I live across the street from the UPS store on magnolia, Cross Street is Jurupa. The store is supposed to be open until 7pm. I walked 2 packages over just to drop off. The postage was already paid. When I tried to open the door at 6:50, it was locked and the employees inside ignored me completely. I think they should be taught how to tell time. I'm pissed!!! I work all day and I really needed to drop off my package. Also, when I drop off packages, there are 2 employees who tell me they can't give me a receipt. Yet I could of sworn that I've been given a drop off receipt from a girl who works at night. The kids you have working in there have absolutely no customer service skills. I wouldn't want them representing my company. The African American guy is the rudest of them all. He barely speaks to you, and most always just ignores you when you're standing at the counter. I went in today returning a couple items in the mail to Amazon and other locations . Stephanie helped me with purchasing a box and provided me with awesome customer care . Already stressed from trying to manage my littles while in their store she quickly and efficiently helped me complete my task and I was on my way in less then 10 min from when I first walked in. This is my second negative review regarding returns. I bought a few items on Amazon that I returned at this location and have had 2 of those items not get delivered to Amazon to complete my refund. Either Amazon is not scanning items being returned to them or this store has thieves stealing items after they print a return label and scan it. read more

Today, I arrived at the UPS store right before closing. I was running late because the closest freeway offramp was closed and the detour took me 2 miles up the freeway to the next off ramp. But I made it back just in time, and ran through the parking lot to arrive at the door at 5:58pm. Although the store closes at 6:00pm, the door was already locked so I knocked and waved. The employee inside obviously saw me, but ignored me. I just had a really quick Amazon return and wanted to ask if they could please process it for me. The employee continued to ignore me, but since there were other customers in the store, I waited for them to exit. When they walked out, I entered and attempted to explain the situation, but the female employee immediately pulled down the locking gate, right in my face and started say "No, you have to leave. Get out!". It was still just a couple of minutes past 6pm , but apparently it was more important to close shop, then to provide good quality customer service. Even if the employee had denied my request, I deserved the right to speak, especially since I arrived at the door 2 minutes before closing. With so many different options in the shipping industry, the quality of customer service sets one business apart from another. After my experience today, I think I'll be finding another company to do business with. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Lake Elsinore UPS Store and its staff. I've mailed about 30 packages in the last two months from here for my Ebay store, and none of them arrived late or damaged. Moreover, my family has had a PO box at this location for over 15 years with no issues. I appreciate all of the staff here, and I will continue doing business here as long as I live close by. I want to especially thank Baylie and the older woman with brown hair for being very cordial to me and informative during every recent visit. When I started my Ebay business, I had many, many questions regarding small nuances affecting my workflow ("When does USPS arrive? Can you tell me more about printing my own shipping labels? Where could I get these supplies at bulk pricing?" etc...) and both of them were outstandingly patient and helpful. I recognize that UPS Store staff probably weren't required to have most of these answers for me ready on the fly, so I think this speaks volumes for their talent as well as their ability to go above and beyond a minimal effort to help customers. My personal advice for others: I usually drop off packages and seek advice in the early morning when the office is less busy and probably much less stressful on the staff. read more

My daughter returned an Amazon product and the male cashier said the box needed to be taped...she did not realise it and after some ado the cashier stated he could tape it for $1...all she had was hundred dollar bills. The male cashier took it, opened his till and explained he did not have enough change...a woman cashier with black hair in multi braids and braces stepped in unsolicited became almost hostile and gave my daughter a hard time like stating we do not take large bills. Go home and tape it up and the like at which point the male cashier announce to the full store...I saw her wallet and she has lots of cash ..at this point i am thinking we are going to need an armed guard now to escourt us out...why could they have told my daughter...ok this time only we will tape it...but no...they made a scene and targets of us instead...extremely bad customer service and an F grade in professionalism. She helped us with the package and demonstrated true human kindness by sharing some of her personal supplies when I shared that we had a flood on our house when a pipe broke and I could not find an essential item in any store. Highly recommend, staff are so kind and helpful! My color printer wasn't working, so I went to print some items out. I called and staff were so nice and confirmed printing process. I went down, however at the time the computer wasn't working, the staff was so apologetic, they were trouble shooting and mentioned it was going to take some time to resolve. I had to leave because I was running late to an appointment, so I returned in an hour and the computer was reset and working, I printed my items and staff helped me out, and good to go! I'll definitely return again! read more

