My daughter had a critical medication that was to be delivered to the house without a signature. Unfortunately the pharmacy messed up and required a signature. Each associate I have spoken to and emailed has been very patient and kind as the online arrangements were entered by me in TX and the paperwork needed to be picked up by my elderly father in La Verne. I've been coming to this UPS location for years and have always been met with friendly, professional, informative service. However, today the store employee by the name of Alexis (or Alexa) was so unprofessional and unpleasant that she left me thinking I need to find another location to give future business to. I had an extremely important document to notarize and she was not only argumentative about how it should "legally " take place (it was my California attorney oath card so the lecture was unnecessary) but she was flippant about the whole transaction. This single transaction for me personally was years of hard work in the making and she all but ruined the experience. She really should not be customer facing if what she's offering is rude, unprofessional service. Its very unfortunate that in this day, on the heels of the pandemic, something as simple but important as common courtesy is lost on people like Alexis. read more

My mother went to have a package wrapped and shipped yesterday. She had a coupon for a 20% discount. The guy at the store said he had already rang the order and would not accept it. She took the item back. She went back the next day hoping to get someone different. She did. This salesperson charged her $30 more! The original guy was there and he told her, "See, you should have sent it yesterday". Are you kidding?!? Is this totally arbitrary charging? What a joke!! My mother nor I will go back to this store and I hope you won't either!! I consider this elder discrimination. What a disgrace. read more

Warning- Do not ship anything of value from this store and expect the store to stand behind the insurance that they sell you when your shipment is damaged. They don't explain that in order for a damage claim to be paid they have to pack it or have the packing material available for inspection - they do not provide you with any written or verbal warning that states this when you buy the insurance. read more

My experience with this particular store is less than impressive. Went in Monday (March 4th - just after opening) to inquire about a package being sent there. The tracking number did not register in the UPS Tracking system and I couldn't find out any details regarding the item's whereabouts. Wouldn't any customer be concerned?! I came looking for help but the African-American worker there couldn't have cared less. He offered no alternatives - no assistance - no means to inquire into the problem. Nothing! He simply walked away to take a call on his cell phone. I was left to my own devices to fix the problem. Thankfully, the UPS store at the point of shipment was professional and helpful. Eventually the tracking issue was corrected (not any help from the La Verne store) and the item arrived. I give "1" star because, at least, the young lady who handed the package over was nice.
