I met my first rude UPS counter agent in the Lincoln store. Young man was tall, sporting dreadlocks (which looked great by the way), and a BAD attitude. Insisted he had to 're-package the box I was sending. I explained I have send the same box from a dozen different locals in the area. It was a box I use for my business and send via UPS just about every other day. I told him I could go to any other store and ship it without any issue and he said "yeah, then you should take it there!" I took it to Roseville and shipped it from there. I also asked to put the sales slip in the box and he said it would be attached to me shipping instructions and I wouldn't receive a copy if I did that. I have "always" received a duplicate copy. Today i paid DoorDash to drop off a ups box for me- the driver ditched the bay & took off- not even leaving the return label. Great that the UPS store in Lincoln has a few favorable comments, my experiences are not great at all. A total of five different times packages have been lost even though there are package slips in my box and I have emails reflecting the tracking numbers. After researching the tracking numbers which confirms the package(s) were delivered to the UPS counter I'm told by a UPS employee the packages are not there. This is unacceptable service and a better system needs to be implemented on the accountability of incoming packages this office receives. read more

I was having some problems with my label in the meantime one of the associates was upset With another co worker.i heard her cuss at least 4 times while I was standing there! BEWARE items packed and shipped at this location were "LOST". I shipped a computer from this store and in order to have it packaged correctly, I paid them for The packaging. The guys asked questions about the laptop- "this is really cool does it turn into a tablet?" The tracking number on my receipt never showed up on UPS. When I called the store they gave me a different tracking number. After waiting for three weeks for UPS to do an investigation, it was determined that the package never was picked up at the store. When the owner of the store was called. He never returned our call . THIS IS NOT A REPUTABLE BUSINESS. Now I have to go through the Finally talked to the owner. He told me he'd call me back as soon as I gave him the information. I week later not even a call to check in. Tried going through corporate but each store is individually owned and they are very limited on what they can "force" him to do. Stay away ! Your shipment is not safe here! I have been going to this UPS store for over a year now and I have finally decided to leave a review. Today I went to get a photograph taken for renewal of my passport. In front of me was a lady who asked to have an item notarized. The customer service person replied "won't be here until 4 today." No attempt to offer her any suggestions on how to resolve her need for a notary. I walked up to the counter and asked to have a passport picture taken. "Cameras broke and trying to get another one." I have had occasions when customer service was provided but not in the most friendly manner possible. Additionally, the store is always filthy and disorganized and the floor always has debris on it. This store is convenient to where I live but after not being treated in a professional manner and their lack of being able to help customers I will gladly drive a little further to Rocklin instead of doing business here. read more

I rarely give reviews but this particular UPS store and the older gentleman needs to be fired! His customer service skills are awful, he is rude, short answered and honestly just a jerk. The poor younger employee was working his butt off as the older gentleman told the line of 5 people "be with you when he can". When it came to my turn in line, he made some smart a$$ comment about what I needed, then he tells me to pull my mask up all the way(my mask was on and he is behind a face shield AND plexiglass!) He started mumbling something about "they get in trouble" ...whatever....as I finished my business, again he made another snide comment and said don't come back. Trust me I have been in this store 3 times and this is definitely the last time!! read more

