Sean, who works at the UPS store is amazing, he helped me out so much with what I need to be helped with. He was so amazing and so thoughtful, not to mention he knew his way around the store, and was beyond friendly when I came into the store. He was so helpful and he is a prime example of an excellent employee. He makes this UPS store great, he made it vibrant, enjoyable, even in the little time I was in there. We need more people like Sean working everywhere, I hope he gets his praise and raise in his future endeavors. read more

I'm conflicted on this one! This place could be a 4 star rating for the most part. We've had an account here for over a year and some days there's an amazing girl who's friendly and helpful. Sometimes one of the owners helps you and, even with a bit of a language and culture barrier, they seem happy to have you there. But they have one particular guy, who is there most of the time and he looks mad, unhappy to be there, he's often rude and simply unfriendly. Now if this was a free service, fine. But this is a rather expensive service to have, so you expect to be treated well, like you're appreciated. And I'm never one to call for someone to be removed from a position, but at least deal with the attitude, as it constantly makes me consider driving to a farther location just to feel better about where I do business. Hopeful that things will change and have suggested it in the past, but after 14 months, sadly I'm afraid we're stuck with what we've got. The service they provide is good and consistent, just the customer interaction is not always great. read more

I have had a PO box at this UPS store for 10 years. The new management is TERRIBLE. As a small business owner, I discontinued my yearly PO Box as their rates doubled and I needed to cut costs. While the associate Henry was helpful, Kevin the owner is not. I returned the extra key that I paid $5 for and he refused to refund me $5.00! Really?! I will never use this UPS store again. Word of mouth gets around Kevin. Your customer service is non-existent and may your business follow. read more

This place has gotten very greedy. I had to return an Amazon item. Amazon sent the label and this place charged me $2.31 to print the label even though amazon pays for the shipping. Way to stick it to the consumer. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Shipping anything gives me anxiety, for some reason. I never know what it will cost, how much to insure for, what my options are, etc. And I hate going to the post office, which explains why I sat on three packages for so long... Fast forward to an Amazon return that's "as easy as dropping it off at UPS!" Okay, fine. I'll go. I'm so glad I brought my other three packages in with my Amazon return. Very unfriendly and unwelcoming. This is so sad, because UPS #200 used to have great staff who would go out of their way to be accommodating, thoughtful, and courteous - and very friendly. Now, the fact that I have items shipped there seems to annoy them. I used to recommend people use a UPS store to provide them a street address rather than P.O. Box for business purposes. I've been using UPS to print shipping labels for years. This location charges $2 per label printed REGARDLESS of the label being for UPS. Other locations I've been to have never charged to print their own labels. And all USPS labels have been less than $1.00 per label. When I inquired about the difference in prices with different location, the best answer I got was UPS is a franchised business. I do not recommend this UPS store to anyone. Drive the extra 5 minutes to go somewhere else. read more

I shipped a package from this location on Saturday and as of Wednesday afternoon the UPS tracking number only shows a label was created for it, with no tracking information. I called the store to see if it was picked up and if they knew anything, The guy in the phone says they are just a franchise and can't help me so I need to call UPS directly which I did and they won't let you speak to anyone directly just an automated answer that a label has been created for your package. The whole process was frustrating and I still have no idea where my package is. read more

Horrible customer service!! If you want any service at all DON'T GO HERE!!! I needed to ship a laptop and was sent a UPS Laptop box system. Yesterday I took it in to this location for some help putting it together as I wasn't sure how and I wanted to ensure the safety of the laptop. When I walked in the guy sitting on the stool barely looked up, I asked if he could help put it together, his reply "no", so I asked follow up questions on how to do it, his reply was "never seen one, I don't know". No kidding these were his exact replies with no additional help! I wanted to tell him...It's a fricken UPS Laptop box...don't you work for UPS ? I finally asked for a manager or the owner, a young girl came out and had attitude as well so I just asked for the owners name and number. As I walked out the guy told me sarcastically "have a great day" with a big smirk. I left him with a few choice words!!! If I didn't have to use UPS, I would have gone right across the street to FEDEX KINKO'S they are always so nice and know how to treat a customer!! Needless to say, I took my package down the street to another UPS location and the guys were great, very helpful and I was out the door in 5 min!! read more

I just went I. TO send a package the cheapest way to NJ, the box was light, it had two pairs of pajamas and a box of Russell stover chocolates in the box, they wanted to charge me 45 dollars to ship this to my mom, then they used a smaller box and transferred my belongings, and it was $25.00. Usually a package like that would cost no more than 15 dollars. I used to ship from this location before the new owner took over, and I never had a problem, but now I would not use this location. read more

Last week I paid to have an important document overnighted. It was time sensitive and not cheap. The next day, I was told it never arrived. I stopped in and they discovered there had been thunderstorms causing it to be delayed. Add in the Fourth of July and it was two days late. I had also paid to have a return label in the envelope. Since it was late, the document was void, and the return label wasn't needed. I eventually did get a refund for the return label, but not to send it out. A lot went wrong in this. A bad situation happened because the document wasn't delivered on time. But I must say, Daniel, the young man who was helping me, was wonderful. He did everything he could to try to find any and all solutions, leading up to as much of my money as I could get back. I'm disappointed that my document wasn't delivered on time, but the service I got from Daniel was amazing. read more

