I came to the store to process a return that would normally take about 30 seconds to scan the QR code and take the package. I was met at the door by a short man who said I couldn't come in without a mask. I explained that I had a medical condition and he asked to see my medical card. I've never heard a business requiring a "medical card" to enter. He refused to help me unless I was wearing a mask despite my medical condition. read more

Can't say I wasn't warned by all the negative reviews, but I thought I would give it a chance any way. I needed a notary so I did my due diligence and called ahead to see if a notary would be available and if I needed a appointment. I was told no appointment necessary and the notary would be there between 4:30 and 6pm. Great! Showed up at 5:00...no notary, no apology, nothing. It's unfortunate when a business does not value it's customers or seem to care about the inconvenience that they have caused. read more

My wife and I have used 'The UPS Store' by Safeway in Lincoln a lot. From pretty much all our administrative needs that we are unable to do at the house, to sending stuff, to Notarizing documents. The gentlemen who work there have always been prompt, professional, and helpful. I've been to other UPS stores and was compelled to leave positive feedback about this one being local to us and seem to be the most cooperative employees we've encountered. read more

This Lincoln Store is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Not only has this Store not taken any accountability or responsibility for failing to insure a package made to Austria/Vienna in the promised time, they managed to fail to ship it back to the Lincoln location as promised. The package was intended for a patient who lost a hearing aid and was traveling through Europe on the Vacation of their dreams. However, the failure for this store to properly deliver - they lack any contact helping get this package back to me. I gets worse - I also contacted both Corporate UPS and Corporate UPS Store, and got no help Either... My suggestion to everyone is do like I will be doing - never work with UPS Stores again!!! I was really disappointed with the service I received today. I went in to have an envelope postmarked, the lady(with purple hair) working told me that she couldn't postmark it and that I'd have to go to the post office even though I was at a UPS earlier and they did it without a complaint. I then asked her to just mail it and she gave me the dirtiest look at said sure. There was no reason for the attitude she gave me and I was very annoyed leaving the store. read more

I went in to do an Amazon return earlier this evening. There were two workers; a taller white older man with a mustache, and a shorter (about 5'7) younger (20's) white man. The younger man helped me and was extremely short and rude. He informed me that I didn't have a QR code and that I needed to print the label on my return. I asked if they could print it there as I'm 32 weeks pregnant and didn't want to make a return trip. He rolled his eyes and his body language was very irritated. He said it would cost me $1 and that they are stopping the service. So I said I can get a dollar from my car. He slid a paper over to me and then looked at me. I said what's this? He said email the label to this address. So I do. He went to check for it and was gone for a few minutes. He said nothing was there and for me to send it again. Then he went to help other people. He told the older man not to print for people anymore as he shot me a glance and said we are stopping that service soon anyways. After a few more minutes he asked if I sent the label again I said it had been sent. A few more minutes passed and nobody went to check on the label. I grabbed my box and walked out. Neither of the two workers said anything to me. Typically at this store there are two middle eastern men who work there and help me. They both are very warm, friendly, and accommodating. I'm not sure if they work there anymore or not, but I sure did miss them. This was a miserable experience and I'll never go inside if that guy is working again, he was just plain rude and lacks customer service. read more

Customer service is the worst here along with pretty much every other business in this shopping complex. Stay away from the whole area if you can. As a customer I always try to be polite and smile. The way I get treated by the staff here makes me feel like I should be paid just to deal with them. How ridiculous is that?! Of the several times i've had to use their services i'm met with zero effort in terms of friendliness and never see a smile on anyone's face. This store and owner are horrible and unprofessional to put it mildly. I shipped a bike from CA to NC and they entered the zip code wrong and it ended up in Seattle. It took an extra week to get the bike to my customer because of the mis-hap. However, when the bike finally arrived, the box was severely damaged and the bike was also damaged and was obviously handled poorly by UPS. I contacted Tern, the owner of the store and let him know what happened. He asked me to send pics and itemized costs and he would open a case with UPS and which I did. He said it would take 5 to 10 business days to complete the investigation. I called several times to request updates and when I was able to get a hold of him, he was rude to me for simply calling to ask for an update on the case so I can provide an update to my customer. The other half of the time he wasn't there and I left messages for him to call me back and he never did. Now almost two months later there was still no update. I called him yesterday afternoon again and asked if I could have the case number so I could call UPS directly and not have to bother him and he said he was the only one authorized to call them. He then told me he didn't have time to call today but would call first thing in the morning and call me with an update. I never heard from him in the morning so I called in the early afternoon and the said he had just left for lunch. I left a message asking them to let him know I called. By 4:30 I had still not heard back from him so I called again and they said he had just left to run to the store and would be back in 20 mins. I left another message and my number again and asked them to have him call me back. By 5:15 I had not heard anything so I called again in hopes to catch him before they closed at 5:30. The same man I had spoken to earlier said he was already gone for the day. I asked him if he gave him my message and he said yes. So I asked him if he would call him and ask him to please call me. He reluctantly said ok and then rudely hung up on me. I was literally sitting in my car during this call after going to the bank one block away. My gut was telling me that I was being lied to. So I drove to the UPS store that took me all of two mins and sure enough, the owner was behind the counter helping a customer. I went into the store and confronted him about how he treats his customers and how I was just lied to. He tried to tell me he had just gotten back and I said I literally hung up the phone two mins ago and was told you had left for the day and told him all I wanted was an update on my case. He then asked me how much money I was owed, I told him the amount, he opened the register and gave me a refund. I told him thanks and that I will not be doing anymore business with the store. He then proceeded to tell me that I was not welcome in his store and belittled me in front of the other customers. I was extremely patient through the whole two months contacting him periodically for an update so I could communicate with my customer. I did not deserve to be lied to, belittled, or treated the way he treated me. I was completely disgusted and will take my business elsewhere. I'm starting to think he never even opened the case with UPS. read more

