    I was about to write a review for this UPS store when I came across another review describing an…read moreincident that I personally witnessed while standing in line as the next customer. I normally do not read other people's opinions, but I felt this review was unfair and did not present the full situation. I witnessed and heard the entire conversation because I was directly behind the customer in line, waiting while he spent a long time arguing over a small return charge. The customer was upset about being charged for an Amazon return through UPS, while the same return could have been free through Walmart or Whole Foods. The manager calmly tried several times to explain that the charge was related to Amazon's return policy, not the UPS store itself. Unfortunately, the customer was unwilling to listen, became very disrespectful, used inappropriate language, and left angrily. What surprised me most was seeing such a negative review afterward without including the full context. I have personally used this UPS store for years and have always received excellent, professional, and helpful service from the staff. It is disappointing to see them unfairly criticized.

    I called this FedEx location today to inquire about assistance with a large project, and my…read moreinteraction with Chris was incredibly disappointing. Before I could fully explain the details, he repeatedly interrupted me, talked over me, and made incorrect assumptions about what I was asking for. Instead of listening and trying to understand the project, he became extremely flustered and raised his voice during the call. The entire conversation felt rushed, dismissive, and highly unprofessional. Customer service starts with listening, and unfortunately that never happened here. By the end of the call, it was very clear my business was not valued, so I politely ended the conversation, wished him a great day, and assured him I would not be doing business with this location moving forward! As soon as we hung up, I received a call from the regional manager. I made him fully aware of my interaction with Chris, including the interruptions, raised voice, and overall unprofessional conduct. What was most surprising was that he never once addressed or acknowledged Chris's behavior during the conversation. That alone told me everything I needed to know about the level of accountability and customer service in the South Orange County market. Based on both my experience and the volume of negative Yelp reviews across multiple South OC FedEx locations, it's becoming very clear that customer service is not a priority.

    On June 6, 2026, I visited Staples to print some documents. While I was using the self-service…read moreprinting area, I witnessed a customer with limited English proficiency asking an employee named Julia for assistance. Instead of helping her, Julia raised her voice and repeatedly told the customer to print whatever was on her phone while pointing toward the self-service machine. At the same time, a young man nearby was also struggling to print his documents and appeared ready to leave without completing his task. The customer who had been spoken to by Julia asked the young man for help. He tried but was unable to assist her. They then asked me for help, and I assisted both customers with the printing process. After I finished printing, I approached the print services desk. Julia and another associate ignored me. I had to ask them to at least acknowledge my presence and let me know they would be with me shortly. One of the machines I had been using indicated that it was jammed, which I wanted to report. I also informed Julia that I did not appreciate the way she had spoken to the customer with limited English proficiency. I explained that a language barrier does not make someone deaf and that raising your voice is not appropriate customer service. Julia responded that she was not yelling, stating that she was not speaking to me that way. However, the customer she was addressing was still visibly struggling to understand the printing process and did not receive the assistance she needed. I then requested to speak with a manager. Julia informed me that the manager was at lunch. While I waited, Julia walked out from behind the service desk and handed me her business card, stating it was so I would not misspell her name. It appeared she was willing to leave her workstation to make that point, yet she had not been willing to provide the same level of effort to assist a customer who genuinely needed help. My concern is not only the lack of customer service shown toward me, but more importantly the treatment of a customer who was clearly struggling with a language barrier and simply needed assistance. I believe all customers deserve to be treated with patience, respect, and professionalism.

I filled out the enrollment form online and then made my appointment. Staples does accept walk-ins, but I just like to make sure it goes as smooth and quickly as possible. There is one person who will find your name on the appointment sheet, confirm your identity, scan your document (RealID or Passport), take two sets of fingerprints (six images total), ask you the same questions that you answered on the enrollment form, take your payment and send you on your way. I hope the $80 charge will be worth it. We'll find out later this year. If you have any procedural questions, he was happy to answer. I was done in about 5 minutes and checked out the rest of the store. About what you'd expect from Staples. A big do-it-yourself business center, aisles of business supplies and plenty of staff to help you out.
