out 5 postcards to Europe, they charged me $5.50 per postcard. I wasn't really thinking at the moment and just paid the amount because I was in a hurry. Afterwards, upon checking the receipt I was shocked with the extortionate price for a single postcard. I went back the day after to double check if the price was correct and got told that it was a service charge. I asked what kind of service this included and they said that it was because they don't have stamps at their store and they need "walk over to the post office to buy the stamps". I responded with saying that it is a very steep price for 'walking over' and they said they saved me time because the lines are always long at the post office. They should explain that there is a service costs before selling anything. When talking to the shop owner/manager she said she doesn't have to explain anything to customers about service charges although she did admit that their service charges for postal services are high. Nowhere in the store are the charges listed either. I find this ridiculous, prices of services should be clearly stated. She tried making a comparison between their extra charges and buying same things in difference grocery stores but at different prices. Apparently, everybody knows this and it is never argued about. There is a reason some stores offer price matches where they pay the difference if you can find the product somewhere cheaper... I was also the first person to come in their store unaware of their steep service charges apparently. Also, if they really cared about their customers they would have simply advised me to go the postal office that is a walk away clearly. I am sure that the $4.35 per postcard will not cause bankruptcy, in fact, it will make me a more likely customer in the future. Giving simple and honest advice like that creates trust and builds good customer relationships. Crucial in a business I would say. They offered me some form of compensation after talking for a while consisting out of a discount when I came in again to post something. I do have to remind them about the issue though, so nothing in writing/voucher or whatever. I am very disappointed in their service and the way they handled it. read more

I have visited this shop about 20 times over the last 5 years. ~60% of the time I drop off pre-paid packages, and the other ~40% I have something shipped, packed & shipped, or use their notary service (twice). I have always had good service from Dina and the other staff here. It is frustrating to be in line behind a customer with a complex task, or behind a customer who lengthens a simple task by repeatedly going through all the options, verbally ruminating on what option to choose, extensively sharing their opinions and frustrations and fears, etc. When I drop off a pre-paid package, I simply drop the package on the counter, smile, say hello and thank you to the clerk(s), and leave. On a couple rare occasions I have had a waiting customer glare at me for doing that, as if I were cheating. It's possible that one of those customers has left a negative Yelp review saying that the clerks take customers out-of-turn. I guess that is one way to vent frustration over having to wait in line behind another customer, but I don't think is fair to the shop or the team who works there. When I do drop-off pre-paid packages, I don't expect the shop to tape my packages. I don't think they receive any compensation for drop-offs. In any case, it is Ok with me for drop-off to mean drop-off. If you want to ship or pack & ship a package, or your want notary service, I have found Dina and the team in this shop to be competent and caring in getting it done for you. read more
