Leslie was assisting me with finalizing the photo, the rudest low life lady was standing behind me asking Leslie for a Manager for her bad prints.. Leslie patiently tried to assist this lady but I had a meeting. I politely ask Leslie if she could complete my order. The low life lady who appeared as African American started going after me who is also African American, She said something like that's the problem with you Black Men?? The staff was trying to calm her down and she was Psycho! I found out that this Lady filed a negative review immediately after leaving the Store. I'm sad to write this review but an interaction with a cashier made me feel very uncomfortable. I went in one day to buy poster boards for my kids project. As I was cashing out the cashier proceeded to ask me if I was buying the poster board for the protests (against ICE). I asked why? She proceeded to say it was ridiculous what "they" were doing and that according to her no violence occurred during the BLM protests. I've come here for about a year, mostly for the printing services as I'm a university student, and to buy a few miscellaneous office supplies like pen ink refills, Post-Its, and a folder. But a few months ago, we saw a deal on a sandwich board directly outside the front door advertising a "student printer bundle," which included an HP printer, two ink cartridges, and a ream of paper for $100. A couple weeks later, we decided to do it. We walked in, asked an associate on the floor about it, and they said "Go up to the register, they'll set you up there." So we went and waited in line (not too long, like two customers ahead of us), but when we got to the cashier, she told us we're supposed to go get the printer ourselves, then bring it up and she would add on the ink and paper. 10 minutes later, we located the printer specified in the ad, and carried it up to the register. The cashier then started adding in the ink and a 20 lb. box of paper. Confused, we clarified that we wanted to do the student printer bundle on the board outside that came with only one ream of paper. She was completely bewildered, asked "For THIS store?" and ended up calling over a supervisor. He explained the deal to her and that all she had to do was scan all the products, and the total would automatically change to $100. She did that and it worked. After the supervisor walked away, she told us she had no idea about that deal. We thought that was very weird because that board had been in front of the store for at LEAST two weeks that she would've had to walk by? Also, shouldn't the employees know about the deals going on? Here's the part that really sent us: As we paid and finished checking out, the cashier's cell phone rang, she ANSWERED it on speaker phone, and it was clearly some man (adult son or husband?) at home. She continued casually chatting with him about nothing while she bagged up our items. ("What's wrong?" "Nothing, why?" "You sound weird." "I just woke up." "Oh... Well what are you doing?") Finally as we grabbed our bag and receipt and started to walk away, she mouthed "Bye." to us, the CUSTOMERS, so as not to interrupt her phone call. Lol, it was surreal. The printer bundle deal was great and we're glad it worked out, but man. That store does not run smoothly and the cashiers need... more professional development. read more

Great place to get wedding programs (and other printed material) quickly and accurately (even the night before the wedding). For our daughter's wedding, it was a melding of both Korean and Filipino traditions. Having everything accurate in the wedding program was crucial: from making sure each step was outlined correctly, to making sure each participant was accurately mentioned for others to see. Plus it will remain as an important keepsake for the future, when reflecting on the event with fond memories. Because things were still changing so close to the wedding, my wife decided to print the final version after the last rehearsal. This required using Office Depot as the printer, and picking them on the day of the wedding. It was important enough for her to pick them up personally. She also printed out giant foam board that listed all the guests and table assignments (in addition to the hand written place cards for every guest that were put on each table). She said well some people just order it right now and when you're here within 5 minutes we can look up the order and you can take it and get your discount for 20%. Well I made the order for some reason it didn't go through 15 minutes later sales representative or maybe even the manager looked at my phone number. Couldn't find anything so I don't know if it went through or I screwed up or something but he said you know what I'm sorry you're having to wait here took me to the cashier himself and took 20% off without the coupon. Not safe to park at this location. I ran in for 5 minutes to buy a badge holder and came out to find my laptop briefcase stolen from my car. The briefcase included all of my electronics like work laptop, personal MacBook, AirPods, and IPad. I parked directly in front of the entrance door thinking that was safe, but this store clearly lacks any security. I was hurt to find out there were no outside cameras at all. This makes me believe the person is very familiar with the store lack of security. Also the possibility someone provided information about my whereabouts inside the store. Needed things printed and supplies to buy for a baby shower. I tried printing myself using the self printing machines, but no machine read my USB drive. The same drive I just used to put pictures in. I tried asking for help, but I was ignored. The 2 people at the print center saw me, and ignored me. Not even any sign of greeting or