The owner is a ..... and they are rude. Came in at 4:30 to the doors locked and they closed at 6:30. Needed to just drop off a package! They didn't want to open the door and except my pre paid package. Luckily the UPS driver in the back was nice enough to except it and the employee screamed out don't except there package in a fighting stance! Poor place. My wife and I visited the UPS Store in Lincoln with the intent of shipping a medium-sized package to one of my nieces. We were accompanied by an elderly friend who is legally blind, who uses a white cane, and who wanted to ship several large household articles to two of her own relatives. When we arrived, laden down with some very heavy items, we found the door to the UPS Store locked. Even though the store wasn't busy at all, and even though the flooring in the store was carefully marked for social distancing, customers were forced to wait outside until one of the store's staff got around to opening the door and letting people inside. (Somehow the locked door seemed like a bit of overkill.) After unlocking the door for us, the gray-haired gentleman who appeared to be the store's manager refused at first, for whatever reason, to let my wife inside the store. He eventually relented, but directed her to remain seated in a chair right by the entrance door. (More overkill?) My wife eventually took it upon herself to join our friend at the customer-assistance counter after noticing that our friend, due to her impaired vision, needed help with reading and understanding the paperwork related to her shipment. While my wife and our friend worked on arranging the friend's shipment, I remained in line so that I could deal with our own shipment as soon as my wife and our friend were finished. While I was standing there, the gray-haired gentleman glanced in my direction and beckoned me over to a separate counter, where it seemed he was going to assist me with our shipment. He even said to me, "I can help you here." As soon as I reached the other counter, however, he suddenly disappeared for several minutes. When he returned to me, he stated that I would have to return to my place in the line. As I began returning to the line, I could only shrug my shoulders and remark, "That's where I was a while ago." Seriously, this UPS Store seems very poorly run. There was no obvious reason why I could not have been helped at the second counter. There were three staff members standing behind the counters during our visit, but only one of the staff members showed any interest in helping customers. I ended up taking our shipment to the UPS Store in Folsom, where service is always exemplary and far less complicated. read more

I usually go to a different UPS store but I tried this one today and was pleased to see they are careful about not having too many people in the store at once, but the guy at the counter was wearing a face shield and not a mask so it's questionable as to whether it protects him or the customers. Because he's exhaling with nothing covering his mouth, and there are a lot of older people that come in here. The plastic shield is OK but he should also be wearing a mask covering his mouth.. Also, this is probably minor but I was sending two special birthday cards and he put the stamps sideways upside down and in weird places scattered on the front of the envelopes not just neatly in the corner. I was a little worried but he said it would get there fine. Just looked kind of weird, if it was an impersonal mail or business probably wouldn't matter, but my family members who receive these birthday cards are going to wonder why the stamps are all over the front like that. they might wonder if I'm OK! I will have to explain! . But overall I like this place the guy was friendly and I will come back. read more

I had previously been going to another packaging-type business (not UPS Store though) in a neighboring city. I thought they were all similar, and accepted the lack of consistency and the lack-luster staff as the norm. I waited to write this review to be sure that my first couple visits were the norm. Today was my 4th visit to the Lincoln, CA location. Here are the BIG differences I found and why I will continue to use the Lincoln UPS store. A guy helped me 1 time and a girl (Dawn) helped me the other 3 times. 1.) #1 for me is TIME! Even while chit-chatting with the gal behind the counter, I was in and out there in a fraction of the time when I use USPS or Fed Ex. I'd say my average wait which included packaging selection, addressing the label, watching packaging, & paying was around 10-12minutes. 2.) I am consistently greeted upon arrival - a friendly smile goes a long way in my book. 3.) While browsing for supplies I was asked if I needed assistance (I almost fell over--seriously!) I was given suggestions for saving money by choosing alternate packing methods (envelop vs box). 4.) One of my packages was super fragile. My fragile items were secured and packaged up perfectly - I didn't even have to ask for the additional packaging--she just did it. 5.) The store has been consistently clean, organized, and free of additional clutter. I can find what I need quickly, which means I out quickly. I appreciate the Lincoln UPS stores effort to make customer service a priority and that they understand the importance of getting customers in & out in a timely fashion. I love this UPS store-especially the staff! Rashmi and Anish were always friendly, professional, polite, and efficient. I was a little worried when they retired, but I shouldn't have. The new owner, Kern, is extremely personable. He knew me by name on my second visit. I feel more like family than a customer. Sometimes I have to wait a short bit, never more than ten minutes, but I always feel valued. I am happy to be a patron of this small business. read more

