The location of this store is very handy as we shop at Nob Hill frequently. We've used their notary service, and it worked just fine. We've also used them for passport photos, which were deemed "unacceptable" when we submitted them, so we had to pay again to get them done elsewhere. Most of the people we've encountered have been reasonably friendly and helpful. I don't know if I'll be going here again since they no longer accept USPS packages, and that's the service we ship with most often. read more

My wife and me recently dropped off packages to be shipped at the UPS Store on E. Stanley Avenue. The process to pay for the service was terrible to say the least. Two different people had to complete the transaction, because nobody could simply type the recipient address. With no manager in the store, we had no choice but to endure the lack of proper customer service. We called back later in the day and asked for the store manager/owner to call us so we can notify them of the situation. No call back. Today, we tried to track the packages and could not. So we called the store and they said the packages were never sent out! We called the store and they could not give us a proper reason for not sending out the packages. The store manager refuses to give us call back after several attempts. I don't get this store. At a time when small businesses should be welcoming business, this particular one cares very little for customers. Avoid this UPS store. Find another one or use FED EX instead. read more

Ive been renting a PMB for 8 months now. So far so good. Gary is very helpful.

I frequently use this location andon this occasion failed to print the full bar code label for one of my multiple packages being shipped. The employees offered to print the label from email for me but at a charge of like $4 which I found egregious so I said I would take the 1 package home, reprint the label and ship it another day. After calculating in my head my time value of money and fuel costs to return the package another day, I relented and agreed to pay the $4. Sensing my exasperation, the manager offered to print my label for free if I wrote a YELP review which I'm finally doing now. The team at this UPS store have always been very courteous and knowledgeable and so I always recommend everybody to use their services. As fate would have it, I forgot to include a small tool in one of the packages and when I returned with it they opened the package not yet picked up and inserted the tool without any additional charge. I would recommend they reconsider the print label fee but other than that UPS Store Stanley Blvd. team rocks! read more

I came in to mail 1 box (with 5 items inside) for returns to Amazon. The woman who was helping me sarcastically asked if I was going put 5 labels on the outside of the box. Huh? Umm no.. I clarified that I'd like to place 1 on the outside and the other 4 inside so Amazon has the appropriate info for processing. Then she asked if I brought my own packing tape as they charge to tape the box closed... well of course I did not, never have I been charged for tape and she said would be $2.50. Now keep in mind I maybe needed 2 feet of tape and I would have taped before coming but part of the UPS option I selected is for them to print the label for you.. Anyhow, I felt that was fairly ridiculous and on top of her nonchalant attitude to begin with, politely declined services and will ship from my usual Pleasanton location. Sadly I do not recommend this location and will likely consider a different shipping method altogether for Amazon returns in the future. Maybe they don't make much on these services, but have signed up to do so and unfortunately give a bad name to UPS who are otherwise very helpful. read more

AVOID this place, it's a disgrace to the Livermore community - update from the Friday, 24th (today is Tuesday, 28) I would give no stars ... If I could. The boy worker just called me with food in his mouth, chewing in my ear. I instructed him to "finish his lunch" and call me back and he continued to talk to me with a mouth full. This UPS store is a disgrace to the Livermore community the worst customer experience ever. * The store is dirty and unsafe during Covid-19 * The teenagers and the store do not know what they are doing to help people coming into the store * I had to set the standard and direct them - step by step * They could not charge my card - had to move to another register and wait to have everything reentered again. * Accused me of "not paying" * Harassed me all day on Friday for payment. * I made sure with the Visa company that the charged had cleared * Called on Tuesday, April 28th to follow- up on why they DID not ship my boxes and, I get no answer. Boy working there is not ( nor the manager has taken responsibility) * I have asked to talked to the store manager 100 x's We need to fix this People in the community expect great customer services especially during this pandemic - we all need to WFH to accommodate our work but, this UPS location has cause to many headaches and hardship to get our job done. Worst Customer Service I have EVER encountered. I had a UPS box here for over 2 years. The owner and employees are unwilling to help, they always seem too busy to check to see if mail has arrived, over charge for services like faxing and packaging, and hold your mail hostage if you are late in paying for your box, then charge an astronomical late fee. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING! They didn't forward my mail as requested, and now they want to charge nearly $15 to forward ONE piece of mail. I also believe that I was double charged for my last month, and refused to pay for it, but because they were holding my mail "hostage" I had no choice but to pay them! I use UPS stores quite often, but this place was the worst. I was in Livermore for a meeting and I had 4 boxes to ship. I ran out of tape that morning, so I was planning on stopping at the office supply store to buy more, but I drove past this place and so I figured I'd buy a roll there or like most UPS stores, they will just do it since you are giving them business. Not this place...they charged $5 for the 2 boxes. I can see a nominal charge, but was over the top. As I said...I had 4 boxes, all with prepaid labels and two needed a strip of tape across the top. Also, I was in there for over 10 minutes (no line...just a very slow clerk)...the guy acted like he's never taped a box. If you are going to charge me that amount of money, then I expect you can do it quickly and efficiently. I watched other people being helped...and I just found them to be very curt and bothered to have to help people. My next stop was the office supply store...where I bought three rolls of tape for $7.00. This UPS store wanted over $9.00 for a small roll. I'm all for paying for products and services I use...but don't try to gauge me. Even though I thought he was rude and slow...I would have given them 4 stars if they had been nice and said they'd only charge for one package. It's called customer service and building your business. Now, I'll wait and go to other UPS stores. read more