I've been coming to this store for years. Today, while checking the weekend hours, I noticed the comments and had to write this. I've always received excellent customer service at this store!!! And Betty has been amazing! While I don't think her personality is "bubbly", she's always been thoughtful, knowledgeable, and remembers what I share (such as when I'm sending packages to my son in Arizona). When I had to return a cable box after switching my package, she made sure to advise me twice to keep the tracking label because customers had complained the packages were often lost. Sure enough 3 months later the provider was still charging me for the extra box saying I hadn't returned it! I was able to escalate and show them they had signed for it to get a refund. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would for lack of customer service and EXTREMELY RUDE employees who rudely talk to you and make comments like "only to people like you." Didn't know what he was referring to when he made that comment about "you people." The manager could only say she would talk to both the young man and the young lady but she didn't realize the true situation of how those two employees acted. The young lady stares at your face and when you say "what?" She rudely says that she's not talking to you and then when she starts talking to you, she gets really offended when you respond to her asking if she's talking to you. UPS you don't need young kids taking care of the counters working in a customer service role. They don't know how to act and how to socialize with others. With kindness comes kindness and with rudeness comes rudeness. Treat others how you would like to be treated. I couldn't believe my ears and my eyes with how they acted but unfortunately I have to return to that same location since my Xmas packages would be delivered there and I paid extra money for the "convenience" and obvious rudeness by the employees. I recently used their Notary and USPS 1st Class Package with Tracking services. Firstly, customer service is whenever they feel like getting to it. And they forget to tell you " Postal rates are subject to a surcharge." Surcharge? BS! They charge 100% markup, that is DOUBLE on any USPS shipping! DON'T USE THIS STORE! I thought it would take forever, but the line flew right through. Then Jenn helped me out and she was incredibly nice. I figured they might be in a bad mood because of the end of day rush, but Jenn was really accommodating even though I had several things to ship. I am always offered coupons whenever they have little promos going on. The speed of service is great. Everyone seems on top of it with their roles and keeps the line moving all the time. I would give negative stars if I could. I wouldn't be surprised if my packages suddenly disappeared either, considering a hateful women named Betty served me. She treated me like I was some child that she could talk down to, completely full of disrespect in her demeanor; how she would speak to me, what she said, and her behavior. I called the store before I came in to make sure they were still open and I politely asked a question about some of the returns that I had to drop off, and right off the bat the woman BETTY who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude, abruptly interrupting me with a "matter of fact" condescending tone in her voice whenever I was mid sentence. I can literally feel the negative energy coming off of her so I say thanks and hang up. I didn't have time to go to another UPS store which I would have LOVED to do considering this woman sounded like she was seeping with a horrible attitude (and I'm wondering how she has a job talking to customers over the phone like that) but I came here anyways because I didn't have a choice. Betty (this older white woman with a mullet) is absolutely the RUDEST, most unprofessional and unhelpful person I've ever dealt with at a UPS store. I can honestly say that I have never experienced anything like the behavior I experienced today at this store. When I walked in to the store, she says hello and I say hi. And I tell her I'm here to drop off some returns and she just stares at me and watches me while I'm struggling, putting the boxes on the counter. Meanwhile she's leaning against the counter with her hands resting on the edge of it, completely FULL of attitude in her body language and blank stare. Feeling uncomfortable already with her attitude towards me from before I even saw her in person, I proceed to ask her a few questions about the packages and I can't even get a sentence out, she's TALKING OVER ME. Even when it came to showing me the boxes I could buy to put my items in, she couldn't be bothered. She would point over to the corner and nod her head, even while I was clearly needing more assistance with the options. Yet she continued to have an attitude and staring at me blankly with an aggressive posture and snappy voice. All I was looking for was just an ounce of helpfulness or friendliness from her, and got