Friendly and courteous. The young gentleman this morning kept his cool as well as the other gentleman that was working when there was an issue with a customer regarding mask compliance. The store is small and for the protection of all I am glad they enforce it. One customer didn't have a mask and the gentleman offered to assist her outside to accommodate her not having a mask. The store has limited employee which makes the customer service slow and unfriendly. The store is dirty and appears unorganized. The lack of consistency is apparent when asked if they have a postal pick up. Some days they do and other days they don't. My friend left his expensive sunglasses at my house... he lives in Southern California, so I shipped them out from this store... a few weeks later, my friend let me know he has not received his glasses yet... so I followed up with the store and was told they'd open a claim and try to locate the package. After a few weeks of checking on the status, and not getting anywhere with UPS Corporation, the manager at this store provided compensation to my friend for the missing sunglasses and took it upon himself to handle the claim with UPS himself so I didn't have to keep waiting. This place has definitely changed this past year! Something is seriously different & wrong. Customer service is non-existent & don't bother telling a mgr or owner, because that's who you're dealing with. They don't deserve our business with the consistent bad service, lost & missing packages, machines & printers not working, bare shelves, not adhering to posted store hours, and list of mishaps goes on & on. Lincoln is a very pretty and placid foothills town, and the UPS Store's owner, Kern is as efficient and professional as you would expect from a recent New York transplant (yes, he's moved cross-country and cross-culturally from Gotham). But he also exudes the friendliness of his adopted small town. I went to his store for LiveScan fingerprinting. There was a technical glitch during the transmission of the prints to the DOJ, but Kern handled my frustration with grace and quick responsiveness. read more

A cautionary tale. I shipped 2 boxes of china in dish-pack boxes to my daughter on April 22, 2019 Both boxes were insured. My daughter never received them. The UPS tracking information showed that the items were damaged. I contacted both this franchise operation and UPS to try to file a claim and UPS referred me to the franchise stating that claim form(s) had already been forwarded to them. I went to the shipping location on May 7th, 2019 and spoke to the manager/owner? Kern. He seemed responsive and said he would follow up on it but, said he would need something to establish the value of the items. I provided this information to him by email the same day. On May 23rd I sent a follow up email asking for status of claim, no response. I have made several more attempts to follow up since then in person but, have never seen or heard from Kern since. I just went in again on June 18th and this time a clerk offered me $40 out of the till after a brief phone conversation with someone. He said it was to cover the shipping cost, which was close to that figure. He also made comments to the effect that the fault lay with the UPS and not with them. Interesting, as UPS indicated that the fault lay with the franchise. I refused the cash as I really want the claim to be processed in addition to having shipping costs refunded. The clerk promised to follow up on the claim and that he would call me that afternoon. I have heard nothing from them since. I have lost the china, the insurance seems to be worthless and a customer gets to twist in the wind. read more

Boy, the last few reviews of 5 stars...those customers must have been on something. I had the worst experience with this store. Last Thursday I sent a letter/envelop to the Bay Area. I checked today, and I see that it had been returned to Lincoln on Friday? I called the Lincoln UPS store, the fellow said, "yea, it was returned on Friday because the company where I sent the paper work to, had moved." I called the company, a Financial Institute in the Bay Area and asked if they had moved and to gave me their correct address. [The company had sent me some important documents to sign with a self addressed envelop...which was the correct address]. The company said that they had not moved in 25 years. At any rate, the envelop was returned to the Lincoln UPS store on Friday, October 1, 2021. I found out that the company I was sending the item to did not receive the envelop on Monday 10/4/2021. I called the Lincoln UPS store and asked them what happened. They looked in the computer and said that the driver said that the company had moved. [I really wish I knew who this "idiot" UPS drive was.] I also asked why they [the UPS store personal] why they did not call and tell me...they said, "O' Sorry"...really no follow up when items are returned? Not a very good way to run a business...very poor management and organizational skills. I went to the Lincoln UPS store at 4:00 pm 10/4/2021 and wanted to see the envelop...after flailing around the store for about 10 minutes, they finally found my envelop under another box. Obviously returns are not processed in any organized manner...poor managerial skills... The store is totally disorganized. They may be running a scam, since I had to "re-mail" the envelop, ensuring that it gets there by tomorrow, and then they charging me the over night fees...very expensive...getting me to pay twice when I should have only had to pay once. This place is a joke, boxers all over the place, and very dirty. if you can help it, stay away from this place. From now on I will go to the US Post Office or the UPS store in Rocklin. Never to return to this place again!!! I hate to say that this is a Lincoln business...does not do much for Lincoln. read more
