I have been using this UPS store for many years now. I took two bags of documents to shred and was delighted to find I could put the items in the bin myself instead of having someone else handle the documents. We use this facility for personal mailing, business mailing, notary services, Amazon returns, and now shredding. Over the years, we have become friends with the owner, Talal, and his daughter. The past two years, Talal has been battling cancer. I choose UPS for mailing because USPS and FedEx have lost credibility with me. The local owners are adhering to the franchise requirements from UPS; they are not the ones who decide the costs. Amazon returns have specific requirements that are emailed when items are returned; believe me, I've learned the hard way! I recently had to drop off a large package at the UPS Store and was unaware that the store opened at 9 am on Saturdays. I had several errands to run and a tight work schedule, so I was in a bit of a rush. When I arrived, an employee saw me even though she was busy inside. To my surprise, she willingly came out to help me and took care of my package, despite the store not being open yet. I truly appreciate her going out of her way to assist me during such a hectic morning. To provide a label to mail their own UPS package they charge a service fee that equals $900/hour (took clerk 5 seconds to provide) + printing fee + tax. while other stores provide the label free. Note the label was already completed and paid for online, so they didn't even need to input any info. The clerk was rude, sarcastic, and curt. They asked for cash payment rather than take a credit card. Their printing/copy fees are 25% to 40% more than that of others including Office Depot and Staples. read more

I had an 18 box order that the UPS driver failed to pick up at our office so I loaded up my van front to back and headed to the UPS Store on 33rd and Boulevard. The Manager there would only take 6 of my boxes so not wanting to split the shipment I found this store on 2nd Street. The gentleman working the counter, though surprised at the volume of boxes, welcomed me and took the entire shipment with no fuss.
