The UPS Store - Printing Services Near Me - Fremont, California

I got a few packages shipped through this store and two recent shipment I run into very bad experience. One lost international package and one delayed international express package (guaranteed return). After things happened, the owner said he can't do anything as a "middleman" and simply blame everything to the UPS and USPS. No refund for either package so far. Strongly suggest ship through the USPS a block away, which is much after and cheaper. read more

I used this place to return an item to Amazon. The item never reached Amazon. Trouble is I found out after 30 days when Amazon notified me and charged me. I am not going to go back and make up an issue. I am sure the owner is going to give me a blank look on their faces. Lesson learnt. read more

I needed to get one of my employees fingerprinted. And I was asked to go here, as the results have always been not more than a week!! I didn't know you needed an appointment but they were nice enough to take her without an appointment. Low and behold- we only got it done yesterday and she was cleared today!!!! I'm so happy. We have had a nightmare since she got fingerprinted back in Jan and We waited almost 2 months for it to get cleared. Not sure if it was the place she went to in Jan. So glad !! This has always been my go to spot to print out documents because they have always made it a really easy process. But today I had a really bad experience that made me feel DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. All I wanted to do was to print out a few sheets. Usually I go up to the counter, where they provide an email for me to send my documents to and within a few minutes they are printed out, I pay , and I'm quickly out the store. Today was the complete opposite. When my boyfriend and I walked in, we were the only customers in the store. I asked the employee if I could print out a few documents. She immediately redirected me to a computer to figure it out myself. (Mind you in order to use the computer, you get charged $1.29 every 5 minutes ). I asked her if I could just email them to the store, (how I usually do) and another employee got into the conversation and just told me to use the computer. After that, I didn't mind, I assumed that they just got a new system for printing. Since it was my first time using their computer, I found it complicated and was confused on how to upload my documents. So I asked the employee for help and he seemed confused himself. He just told me to log off and start the whole process over. I asked AGAIN if I could just email my documents to the store, since usually it's an easier process but the employee told me that their printer was busy and that he couldn't do it that way. I wasn't really upset about that nor the fact that I was having to pay to use the computer UNTIL I realized that they had helped out 3 other customers after me print out their documents. I overheard the employee tell the other customers to just simply email their documents to the store and they were quickly printed out. I was still struggling to upload my documents, meanwhile the same employee had already helped out 3 other customers with the same service I had asked him for help with. Once I realized that, my boyfriend went up to him and asked him why he wasn't helping us out, but he was helping everyone that came in after us & he acted confused. After that the owner came out and tried helping us out , but by then, we were already upset, so we just asked for our money back and left. I have never been the type of person to leave a negative review before, but it made me really upset that they made me and my boyfriend feel discriminated against. read more

Everyone knows about the prices already so to say that this place is overpriced, is not the store's fault. Coming here, Albert was very friendly to me. Being in a rush and not shipped with UPS without a prepaid label, he made it very easy for me to give him my information and my destination address. I could've done it online, but it was a last minute choice to do a return and I appreciate his patience and kindness to help me do this task. Parking is abundant but troublesome with the amount of traffic that goes by, making it dangerous to back up if you're not paying attention! This is a great place to go in and out, but I could see it getting potentially busy during peak hours and holidays due to it being a smaller store so take care to keep that in mind. read more

I'm a little late writing this but wanted to make sure I did. I brought my dad here weeks ago for fingerprints. He had to get several sets done. Now something that would maybe have taken just a few minutes for anyone else, took us a lot longer because my dad has advanced Parkinson's and has limited hand/finger control. I was worried that the staff would get annoyed but it turned out to be the opposite. Shailesh Gandhi took care of us the whole time with so much patience. Saw yelp today again and this ups store seems overall review went down ? Well, I wanna stand out after visiting them soo many times in past 1-2 years. They are friendly and I especially like the gentleman who probably the store manager there. Overall employees service there are nice too. I like this store in our neighborhood, we show respect to each other and appreciate their service! P.s I drop off probably 10 times package in past half year without asking a receipt, so far I'm good. Find some another store, don't go there. I sent a package to neighbor country and these UPS store people messed it up so badly. The lady at the counter didn't explain any international politics and on the top put totally wrong value of the item. When I called to correct it the nasty owner didn't accept it and said oh now you don't want to pay the custom that's why blaming on us My god I was surprised to heat all that from him, first place what custom he was talking: it was gift not commercial package they made huge mistake and never accepted it, I had to suffer and paid for their mistake. I really hate that this is the UPS store in the neighborhood. This place seems to family owned and since it is they don't value any kind of customer service . The woman with curly hair is always rude every single time I go in . I now try to avoid this place completely and just pack any ups items in my car so I can do it on my way home from work in a different city that's how bad this place is . I paid for my shipment and provided the address to the manager of the store. He entered the address into their system and printed it out, to be stuck on to the envelope that was to be shipped. My parcel didn't reach the destination for many days, so I followed up with the UPS store in that city. They said they could not identify the address as printed on the label. When I called this Fremont UPS store, they mentioned, their printer acts funny at times and it printed the last line of the address on top and the street at the bottom, which is why the parcel was not delivered. It is ridiculous, that they knew about this problem with their printer and yet they accepted my shipment which cost me lot. I had to send time sensitive important documents and it didn't reach on time. What a shame! On requesting a refund, the manager of the store 'Mr. Shailesh' said he couldn't issue me a refund too. Please be careful the next time you decide to send anything through this store. They enter the address correctly into the system however the printer prints the address incorrectly. They are aware of it and yet cheat their customers. Its high time they fix all their system issues. read more