The absolute worst customer service imaginable from the 20 something female employee. I waited to be helped while she rudely assisted the lady before me. I thought trying to be as nice as possible would brighten her day a little to NO avail. Stay clear of this store. She MUST be related to the owner because fellow employees also get her rath. My plan was just to contact the manager, which I NEVER do, but this is how blown away I was by the experience I just had in this place. I was on my way to get ice cream with my kids, and I stopped in this UPS store quickly to inquire about a PO Box for my boss. The guy named ROBERT behind the counter treated me so rude and with such disrespect that I was completely and totally dumbfounded. His attitude so resembled apathy that it was alarming he is able to work with the public. By reading these horrible reviews, I doubt writing the manager will make a difference. I wish I could inject good manners and good customer service to some people that are in the customer service business! I had a couple of packages to ship so I went to this place. The lady at the counter wasn't friendly at all and I felt like I bothered her by being there! :/ One of my items needed to be packaged so I asked her if they do that and she said yes. I had read the bad reviews about the other UPS store in town (1st st.) and knew they may charge for packaging (of course I was gonna pay for the box and bubbles they were gonna use). She said it would cost me $49.00 for packaging alone!!!! Hello? What do they package with? Gold? The shipping fee seemed awfully high to since it was only to Southern California. So basically it would cost me $110.00 to send to small/medium packages from Livermore to LA! I think not. If you don't care about money, their location and services may be convenient but if you don't like throwing away your money, go to Walmart, buy a box and some bubbles and print a UPS shipping label on line and just drop it off at this place. They are not a UPS store...they just represent them..(which is a shame!) and they charge you whatever they like....tooooooo much. :( read more

REALLY WOULD RATHER THERE BE NO STAR FOR THIS BUSINESS I was away from home in late November 2016 On 11/20, I received a "UPS My Choice" email that a package was to be delivered to my residence in California within days. On 11/21 using the UPS My Choice website I requested that the package be delivered to a UPS store (849 E Stanley Blvd, Livermore CA) to be held there for pick up as I would not be home for nine more days and feared the package would be stolen. I assumed from scanning the UPS' website for delivery options that there would to be no additional charge for rerouting to a UPS Store since I was registered with UPS My Choice. On 11/25 my package was delivered to the UPS Store at 849 E. Stanley Blvd. to be held for will call. Upon my return on 12/01, I picked up my package and was charged $10 as a fee for redirecting my package to this UPS Service Store. I told them I thought there was to be no charge but they stuck to the $10 fee. I paid the fee reluctantly, and said I would be writing a letter to UPS. A cheeky young clerk then offered to sell me a stamp for that letter. I emailed a complaint to UPS Corporate on a weekend, attaching copies of register receipt for the $10 fee and shipping labels. I was amazed that I received a response immediately from their customer service. My complaint was that I was made to pay the $10 fee levied by this, seemingly autonomous and opportunistic Livermore UPS Store who held my package as hostage. UPS Corporate confirmed that there should be no additional charge to have my package held for will call at any UPS Store of my preference. This was not a good way to start the holiday season. The contents of the package was a gift of $15 worth of peppermint bark for which I paid $10 to physically receive and I had to deal with the brusk personnel at the UPS Store. UPS Customer Service wanted me to return to the Livermore UPS Store for reimbursement of the fee they charged. I told them based on this experience I would never go back to that store and I wish that UPS Corporate would reprimand them for their conduct. I was then reimbursed by UPS Corporate with their apologies. I recently rerouted a Fedex pkg to be held for pickup at the FedEx Store on 1st Street by Target. I picked up that pkg and was NOT charged a fee! read more

This is probably the worst UPS store that I have been too. They don't have UPS envelopes, UPS box's or UPS labels. Remember this is a UPS Store (and those items are usually FREE) . They force you to buy their envelopes and their box's . They purposely hide the UPS labels, so you can't use your own UPS number to ship an item. This way they can force you to purchase shipping directly with them and charge you 100% markup. I just went across the street to FedEx. read more

This last time I mailed a get well package to my daughter who lives out of state. Two and a half weeks later, the package shows up on my doorstep with a sticker on it that says return to sender for postage. You're kidding me? I agree with others about this place. I wanted to ship the box to arrive on Monday and was told that wasn't an available option for arrival in time for Xmas. Really? I was pushed into paying way too much for a box to arrive on Friday. I do think that these stores are not regulated by UPS - there was no weight on the ticket and I wasn't told how much it weighed. I shipped it only because it was on the way home from work and I didn't want to deal with the post office. Next time, it's the post office no matter what the circumstances. This rivals the UPS store on First Street for overcharging and poor service. read more

Just for the passport picture...I never knew a passport picture can look like a twisted ghost face. I hope the custom can let my 6-year-old pass. This UPS won't let us take more than one shot and would not retake it. You only have one second for one shot. Once your kid sit straight on his back, it is done!
