I had to return a CAP 15 lb kettlebell to Amazon because they sent me the wrong weight. It should have been CAP 25 lb kettlebell. Anyway, I was on my way home and found this UPS Store in La Verne. Perfect location! Funny, my 1st visit was in the evening. My 2nd visit was the next day in the afternoon. Yeah, for round 2, Amazon sent me a barbell rack instead of my CAP 25 lb kettlebell LOL. Not sure what they are not getting. Btw, I have reordered and I finally got my CAP 25 lb kettlebell today. They got it right this last time!!! Staff here was really nice. I forgot to pack my item in its proper packaging. The young lady behind the counter was kind to find me a box. Now that's customer service!!! Thank you! This store is quite spacious, clean, and organized. Amazon returns at UPS stores are easy, simple, and hassle free. I love it! I usually choose UPS Store first. If they aren't available for selection, then I go with Kohl's or Staples. This UPS Store is on my go-to list for future visits. Keep up the great work UPS! P.S. If it wasn't because of this UPS Store, I would not have found Tea Leaf & Creamery the next day. I am so grateful of chance encounters! One meeting leads to the next meeting. Went in today because I needed to print a job offer to get signed and sent back. All 3 guys working around 1pm-2pm gave me great customer service. They were attentive to all of their customers walking in, nobody ever had to wait to be helped. The one thing I will point out is that 2 of them could work on their people skills a liiitttle more. I chalked it down to probably not having much experience since they looked to be very young. Regardless of that, with a little more work I think this store currently has a great team going. read more

ups lost my card that I trusted them to send for Mother's Day with a postage stamp .. since there is no record it is easy for someone either at ups or usps to take the card with valuables in it with no accountability.. they should not mail cards if they have no way of tracking it. really upset read more

Beware of this UPS Store (La Verne - 6408) location. They disrespect the handicapped & have NO customer service skills. When I walked in on 4/15/2025 at approximately 2:40, a female worker was helping the only customer in the store. They were in a conversation when the clerk looked at me so I sat down on the chair they have near the entrance. (I experience burning pain when I stand for more than 90 seconds.) A male customer came in and was immediately called up by the female clerk to process his Amazon return while her other customer was reading something at the counter. A male worker came out from the back shortly after and immediately called another male customer who had just walked in and ignored me entirely. I spoke and asked if I could get assistance next since "she" (the female worker) had taken someone who came in after me and now he was assisting a second person who came in after me. The female worker looked at me but didn't say anything. The customer who was about to be served by the male clerk kindly offered to step back saying he didn't realize he had gone ahead of me. The male clerk inserted himself as I was thanking the customer and asked if I wanted to come up in an irritated voice. I declined and said I would just like to be next. At this point, the female clerk finished with the original customer and began to call another male customer who had just walked in. I started to speak when the male clerk told her to take me. I mentioned that I would have to drag the chair over to the female clerk's register due to my physical condition. Two kind customers, including the elderly woman walking out offered to help me; however, I declined their assistance while thanking both of them for offering. When I was close to finished with my transaction, I asked the female clerk if she had a problem with me because her attitude was so curt and harsh with me - certainly no apology for skipping over me twice. While she was stuttering to respond, the male worker interrupted his conversation with another customer, raised his voice and inserted himself by saying, "Ma'am, do you want to be serviced here? You've been causing problems since you got here." (He wasn't even in the room when I got there.) I looked at him and the other customers in shock, and asked, "Me!?!" I stated that the female clerk was being curt with me and hadn't even extended the courtesy of an apology for ignoring me. He then blamed me for being passed over because I was "just sitting there." (Did they think I just wandered in to watch what was going on in the store while I held a package?) I reminded him that it was him I had spoken to over the phone before coming in and that I had advised him about my serious mobility issues and that I'd need to sit during the entire transaction. (I walk with a bright red cane and a seriously tortured-looking walk - as painful as it looks.) I stated that I have crushed vertebrae in my spine and no cartilage in my knees as the reason for having to sit. He then rudely (in a raised voice still) said, "So you want an apology!" He followed that with a super condescending and mocking voice and said, "We're sorry!" I looked at the female clerk who had a smirk on her face and softly said, "That was very sincere." I paid for my transaction, asked to see the package which she had already thrown in the USPS bin without letting me check it. I confirmed that it was correct, collected my receipt and said thank you (since courtesy is ingrained in me). I dragged the chair with the one hand I had free as the other was for my cane. A kind male customer offered to put the chair away for me, but I didn't want to bother him and thanked him. I walked out slowly with my funky walk but with my head held high despite these clerks doing their best to humiliate me because of my medical conditions and because I had the nerve to speak up as they took others who came in after me. I hope they can sleep well having hurt an old widow's feelings, doing their best to humiliate me in front of others and trying to make me feel less than. What a great tag team of unprofessional bullies! (Check out the low reviews - sounds like a pattern to me.) Take your business to another UPS Store franchise where they employ kind human beings as customer service representatives, or better yet, go to FedEx! The only ray of sunshine in this story (aside from the kindness of 3 customers who offered to help me) is the chuckle I enjoyed later thinking about my adult son and daughter hearing that their 68-year-old mom nearly got kicked out of the La Verne UPS Store for being a troublemaker - the mom who they've always rolled their eyes at for being such a straight-laced boring rule follower. read more

Dealing with Andre at this UPS location was a nightmare. They were rude, condescending, and completely uninterested in helping. I had a simple issue with my shipment, and instead of fixing it, they acted like I was bothering them. No apology, no effort to resolve anything--just snarky comments and an attitude like they couldn't care less. UPS really needs to rethink having someone like this in charge. I'll never be back. In December I mailed 5 boxes from this store containing alcoholic beverages. Today I'm told UPS doesn't ship alcohol. Perhaps it would serve the manager at this location better to apologize for sending mixed messages to customers and wasting their time, rather than responding with a sarcastic comment. I have gone to this place twice now and both visits were great! Apparently at other ups stores they don't have wifi or are not allowed to print over there and have bad customer service. (From what I read on Yelp about neighboring ups stores. 1. Very friendly with interactive customer relation skills. 2. Saying phrases like "my pleasure" 3. I logged on to my Amazon account and printed my needed shipping labels free of charge. 4. I used an old box to return my textbooks and I just have her the book, box, and papers and she handles the rest. 5. No hassle, quick, and great customer service. I came in to the UPS store today to ship a large package that I assumed would be difficult to do & had, consequently, been putting off for days. Unbeknownst to them, I only had about 20 minutes to spare as I needed to pick up my daughters from school in less than 40 minutes & was in a bit of a rush. When I arrived, much to my satisfaction, I was immediately greeted with smiles & kind hellos. I explained what I wanted to ship & where I needed it sent. The UPS team took it from there quickly identifying, labelling & shipping my package. They even gave me a ETA which I didn't need but appreciated. UPS, You have done a wonderful job staffing and training your franchises & employees. Being a small business owner for over 13 years I can appreciate good service.