neither. Instead, she ANGRILY served me at the counter, with an attitude as if she were doing me a favor. I was carefully checking one of my large packages that needed to be sent back in a large plastic shipping bag, to make sure there were no open holes for products to fall out and making sure the tape was in all of the right places. This bag is worth well over $300 with the items inside, so I will d*** well make sure it's secure. And she says with the most condescending and rude tone of voice I have ever heard from an employee, "*scoffs* I'm trying to weigh this bag here and you keep pounding on it!" Literally YELLS this at me, out of absolutely nowhere. She was silent the entire time I was putting my packages together, so I was somehow supposed to read her mind. At this point I can't hold in my frustration or anger any longer with how she's treating me and I say, "I'm sorry, you never told me that's what you were doing, how was I supposed to know that?" And she mumbles something. Mind you, at this time I am the only customer in the store and she is the only person working, so I'm sure she felt that she could get away with treating me like this because she's had a bad day. I had no idea she was taking a weight measurement since the only type of communication I received from her before I even walked into the store, was her was attitude!!! Maybe communicate to me what you're doing so I know???? And if I had known you were measuring the weight, I wouldn't have been touching the package???? I'm sorry I'm unable to read your mind?!! I was made to feel EXTREMELY uncomfortable and AFRAID to talk to her because she would snap at me, and this combined with the rest of her unprofessional behavior and unnecessary attitude; there's just absolutely no justification for this whatsoever and she doesn't deserve this job. If you're so unhappy with your job that you feel it's okay to be this disrespectful towards a customer, you shouldn't be working here period. Afterwards, I stood off to the side to observe how she treated another customer who had walked in at the end (who was an older white male by the way) and her attitude did an entire 180 degree flip. She was nice and communicative, making conversation. And actually HAPPILY HELPING this male customer without dishing the disgusting attitude that she served me with. Apparently they knew each other. You better believe me when I say I'm taking this higher up, because this level of blatant discrimination and unprofessionalism from a grown woman isn't cute. Solange was able to multi-task perfectly, answering questions her staff had, welcoming customers who arrived after me and completing my live scan very quickly, like a true professional. I went to this store to fax some documents. A young lady asked me did I want a cover sheet and I told yes. I filled out the cover sheet and waited for her to come back to the counter. She preceded to help others and had me waiting. Finally my fiancée asked her when was she coming back to finish the fax. She said she told to let her know when I finished. Actually she never said that to me. I just thought it was rude what she did. After my fiancée said something about the wait 3 of them started laughing.There was 1 young lady who came to help me. I asked for a manager the Caucasian man said he was the manager. It's a mess in that store and they need to keep a manager at that store all times. I will never use this place again. They were very young and have poor customer service. I hope they know the customer is always right! read more

I received excellent service today at the UPS store on Grape St. I had 10 heavy, large boxes to ship and Chuy gladly took them out of my car and put them on their UPS heavy duty dolly. They barely fit through the door but he had a great attitude which made my day. You guys are not only rude but completely incompetent. I do not understand how ups continues to employ any of you. Giving me the run around for the District manager Number. Your life must have hit a real low point for you to treat your job the way you do. Funny how UPS continues to allow any of you represent them at a retail level. On July 21st I wanted to ship a phone to mexico because my phone was stolen and luckily had a spare. I specifically spoke with a male associate. I repeated my self several time. WHAT CARRIER WILL DELIVER MY PACKAGE TO MEXICO. with a smirk he stated Well UPS. I repeated why i was asking. I did not want the Mexican postal service get their hands on the package because it would never arrive, most likely would be stolen. So i asked him to make sure, ARE YOU POSITIVE NO OTHER CARRIER WILL DELIVER THE PACKAGE. He confirmed, Come to find out my package has not moved from DF, why? Well because UPS used the mexcian postal service to save money on shipping. What does everyone here say, oh well its not our fault we did our job, if it does not arrive contact the Mexican postal service. A 1200 mistake that came out of my pocket. This store manager and Assistant should be replaced not only for incompetence in training their team but the completely rude, arrogant attitude they give you. Your store because of false information given to the costumer caused a $1200 loss in personal property. Seriously, anyone reading Choose FEDEX, Choose DHL Choose a freeking carrier pidgin because UPS is useless, that honer and security that name used to mean is long gone. You wonder why Fedex and DHL surpassed you well take a good look at your staff.
