I've been coming here for years. Most of the time I come in to handle returns for our home. My mom loves Amazon and it shows. The returns aren't always super clear but I usually try to organize it as best as I can cause I know it's frustrating to deal with. Had an awful experience where I got talked down to during the process. Told that "I should help them to help myself" or that I was lucky that the store was empty like I already wasn't trying my best. It was an empty store aside from one other customer making a pickup. I felt stupid and embarrassed. After several of these comments. I packed the rest of my returns and went to another store. visited the UPS store at 3984 Washington Boulevard in Fremont and had a very frustrating experience. I don't have a printer at home, so I asked the staff for help printing a label. The employee just pointed at the computer and told me I had to do it myself. When I asked if she could assist me, she refused. Then, I needed just a simple piece of tape to seal my box, and she said I'd have to pay $6.99 for it, even though a roll of tape costs just a dollar at other stores. I ended up spending half an hour there just to send one package because the service was so unhelpful and unfriendly. I understand that store policies exist, but basic customer service should be a priority. If the owners see this, I hope they realize that a little courtesy goes a long way. Horrible service. Had to call many, many times thru out the day just for them to pick up. I needed to file a claim, because a package they printed a label for and shipped from that location is nowhere to be found. I talked to the owner who got my email and would follow up with me. I go in later to inquire about the claim and the kid there is useless. I have to explain to him multiple times the issue. He tells me he can't help me, the manager is out for a week and the owner comes and goes as he pleases. Word of advice to the owner. Cross train your employees, explain to them what empathy is and inform your employees of your work day. Still waiting to hear back. read more

Every time I come in and he's there, he makes inappropriate jokes. I've told him to please refrain from saying offensive things to me, but he doesn't seem to understand. Not sure if he has a mental disability, but regardless of that, the manager/owner should rectify this ongoing issue. I've been a regular customer at this UPS Store for over 10 years, but today's experience left me truly disappointed. I came in with four Amazon returns--Amazon had indicated that the UPS Store would pack, label, and ship them. The items were already in their original packaging and just needed a strip of tape to seal two of the boxes. When I asked the clerk for assistance, he told me taping would incur an extra charge. I asked why, and he explained it would cost $5--for a single strip of tape, roughly 24 inches. I even told him I was happy to pay a reasonable amount, but $5 for a single piece of tape felt excessive. He eventually offered to tape one box "as a courtesy," but insisted he'd charge for the other. At that point, I said I'd just take the box and handle it myself and mentioned I wouldn't be returning after this experience. Without saying a word, he then taped the second box and handed me my receipts for all four packages. What's especially frustrating is that this was the same clerk who's usually joking around when I come in. I've often felt uncomfortable dealing with him, but the store's convenience kept me coming back. The owner has always been great, but this particular employee seriously lacks basic customer service skills and common sense. I came here last Wednesday to complete a fingerprint live scan for the state board. I called the day before the schedule an appointment. I was happy that they had appointments for the next day. Not sure what a live scan averages at, but the live scan cost $74. I was assisted by Binder. He was very kind, patient, and kept a friendly conversation going during the entire process. We shipped 22k gold worth more than $10000. The store people stole this jewelry and shipped the empty box. We did insurance (declared value program) and were struggled alot to get the claim filed. After 2 months of claim process, ups denied the claim. We did file police complaint immediately after seeing the box empty. Please be careful while using this shop. Any positive reviews in this shop are false and being written by owner with different accounts. Navneet Bhalla, from store franchise misguided us during the claim process and we had to lose 22k gold around 100g. What the heck was going on with the service on Friday. Rude workers, getting charged $2 just for one strand of tape on my box, and selling me used boxes from the back was absurd. I recently purchased a box so I could put my recent belongings in, but noticed they just went to the back, didn't even bother looking for a new box to use, and used a random old Amazon box with the Amazon tape on it still. It's also crazy how they charged me $20 for a used box. They weren't even trying to hide the fact it was a used box. This location is convenient and easy to make quick, drop offs. I tend to stop by at least once a week here. There is another location nearby but that place always has a long line. I just want to go in, drop off and be on my way. This is the place for quick service. They are nice and efficient. Every time I go in there the staff makes you feel welcome.
