At this UPS store, my father's cherished military honors flag was packed and shipped with an abundance of care, strongly boxed with lots of prominent red "Fragile" stickers. This location seems to have little interest in customer service. even though their hours are posted and advertised, they close without explanation. An employee told me they were closed due to computer problems, but they still have packages for people to pick up, yet they don't leave one person to operate the store to facilitate this service. UPS stores in general are very accommodating, but this location is not. read more

Hours say they are open Sundays at 10am. I arrived and waited outside with 3 other customers for over 20 minutes and no one ever showed up. I called multiple times and they never answered. It's now 11am. Unacceptable to just not open during posted hours and have people drive over there and wait outside. read more

They never answer their phones or respond to emails. I concur on the long lines. Maybe the owner should spend some time there or hire a manager that knows how to manage. I get it, its hard to find good people to work these days but you would expect some customer service. Maybe just have people do it themselves or buy a robot. read more

Went in to make a damaged item return. 5 people in line ahead of me and one person working at 8:45am. The wait ended up being 45 min because one of the people in front of me wanted to open a P.O. Box without doing any research or prep. That accounted for 25 min. The guy behind the counter was extremely slow moving and seemed bothered to do anything that required him to think or step away from the counter. One last thing....this store charges $0.97 to print a label....$0.15 for the paper and $0.75 to RECEIVE the email with the label attached!!!! To receive an email....smh. read more

I needed to return an item via UPS as per the shipper. I had read all the Yelp reviews and was prepared for the worst. Much to my surprise things moved along fairly quickly considering restrictions with COVID limiting access and a line waiting down the front entry. As well as the holiday shipping season in full force. Once upon entry, I was greeted by an employee that looked as if he had been bombarded all day and saw a mass of packages behind him. Yet the employee was helpful and friendly. He even told me though the return was free via shipper, I should wait for a package receipt just in case. Overall great experience. read more

I would give this location a zero if it was available. The majority of the people working there are so rude or negative. I'm forced to go to drop off Amazon returns with a bar code, otherwise, I would never go back in there. There's one guy in particular that never looks up to greet you, he just expects you to sit and wait for him. My last experience was laughable because he was so mad to be there I guess. The girls are slightly better but they're clearly not happy to have a job either. There is a UPS store behind the Uhaul location on 4th if you need to mail a package. They are so friendly and the experience is a drastic difference. I know it's just a UPS store but now I dread to go in. read more

The workers on Saturday, 2/20/21 spoke in their native tongue and called me an idiot and laughed together while the man was helping me. My husband speaks creole and French and let me know afterward. I was squared away with my Amz return codes lined up, so I didn't EARN the idiot label. That aside, who wants to be a customer anywhere with someone like that behind the counter? Good morning just need to make a suggestion - if you need to mail a package UPS find an alternate location. I sent a package out on March 15 and it still has not arrived as it's destination. I've called customer service, I've called the store, - it is still under investigation. Records indicate that the package never left the store - therefore it should be pretty easy to investigate and find out who in the store did not get that package on the truck!!!! it's extremely discouraging!!! I live on a boat moored out in the harbor, so this is where I get my mail. It's a pretty busy store and it seems to have gotten busier with COVID-19 because of the increase in e-commerce volume. They handle it well enough though. I've found that most of the time any wait is because of the indecisiveness of the customer and they are unsure in how much they should invest in shipping a package. The staff has always been super friendly to me. It's a shipping store that provides the services it promises with friendly people. Not sure how much I can say about it more than that. Probably the worst customer service I have ever seen. They had no boxes, the guy told me to go to Home-depot and come back. I asked him if there is any other place I could ship from ? I told him I am not from Key West. He said they are the only place in town. Yeah right !!!!...... I went to FedEx right around the corner. And FedEx is cheaper. Way Cheaper. And his attitude sucked. I'd give 0 stars if it were an option. This UPS Store is the worst I've ever been to. This is the second time I've tried to come in to have something notarized... Not only do they make you feel like you're inconveniencing them, but that you're also doing something wrong in asking for services. One man in particular that's qualified to notarize is flat out rude and disrespectful. The first time I went in, he took 20 minutes to notarize one document and had an attitude the entire time, while questioning me in an offensive manner. It's UPS. Not the FBI. The second time going in, hoping someone else would be working, I went in around 3:00 p.m. in the middle of the week - two employees were working (one being the same man) - and I was the only person in the store. The notary was putting away boxes of some sort, something that could obviously wait, but not once did he come out to acknowledge me, assist, or do his job! I had to wait upwards of 15 minutes *alone in the store* before I just decided to go elsewhere. They are so unfriendly and unprofessional. It's ridiculous anyone is even being paid to work there, given the way they treat customers that they flat out ignore. Don't waste your time or your money. It's a waste of effort. read more

The Haitian man screams on his phone all day everyday when I visit this store. He continues to shout into his wireless headphones while dealing with customers. Does not communicate well at all. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. It's a shame the other two gentlemen who used to work here left. Yea the only reason such a low rating is because of the one Haitian guy that works there. I walked in and was the only customer in at the time. He was sitting in the back corner, and looked up when I came in. He was sitting in the back on his phone and drinking coffee. Instead of acknowledging me at all he continued talking on his phone and drinking coffee then walks up after a few minutes and was like "what do you need?" I explained I needed to return something to Amazon and had the return code. He told me it needs to be in a box. I explained it said on the return there is no need for a box because it will be packaged at the store. I even showed him where it said that. He told me he wouldn't accept it without a box. I just wanted to get out of there, paid $8 for a dang box then left. It's a shame this is the only UPS store in the island because I would never go there again if I had the choice. Every time I have been in that store and he's working he is so rude and unfriendly. Other reviews will prove he is always like this. read more