acknowledgement. I needed to up grade my printer/fax machine for the office at home. I was taking care of some business in Signal Hill Ca and decided to check this place out. There is plenty of free parking in the front and back, this store is pretty huge. We were greeted by two of the staff when we walked in. a sales rep asked if could he be any he for we were looking for, guided us to the aisle and stated that he would meet us be over there. He was there to assist us in just a matter of minutes. He went over some HP, Edison and Canon office machine's the up's & down's pro's & con's, no pressure from him at all...we later found out he was the store manger, Mr. Jose Gomez. He made sure we were getting all the information we needed to make the correct decision. This store is very clean inside. We had a great experience there...what put the icing on the cake was when the manger Jose Gomez put the Items we purchased on a cart & rolled it to our car...and didn't stop there, he physically helped me put it in my car. Manager Was Great -- Friendly and Accommodating I had a great experience. It started when I pulled into the parking lot just a few minutes before closing. As I walked toward the door an employee came out to bring a sign in, so I turned back toward my car. He called out and waved me in. I said I knew what I wanted and that it was in stock. Horrible. I purchased an item online at around 11:00 PM on a Friday night. I sought to cancel it within 30 minutes of purchasing it. There's no option to do that, unlike with many, many online large retailers. Take Staples, for example. The next morning, I reached out to customer service to see if they could physically do it for me, since customers don't have the option on our end. Of course they couldn't. Useless. I spoke to an agent who said I could either physically return the item in store, or refuse the delivery. I work 5 days/week and anticipated that I wouldn't be there to refuse it, and overall, was skeptical about the process the measures they alleged would follow. So I came back from work and found the item on my door step. The next morning I drove to Signal Hill with the package--unopened, receipt still in the box, and presented it before the staff at the customer service desk. She cut the box open, looked at the delivery slip inside, and said, "Oh no. We can't accept this since we don't sell it in store." Absolutely contradicting what the agent told me over the phone. She then proceeded to tell me, to call 1-800-Depot or whatever the number is and wrote it on the delivery slip, and taped it back up for me. read more

I told the sales associate what I was looking for, as I had a picture from online of what I wanted and he paged someone in the interior radio and he brought the items for me, 2 filing cabinets and I went to pay and then they carried them out to my car and loaded them for me! This particular location is clearly understaffed and lacks any real concern for customer service. 90% of my online orders to the Copy and Print desk are wrong or incomplete causing me to wait or return in a few hours. The answer I always get is "I'm sorry...I'll notify the manager". I've never been contacted by a "manager" so what difference does that make? Also, I have yet to successfully have a call answered at the Copy and Print desk as well. In fact when I was standing in line to pick up my order today, the phone was ringing without being answered. Came in for simple prints to use their google drive method. After waiting 30min finally got one running which for some reason didn't work and decided to move on to another one after it was available. I took about 15min of my figuring out the first printer then waited for assistance which then took about another 15min that got nowhere. When waiting at the new printer for the assistance I was told I was gonna be receiving from what I believe is the manager I was "helped" by another associate. After telling him everything I did and how none of it worked he then insisted on doing it all over again which then locked out my google account. Then after doing so tells me the other option of how to get my prints done. Then proceeded to tell me that I should go watch a video a 11min YouTube to get it unlocked. That down right ego, disrespect, disregard, and unprofessionalism from this associate as well as the sheer fact that none of them (3 associates) took the time to truly understand what I said with my problem with the printer to better assist me, literally just waisted my time, and made my day far more stressful. I definitely suggest going somewhere else for your printing needs. These guys only seem to be able to read Barney style instructions and understand nothing else especially costumer interactions. I was told they were short staffed and that employee walked away.....he just WALKED AWAY! Half of the office chair floor samples were filthy and either put together wrong or coming apart. Every time I come here, the people who work behind the print counter have the worst customer service. The last time I came here I needed help with printing something large. Instead of helping me out, they let me stand awkwardly at the counter while they helped other customers with my drive still plugged in. Instead of telling me the problem. I had a great experience with this location, especially since I was THAT customer who asked for products that are kept in the back and then right after my purchase, decided to exchange it for a different brand. (I deserve one star for that one.) PLUS, they honored the in-store price even though it was different than the one on-line price. The two employees at the registers were pleasant and patient. I wish I knew their names so I could call them out. It was the Monday AM shift.
