I like to use this ups store but it is very hard to get in there door I am non ambulatory in a wheelchair and have always had trouble getting into this store. Today while positioning my chair to force there door open I got stuck between one door slamming shut on me and oops the other door wedge me solid so I could not be freed I was stuck there until passerby came to my rescue and when I went to leave I was afraid to go out there door. So I backed out and had to use force of my chair to get out. The employee there just watched without a care in the world. Maybe adjust the spring tension so it is not so strong to slamming shut on it's own ? read more

Giving this busy busy place 5 stars because it's my go-to UPS store, and honestly number 1 UPS location of all (my) time. I don't have to mess around with a home printer, - printing here is cheap and far easier to use and manage compared to places like Staples. The staff at this UPS store have always spoken to me with patience and detail, addressing my specific questions, despite how full it gets midday. I love how quick and easy I can drop off my Amazon returns and not feel bad about it :) Being honest I'd be up the creek with no paddle if this place wasn't here, you know what the traffic is like in Montgomery County trying to get any errand or paperwork done. read more

I've been here multiple times and the staff is always friendly, courteous and personable!. A young gentleman with long hair helped me through a process to compete something for my job and his level of customer service was excellent. Then I had to come back a second round and a young lady by the name of Taylor who happened to be short staffed that day provided outstanding customer service. She greeted and acknowledged everyone that came in, was very polite, was great at multitasking and made everyone feel welcomed. It's people like her that make companies run well and I think her level of expertise shouldn't go unnoticed (PROMOTION, PROMOTION, PROMOTION!!). Ups in general is great but the goshen maryland store is poorly managed and poorly run. Constant machines down or system down. We inadequate staff or staff not trained properly. Tried to renew a PO Box at least four times and the person who supposedly knew how was never there. Countless times I've mailed and had to wait on very long lines. There is better out there but they are the closest so I tend to tolerate but they'd have more business if they managed it better. I avoid it if i can. read more

I went to this store to get a signature notarized on a document. There were 6 other places for the other property owners to sign and get notarized. The UPS notary guy said that it was illegal and that all owners had to be present. The previous week I had gone to my bank and gotten 5 signatures notarized for the sale of this property. Unfortunately this bank notary was on vacation this week. The other owners in various states did the same. I called the title company whose business is making sure the sale of property is legal and they said this is legal. The UPS guy is making up laws. Stay away from this UPS store. read more

I was at this location to buy stamps Last week. The gentleman at the front told me they didnt sell rolls just booklets which was fine with me but he seemed to have some trouble ringing it up and asked the manager in the back for help when they rung up my order it was $14 per booklet. But also noticed he had crumbled up the receipt. I needed more stamps as they didnt have enough and went to Giant grocery next door. Booklets were $11 there. I subsequently returned the ones I bought at UPS and when asked for my receipts back he said he needed to keep them for the return. I also went to USPS that day who charged me $55 for a roll of stamps. As far as i know places are not supposed to up charge for stamps. I dont trust this location anymore. read more

Don't bother with this is place. Last year the store was sold to new ownership and it just haven't been the same since. All of the original super helpful staff are gone and the current ones are clearly beyond afraid of the new boss lady. The now Korean owner will try to nickel and dime you every way possible. You can't even drop off a pre-paid package without them figuring out some way to make you pay for something. They will give you the whole "not up to UPS shipping standards" speech which is just another way of them trying to repackage your box with some more tape and foam peanuts. A strip of clear tape will cost you a buck. What the buck?! Avoid, avoid, avoid. There are other places you can do your UPS business at that doesn't leave you feeling like you've been ripped off. read more

This is a convenient location for me. The clerk was helpful. I already had everything packed securely and I knew the services I wanted, tracking and insurance. My only hesitation was that I noticed there was a wall of packages with labels sitting atop them (the labels didn't appear to be affixed to the packages) and it seemed that the clerk was going to take the box from me without sticking on the label, so I asked him to do it in front of me. (Really didn't want to risk my box being misdirected). That was my only hesitation about the transaction. read more

I called UPS claims and was told that i had to go to the store and file my claim. The same manger again handled my case and refused to listen to the situation and claim claim any responsibility. This place is the worst!! They charge for everything. I tried to mail two items together and was told by the incompetent worker that they had to be mailed separate. The two pieces together make a pedestal worth over a grand, but by themselves they aren't worth much. The worker could not understand that concept and insured each piece for $500, when I needed both pieces together. I told the worker that I wanted to wait to mail it. The next day I talked to a manager who was equally as rude as the employee I originally dealt with. The manager refused to give me a refund and blamed me for the confusion. Very rudely the man told me that theirs is a franchise totally independent of UPS, he was wearing a UPS Store shirt. I asked if there was an 800 number to contact UPS. On two separate occasions I've dropped off a very expensive acoustic guitar and told it would be picked up that day. Both times the guitar wasn't picked up and it sat there for two days. When I went back to pick up the guitar, and arrange other shipping, the extremely rude, insolent, arrogant and frankly dangerous employee who said his name was Anthony refused to return the guitar to me saying that once it was in their possession I couldn't get it back. This is of course totally untrue and it took me several calls finally to the UPS Store Corporate Headquarters to force this maniac to return my guitar. The UPS Rep said that "He just didn't feel like getting it" is why he lied through his teeth to me. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and UPS in hopes that this 'Employee' will be severely disciplined or fired. read more

Absolutely horrible service - rude and deceptive employees. These people could care less about the customer experience. The customer is always wrong and they will do nothing to remedy a problem - even when it is their fault. I paid for priority shipping and they let the package sit in their facility for several days before they shipped it. I went in with my receipt and asked for some kind of reconciliation and they would not acknowledge the problem and didn't even say "sorry". Will never set foot in this store again and would encourage others to be wary of their "services" before paying the hefty prices for a very poor promised delivery. read more

I have been an ongoing customer at this store for over 4 years. The owner, John Lim,sent me a past-due renewal notice, when, in fact, my account shows a renewal date for next month. He stated that the person last year who renewed my box was not his employee. In the same thread, he states that this employee was fired for making mistakes. He stated that the renewal date was past due and refused to honor his employee's mistake. He wrote some very unprofessional responses, and he was adamant that they would not honor the mistake made, and were demanding payment or have the account closed in just 3 days. I made every effort to reason with him, and he was unreasonable. Having been a customer for four years was of no merit for a 90 day difference in renewal dates. I also had a card containing a gift card go missing, a pre-paid Visa card for forwarding mail go missing, and other important mail has been unaccounted for. read more