The employees/management here are friendly and quick to help you, making my experience here a pleasant one! They do charge you for every little thing though, so don't be lazy (like I was) and tape your labels to your boxes at home so you don't waste $2 on a few pieces of tape lol read more

The one star is for convenience. This store sucks. It's over priced and they only care about the money they get - NOT the service. They charge A LOT for printing and do not connect with their customers. The only reason I ever come here is if I'm in a rush because I can print something out myself even though I know I will be charged about 4-5 dollars for ONLY 3-5 papers printed out. This is my preferred UPS store. A lot of nice guys and great service. I hardly waited long to get served here. Quality service. Printing cost is slightly higher. Cost to use their computer is not reasonable. They do have a notary service too. Mr. Gandhi who is the notary there, is a well knowledge person. Always approached him when the notary instructions are not clear or complicated. Would recommend him any day. read more

i've lived in Fremont for over a year now, and i've been to this UPS store (which is NOT the one that is most convenient to my location but is definitely the one i prefer to go to) on many occasions for a variety of different needs, from my passport and fingerprints, to faxing and mailing, to printing brochures and other miscellaneous things that just pop up... Michelle and the staff are great, and even before i became a "regular" i was always treated very well and saw a lot of hard work and effort going into each job. i've been internet savvy for quite some years now, but i only review places and services that i'm all for. this is one of them. unfortunately, some places get a bum rep through no fault of the staff, but of the company. pay attention enough and you'll be able to tell the difference. at this location, i'm not saying my experience was perfect all the time here, but when it wasn't, it wasn't the staff's fault, it was some glitch in the company's system or workflow or technology. they always do everything to the best of their abilities, and i appreciate it a lot. read more

I agree with many of these reviews. There are 2 ladies working there. The older one is very nice and professional. But thats not even why im writing this review. I went here to ship a keyboard and they wanted to charge me over $60. I said F that. I went to the post office not too far away. I shipped the SAME keyboard for less than $30!! Even with delivery confimation! If i added insurance it still would have been cheaper than the UPS store. I dont think ill ever ship through UPS again if i can help it. I sent a one of a kind piece of hand thrown pottery to Indiana. I used them because I wanted it packed so it would arrive not broken. I should have done it myself. Packed inbubble wrap, no peanuts. In a box bigger than items sent which enabled it to be crushed because it wasnt labeled fragile breakables. I wont use this location again. I will do my self or go to the Hub shipping store. More to come when I see what they are going to do. I am very pleased with results. They reimbursed me the cost of the pottery and I am very happy. I will however think twice before shipping from this locations unless I pack it myself. read more

This is not my normal UPS store I just happened to be in the area and needed to mail a package. The staff was very friendly the set up was super user friendly. They have a desk top compuert that u can use for a small fee. They have a work area if u need to package up stuff. I liked it. read more

This tiny UPS Store is the closest one for me. It isn't anything to rave about, but it definitely will get the job done. The staff here (two ladies and one gentleman) can usually help you out, although I'm not a big fan of either of their bedside manners. (I do not know much about them but I feel that most of the times I visit this location, they do not seem to be happy to be working there.) Also, I would recommend that if you came into this UPS Store, you knew exactly what you want and what you are doing. Everything goes much faster that way, and you're likely to walk out happy and productive. :) I've never had a problem just coming in and dropping off a package to the staff and getting a receipt. Had a good experience. I don't usually ship things but this time I had a device to send in for repairs. Had no clue, printed my shipping label and brought an old box amazon shipping box (old shipping labels removed). Guy there (not sure if he was the manager seemed like it though) said I could use the box and gave me a plastic sleeve for my shipping label (free)! I asked him if I could just use crumpled binder paper in place of packing peanuts, he told me if I was packing it I could do what I wanted. He also mentioned that the store would pack it for me and also use the bubble wrap too for just $2 ( I had him do it for me, didn't want to risk anything). Was in and out minus a little waiting from the line. Note: A lot of people mentioned tape being expensive here. Bring your own tape to save yourself a couple bucks! Also they provide you with a receipt (big sticker for some reason). KEEP It! That receipt will help a lot in the case of lost packages (compensation and whatnot). Currently waiting for package to arrive to destination. Will edit once package arrives at facility. read more

I've come here a few times for drop offs and service has always been quick and easy. There's barely ever been a wait and the staff is very friendly. Parking can be tricky since there are a bunch of small businesses in the area, and big businesses (i.e. Safeway), but the lot is usually big enough to accommodate if you don't mind a little walking. read more

Very helpful, friendly and fair service. They are not there to give things away for free. I understand feeling frustrated if they need to charge for the smallest things, however, that's their business. It isn't like they make money when you come in with pre paid postage and them task them with sending your package. Imo, they've always been fair and gone above and beyond what they "should" be doing, plenty of times. read more
