Guess business has been slow. I was charged $30 to mail a small package. Insurance was $4.00 rest was for standard shipping. When asked about the rate it was blamed on the receiver, not the destination. I happen to have peeled the original shipping label off before mailing and looked at it when I got home and it was half the cost of what I was charged. Doubt if I will return here. The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

My package was delivered to this location and signed for by "Basil" or "Basile" at 11:08am. I went to pick it up at 12:15pm and the lady insisted the package was not there and "Must still be on the truck." When I asked about having the package delivered to my house she said that is wasn't possible. I call UPS and sure enough it was there and signed for by the same women who insisted is wasn't there and they are delivering my package again to my home. Which I was told wasn't a option. read more

January 8th, I dropped off 3 items. 2 items went to Amazon as a return and 1 item was going to Tmobile. The Amazon packages both made it to their destination. The Tmobile package, a phone, an expensive package never made it back. I erred by not saving my receipt and had misplaced it by the time we realized the phone was missing. I was informed they can't reprint the receipt...everything is stored on computers so that makes perfect sense. Either way, at this point, I have filed my research request. I am told it's tough. I am now going to have to pay for a phone. $1200.00 I won't go back to this store. If you have anything with obvious value, shipper beware..... update.... I got a very nice response from this store. It stated, as I already knew better receipt is provided. And I am aware that I lost my receipt. It's still a concern to me that of three items that were taken that day to The UPS store the two that were clearly of lower value made it to their destination. I called twice in regards to this. Once at the beginning of February and was told I needed to file a claim with UPS which I have done back then. Once today when I asked if a reprint of the receipt is possible and was told it is not. At the end of the day I'm going to be the one that has to pay the $1,200 fee for the missing phone. Unless the information given to me previously about getting a receipt after the fact was incorrect I'm not really sure what else this store can do for me short of finding how my phone was misplaced. read more

The customer service is terrible. I've shipped UPS for years. They supply UPS containers and envelopes at no charge. I brought in an Amazon item to be returned. Small, envelope size. The kid at the front desk wanted me to buy an envelope for $3.69 plus tax versus giving me one of the free supplied UPS envelopes. That was over 50% of the return's value. Wasted my time in line and will absolutely never return to this store again, nor will I let friends and neighbors know where it is when I'm asked. Talk about myopia. read more

This UPS store is privately own and operated by two owners that always great you with a smile and provide great service every time I stop in.... which is daily! Since their computer is down I'm supposed to sit and wait for them because they can't fax it for the same price, which if they had good customer service, they would have simply faxed it for the same price instead of making me wait 20 minutes for their system to reboot which is their fault not mine. The people at this location, a former "Mail Boxes, Etc." business are very friendly and go out of their way to provide exceptional service. Recently, my wife ordered two new commodes for our house from a plumbing supplier and had them shipped by truck to our home location. Somehow, the shipper used our credit card billing address for the ship to address in error. Our mail gets delivered at this UPS Store location... The staff at The UPS Store accepting this shipment of two very large crates from a common carrier trucking company, called us up and then when we got there loaded the crates into the pickup truck we borrowed. And these crates were VERY HEAVY! Kudos to the UPS Store for being exceptionally focused on their customers! We have used ths location for 6 years.. read more

I shipped a bunch of Albuterol my aunt gave me. This is illegal. The UPS store handled it for me though. And for under 20 bucks. There was a lot of Albuterol. Like too much for me to ever use. But again, UPS handled it for me. Now my lungs will be as open as sunroofs...unless it's cold or raining. Then that metaphor doesn't really work. read more

BEWARE! Our package that we paid express international to arrive in 5 days was still sitting on their counter 7 days later when we returned to check on status. The cost to ship this was over $100, needless to say... the deadline was missed and the store would only agree to refund half the cost. I'm absolutely outraged and will never use their services again. We did use this company for two businesses, and our personal use and have now changed our shipping needs to Star Mail on Higley and Baseline. read more

Comment : To the owner of this location of UPS. I frequent your store often for my personal and professional business. Today was very frustrating as I attemped to have my work related docs scanned and emailed for my employer. Your store has a 2nd class scanner machine (low quality) that would not work no matter how many times the poor guy behind the counter attempted to for me, never mind there was a long line of people all the way to the door and only one person working with no help available. This is the 2nd time I have experienced trouble trying to scan something there, I just won't be able to come back. Very frustrating since it is near my home. People wouldn't mind waiting in line if the quality of the service was worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful but lack the resources to do the job. read more
