I went in for a live scan and watch 2 employees sit around talking about non work related items. It was slow, but just seemed unprofessional as I had called in earlier and was told that the last live scan they well do is at 6pm. I had asked if there was any way they could take me at 6:15pm as I worked down the road from them and didn't get off until 6:00 p.m. I was told no because that was their policy, but when I get there and see two employees just standing around doing nothing while one is focused on doing live scans I felt the overall actions to be unprofessional. It's also a loss of business as I could have waited until the weekend to get it done, but my employer allowed me to leave early that day so I was able to get there before they shut everything down as they had put it. Keep in mind they close an hour later than when they claimed they shut down the Live Scan operations. I'm giving them a four because the person who helped me was very helpful and professional. But I did also find out that he received no formal training on how to actually roll prints. read more

I believe I heard one of the women cuss which I thought was really inappropriate (not to a customer just to herself). Treating people like they aren't an inconvenience goes a really long way. The UPS Store in Heritage Plaza on the corner of Walnut and Culver is the only UPS I would choose to send packages, fax documents, have something notarized, or get my passport photo updated. I have been coming here since last year when I moved back to Irvine. And I love these guys. This Black Friday I had a TON of orders to send out. Talking like 200 boxes and I would bring them like 30 at a time almost everyday. They all helped me and let me borrow a dolly to bring it. Got me in and out in 5 mins.! I called, they answered. They have a notary on staff. I arrived in a few minutes and then had notarized documents a few minutes later. They scanned/e-mailed the documents for me as well. $20. Friendly staff. Note: The store is a little hard to locate in the massive plaza, and the parking situation is not great. read more

Decent customer service but I asked to print a label and didn't tape up my box (but it had the packaging all ready) and was charged $3 to tape it ($2 for printing one piece of paper and $1 to tape it). It wasn't a large or heavy package either! Definitely a rip off. read more

I am very shocked at my UNACCEPTABLE experience at the Culver location. I walked in on Sunday, Dec 10 at 1:20pm to get passport photos taken of my 1 year old son. The young gentleman at the counter greeted me and was very respectful. I asked him the price and an older woman with glasses and ponytail, paused her video she was watching on her phone that was plugged into the wall, interrupted and responded from the back counter, $45. I was shocked and said oh wow! $45? To that, she responded, "Yea for him? (referring to my son who btw, was minding his own business eating snacks from his cup). I said yea, she goes, "For an uncooperating child, $45"... I joked, (bc I thought she can't be that rude, right)? and said "well idk if he will.. haha? How much for a cooperating child?" But nope, she was dead serious. She said "$20 (but then later corrected herself, $16.95) if he cooperates. But if he's moving around and won't stand on his own then $45." Is that illegal? What if the child has a disability? Isn't that discrimination? She was VERY RUDE and it is the holiday season so I do not believe she should lose her job bc of this but instead, she needs to attend some training on customer service. I am appalled and hope action will be taken immediately. Needless to say, I did not get the photos taken and will never return. read more

Another store almost got me to buy the wrong box (specific kind of box for insured packages), but this store kept me informed! Five stars to Raj and his team. I've been going to this UPS for years, and everyone here is kind, pleasant, and super reliable. These past two years have been quite tumultuous, and I've had to deal with all sorts of legal stuff from getting hundreds of forms copied and faxed to my different attorneys, having things mailed out to attorneys throughout the USA, having forms and documents notorized, etc. Before the craziness, I used to come in to just drop off Amazon returns, but over time I built a relationship with raj and his team, and I learned that raj is also an attorney (not practicing). This was super helpful when I needed to get things notorized as he understood the requirements for the forms that needed to be filled out. I also remember that I forgot to sign and date one page and he kindly pointed it out, so I could handle it there and not have to deal with the possibility my forms being rejected & having to go through the notary process again. Unfortunately I have to express my disappointment with Rajan Shah the Owner / Franchisee of this location. I rented a mailbox for one year from him at this location, but a few weeks later I found out that I had to move to the other side of Irvine and this location was not convenient for me - I am new to the area (just had to move from FL) and in between houses as I shared with Rajan a few weeks ago when I set this mailbox up for a potential business address. I spent ~$371 for this box for one year and never received one piece of mail at it. Rajan said there "was nothing he could do" - this is an absurdity and frankly untrue...I went on to grovel with him and even asked for $100 back..or $5 back and he refused and held strong to his fine print policy. I will NEVER visit this or ANY UPS Store location again. The $371 he saved today will end up costing his branch at least $1000 in my notary and shipping business over the next few months because I am now forced to go elsewhere out of principle. Best of luck Rajan...Contract or contract, fine print or no fine print, you could have rebated me a small piece of the $371 I spent for the mailbox that was NEVER USED. read more

Worst ups store! Employee who look like a student worker is very rude with attitude. He wants a $2 for a small tape. Lady manager charge you a roll if you want to one piece of tape. She doesn't care if other ups will help customers with a piece of small tape. She said could purchase a whole role of tape if you want to use it? She said every franchise runs differently, maybe I should contact the corporate office to let them know that franchise like this bring their reputation down.. sad :( read more
