I had an Amazon package to return and Amazon told me to go to UPS. I've done this before and there was never any cost, but for some reason, the young man at this store said I needed to purchase packaging in order for them to accept my Amazon return. I had to buy a padded envelope and then he took my items, but as of today four weeks later, Amazon says they never received my return items and the window to receive a refund has passed. So what kind of theft is going on here? You fraudulently charge me for packaging and then just keep my Amazon items? Very scummy. read more

I just visited your Lake Zurich location, on Route 22. Terry was so kind to come get my packages from the curb as a was taking my napping infant out of the car. I didn't even ask or see him notice, he just jumped into action. He completed my three returns within minutes and was so friendly. His other coworker, was also so help but I didn't catch his name. Terry held the door for me on my way in and out. Everyone was very helpful and so many people came in and out when I was there. Everyone was serviced quickly and helped by all the workers there. the most unfriendly and rude personnel i have encountered. i have stopped in the store to have my signature notarized and The man who appeared to be in charge there told me he does not notarize signatures after 4pm. it does appear to be a "rule" set up at the moment as nothing has been posted anywhere in the store. there was only one other customer in the store and a UPS driver in the store as well as another employee at the moment. if having to two service two customers at the same time by two agents is exceeding the abilities of the personnel at that location and sending the customers away is their business model perhaps he should not represent the UPS and look for another carrier path. He did sent me away for good as i will not patronize that story again. read more

As an individual who occasionally needs shipping as well as copying services, I will say that place is the most cost-effective (much less than across the street), as well us customer-friendly in this segment. The employees are always friendly and helpful, and while the space is small, you can rely on them for many services. I love the personal interaction when I need presentations for work to be printed. I send them an email with my specifications and needed completion time, and they ALWAYS deliver on-time, EXACTLY to my specifications. They will reply via email when ready, and remind me when the store is closing if I need it that day. I highly recommend this place for all your shipping or printing/copying needs! read more

Had my first encounter with this UPS Store been my visit on Saturday I would not be going back. I realize that I got there just before closing but the eye roll and sigh given me by the young man made me feel like I was a bother. I gave him cash and I'm sure the drawer had already been counted. I'm chalking it up to youth, I know that's not the way this UPS Store is run. Had a massive number of oddly-shaped items to ship (don't seem to be able to post the pics I took). Tom Welsh, the owner, took such a tiny box to pack it in, I didn't see how half of it could fit inside. He not only fit everything, with no crushing, he had room for bubble wrap on top. I expected to spend $60 or so. It was $37, including the box. Am so glad I was too late to go to my (old) regular place. Will never go anywhere else again. Fantastic customer service with everyone who was inside or walked in. Outstanding all the way around. Six out of five stars. read more

Yes only one star, the typical saying here on yelp if I could give it zero stars I would. I was in the store and waited on someone to come and help me for at least 15 minutes, after my long annoying wait a blond woman came up to me could not have been more rude, annoyed and overall dismissive attitude. Most of my business is done by mail order and I have always trusted UPS to get my packages there on time and not damaged. Thanks to a girl named Danielle I will not only never use this store again I will never use UPS again. I will only use FedEx or the post office. I'm not saying my business keeps these huge companies afloat but I do know each store is individually owned by a family who I'm sure are busting there butts to keep the doors open. My business I do ship minimum 15 different items a week but not from the lake zurich store or UPS. So to the owners of the Lake Zürich UPS store you have your employee Danielle to thank for that. read more

I wouldn't suggest using them for any of their services. Not saying UPS is a bad carrier, just this specific store. The store has really gone downhill the past six months. They remolded, but there prices have doubled, and they seem to be getting rid of all the help. I used to be in and out when I would stop there in the morning. Now its always a bit of a wait. Might as well use the post office, its about the same wait with much cheaper options ! I would suggest using fed ex across the street for any of your printing needs ! Hope that helps. read more