Totally lame, never ever ever use UPS for Scanning to a flash drive. It's $3.00 for the first page, and $1.00 for each additional page after that! I went in today and there were tons of people in there waiting in line to mail stuff, but I just wanted to scan a few documents onto my flash drive. No one was using them, so I proceeded to help myself thinking the machine would clarify the pricing prior to starting my scan job. The machine didn't and the prices weren't listed anywhere else in the store, so naturally one would think it's free to use their scanner after I just paid $5 to print. I scan my docs, walk out of the store and one of the employees runs out to grab me, telling me that I need to pay for it. "Oops, sorry!" I said, "I didn't realize it cost to scan, but I'd be more than happy to pay for it!" So I walk back in and he rings me up...the total came out to $9.00!!! Absolutely bogus. read more

Poor customer service. I dropped a package off to be shipped that was prepaid and need a little tape to seal the box. I was told I'm not making any money on you dropping this off so I need a dollar to tape this. I was blow away by this just poor attitude and customer service. I came into this store not knowing how to work the copy machine and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly staff who were eager to help me. They were very helpful and friendly and answered my questions. I overheard a customer complain about the cost of packing, the associate did explain it would be cheaper to pack it yourself and offered tips on how to pack it where the items would arrive in one piece. I definitely recommend this store for all your shipping needs and office help! read more

I needed to fax some imp. documents to a national bank before 6pm on Jan. 2, 2018. A young man quickly took care of my business and handed me a "verification" sheet that stated that the docs were received at the bank I was dealing with. However, by Jan.10th, when I called, the bank"s trust dept. said they had no record of my trust docs being sent. I immediately drove over to the Lincoln UPS store that had faxed them and the owner, Kern, proved with the verification sheet, that they had indeed faxed the info ---so the problem lay on the receiving end,---the banks. However, seeing my stress about this, he offered to again send the info (this time FREE of CHARGE). THAT's outstanding customer service in my book. Barb Murphy read more

Exercise extreme caution!!!! I requested pack and ship with two boxes. I paid for two boxes and insurance on an irreplaceable vase shipping to LA. The same day I used another UPS to ship a crystal ewer to Australia. You guessed it the vase to LA arrived cracked in ONE BOX!!! The receiver in LA requested the double box be shipped to her office, where her regular UPS driver saw the poor packaging and mentioned to the receiver to take photos. Thankfully she did take photos of the poor packaging. She also wrote a letter showing photos and had her UPS driver comment directly to UPS claims in Anaheim. I was deeply concerned at the cavalier attitude the manage showed. He placed the unprotected vase on the edge of the counter. I asked if he would kindly move it to the center of the desk as I was so concerned the 1890's vase would get knocked over. I left the vase in his hands to wrap. The Lincoln manager Anish was so young and immature. He did not like being told to move the vase to the center of the desk. That was my biggest mistake- requesting he move the vase to the center of the desk resulted in his ego being hurt. He has an inferiority complex. He was rude and disrespectful. His biggest concern was keeping his record clear. Accidents happen, but to deny the facts and then have the customer go through so much leg work to resolve the situation hardly seems fair. It was the worst nightmare I have ever experienced. I actually signed up with yelp to leave this review. In all my years I have never documented a complaint- but this was so painful id like to help save others from the drama. I have gone back to the UPS store I have used for the last 15 years and even that store owner was shocked at the level of poor service, false accusation and cultural disrespect. Ups pack and ship stores are NOT governed by UPS and their "insurance" is NOT insurance. There was so much learned from this event. Clearly Anish is full of excuses and false statements. Too bad he is the only game in Lincoln. I'll be using Fed Ex from here on out; or travel to Rocklin's UPS. With this type of business practice he won't last! read more

My first time going to this store the staff was friendly, but not very helpful. Three employees and only one knew how to package my shipment. I waited approx. 10mins for him to finish assisting another customer, and the other staff could not help me. Then the packaging and shipping was VERY expensive. I came back a second time, and this time the same employee was rude and very short with me. Again he quoted me a price that was ridiculous. I left after getting a some attitude from the employee. I was able to pack and ship else where for almost 1/3 the cost. I won't be going back. read more