Just tried to send a small box and they would not honor discount. Even though I went online to verify this promo discount they looked at me as if I was asking for a lot. This location always has an issue when I go there. I will travel twice as far to ship in the future. They act privileged. Man at the front was very rude to me and did not help me with my packages while it was pouring snow and I couldn't open the door with the big package in my hands and proceed to say as I finally got the door open "I mean I would help you if it wasn't so cold outside". The satellite post-office in HR having recently closed, I was looking for postal services nearby. I called this UPS location to ask if they offered mail services, and was told they did. I was charged $1.98 to mail a Mother's Day card!!! Now granted, it was embossed, but I have sent a similar card from the post-office at the regular rate. AT NO POINT was I informed that UPS applies a surcharge for mail services. The clerk was rude/short, and only said that "extra postage" applied to the card, because it was fancy. UPS customer service offered no resolution, only confirming that a surcharge applies for mail services, at the franchise's discretion. In this case, that's a 300% mark-up. Shame on me for not taking back my card, but bad karma on them for being GREEDY AND DISHONEST. read more

This is my second time to this location. The employees are not trained; the management impatient and rude. The store has zero customer service skills. When sending a package, most people would like the name of the person you are sending it to, to be spelled correctly. They couldn't seem to get it right after I wrote it down and verbalized it multiple times. The response was "Jesus, you know it will get there". Okay, but maybe you should let people create their own address labels, if you don't care to make it right. The manager then tried to charge me $20.00 for one of my packages. I took it to the post office and was charged $10.00, and it will arrive earlier. Not sure if adding a few bucks to each transaction is how they stay in business. This location is convenient for my business, but I will now frequent the UPS store on University. read more

Lesson learned. I've been bitten TWICE by this location. They are 3x more to ship than USPS for an identical package. Then today, they ring me up for a package and ignore me when I say I have a corporate number for shipping. When he's done ignoring me, he hits me with a cost. When I ask about the corporate account, the kid says "we don't ship with corporate accounts, there has been a rise in fraud recently with those." 1st - would have been nice to know up upfront, because I was. 2nd, what business are you in? I'll never visit this store again. I had to simply drop off a package earlier this summer that I was returning to Amazon. There were a couple of employees in the back when I entered the store. The one who came out to help me seemed bothered that I was there. Without saying a word he scanned the package, set it aside and started to walk to the back of the store. If you desire your packages to go to wrong addressees due to total and complete incompetence (misspelled labels affixed to the wrong package) by two young men or if you would like to voice your displeasure with the Manager as a result of their poor service, then continue to use this UPS Store. In my case two packages went to the wrong people that had gifts and personal notes within at great consternation to me. After explaining the circumstance to the Manager (who was seated on boxes behind the counter with his knees tucked under his chin) I did not get so much as an apology -- unless an "I hear you" should be interpreted as same. He only identified himself as Manager when he became disturbed that I was addressing a well-dressed and neatly appearing woman who I assumed was the Manager. "Why are you speaking to her when I am the Manager" was his way of identifying himself as such -- well into my explanation of what had happened. I will never do business with this bunch again! The WORST UPS STORE ON THE PLANET. If I could give it negative stars, I would. My package was 3 days late and when I called to ask for a copy of my receipt to dispute the charge, the rude employee told me off and hung up on me. When I called back he wouldn't answer the phone. My husband called from another phone and this same gentleman then threatened my husband and told him that if we ever came back in to the store, "there would be problems". I have never met a more rude employee in my life. I questioned the price which was 25$ more than the last time I had shipped the same thing in the same box. He said I could go somewhere else and then proceeded to rip up my tickets and told me he wasn't shipping it. If you own the store you may want to reevaluate your employee situation. Every time I have been in there both guys are incredibly rude and obviously don't want to be there. To go somewhere else is only at university so I suggest everyone avoid the hassle and just start somewhere else. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE AT ANY STORE, EVER. Yelp, please allow negative stars!!! I had been mailing packages overseas at this same UPS Store location for months, with the same price every time. One Saturday I tried to mail the same size package to the same location....and the price had shot up to something ridiculously high. I was very polite and explained that it made no sense. The manager, a blonde girl who looked very young to me to be managing the store, started out friendly - but it was some explanation that made no sense, like the postal service had stopped the lower-cost option I had been using??? I finally left with my package. I was so angry I called a nearby UPS Store and told the guy where I wanted to ship my package and asked about how much it would cost. He quoted something much cheaper like the old price. I told him about the manager at this Broadway location and he immediately said she didn't understand how to get to the old lower cost option, and briefly explained to me what she needed to do. I called the Broadway location back and this time, another girl answered the phone. I very calmly and politely asked for the manager and said I had info that might help, and SHE LITERALLY STARTED YELLING AT ME OVER THE PHONE. It was about how rude I had been, etc etc. I hung up and called a 3rd UPS Store just to see the price they would quote....and it was the lower price. I emailed UPS Store headquarters and reported the Broadway location. I also wrote up a letter to the Broadway store owner and put it in a sealed envelope. A few days later, I called and asked if the owner was in, and the manager told me Yes. I said I wanted to speak to her and was on my way. I drove over immediately, and when I arrived in 10min the owner was mysteriously gone. I gave the envelope to the rude manager and I'd be shocked if she didn't just toss it in the garbage. This store is awful. I can't believe how unprofessional and incompetent they are. I can't believe the owner would allow employees to yell at customers. I would never set foot in this store again. I'm told the same owner owns another UPS Store on Broadway so I won't set foot in any UPS Stores on Broadway. read more
