I was completely satisfied with my transaction that was done here. My visit was during a very chaotic time but from Alexis wonderful disposition, I couldn't really tell. I call it a very chaotic time because it was a very busy day for this location. There were packages everywhere. Parking was horrible (thus the four stars) because its shared with a body and or tire shop. It almost felt as though you would hit someone trying to back out. Thank you Christian!! I have never shipped anything out and Christian was so helpful today. I had already gone to USPS and had no luck there. I came 5 minutes before they closed and Christian went to the back pulled out the perfect box to ship a light saber (u can imagine what kind of box I needed for this) he made sure the item was snug and did not move around the box, covered it with caution fragile item stickers and created my label. Been coming here for 20+ years now. Never again. They couldn't care less about their customers. I've accepted the price gauging from them over the years but today was the last straw. They refused to accept my label because they did not want to manually input it. I called customer service and explained it to them and they wanted to speak with the employee. She literally just ignored their request. They then called her at the store and she looked at the caller ID and refused to answer it. The customer service rep was nice enough to setup a pickup at my house but this was a complete pain in my a--. Long story short. I'm filing a complaint..and I'm never going back. Alexis Has helped me out both at this store and the Culver city location and every time is an absolute pleasure. My first experience I was waiting in line and Alexis was helping three customers at once. she was politely helping A woman that was trying to figure out how to print some thing, she was simultaneously helping another woman that needed help packaging some thing and at the same time she was trying to find some mail Or a gentleman that couldn't locate all his packages. Zero signs of stress, moving seamlessly From each customer to the next to make sure not a second of her personal time was wasted. if she had a second with a customer while they were doing something she would immediately move to the next person and try to fill her spare time with helping them. She kept this up until the line was completed, it was like juggling customers but with absolute precision and perfection. Alexis is an absolutely gem, any employer is lucky to have her. I rarely use UPS store to mail something, but when I do I usually go into the 4859 West Slauson Unit A and mail my package. I love this UPS, the two clerks that are always there when I go in are nice, respectful, professional and always have a nice smile on their faces which can still be seen through their mask because of this Covid situation. They always greet you with a warm hello, being good morning, or good afternoon. I just had to write a 5 star review because they always do a great job at that UPS store. I don't have the words to explain how happy I am with that store being there. One of the greatest business in this area. This place gets an A plus for customer service and friendliness. It gets an F grade for parking lots. I got trapped in the lot when dropping off a box because some guy was waiting to park for the auto repair business. There is a very busy auto repair shop in the same mini mall and the parking situation is a nightmare. If you can find an easier UPS Store for parking I would recommend you do so. read more

First off I want to thank the customer service representative Alexis. I just left from her store not too long ago. I've been trying to return some shoes that I purchased online for forever now. I was so disappointed in the shoes because they were not what I expected at all. It was false advertising basically. Now the last time I came to this location, which was about two weeks ago their printer was down. Today when I walked in I asked Alexis if the printer was working and she said yes. I was so relieved. I came in on a Friday evening wanting to mail out a package. As soon as the lady saw the package she said I couldn't mail it through UPS because it had the postal office label. I expressed I understand I am willing to pay to be mailed here because post office is closed. Then she starts to speak to me in Spanish because I am Latina. I expressed and told her I speak English fluently and I can pay for it. She then goes to measure the package and another sales person was joining the conversation saying it cannot be mailed although I have the address It must be mailed to. The owner of this UPS Store try to charge me $1.50 per page for black and white because I use a USB on the printer. I explained to her that the price should be around $0.12 a page and she said no and if I didn't want to pay it she could Shred the document and I can go somewhere else. I am at Staples and it is $0.77 total for my 7 pages. This crazy lady was trying to charge me $10.50 for 7 pages. I placed an online print order, very basic about 200 pages black and white on standard copy paper... by their estimate at time of order it would be ready today by 3. I just called at 2:25 to verify status so I can start heading over to pick it up, and they told me nonchalantly that my order had been canceled. Zero attempt to notify me, my phone number is on the order... zero attempt to rectify the situation... just "our copier is undergoing maintenance". Then why are you accepting orders if you have scheduled maintenance? I checked the site right now and I can place the order again, if their machine is down why are they still letting people place online orders? Every time I have to go in there to drop off a package the employees are also bickering at each other, right in front of a long line of customers. These people need to get it together. read more

Go somewhere else to ship your packages. This place is dump!! HORRIBLE STORE!. It's filthy AF - garbage all over the floor. The air conditioning doesn't work and to top it off the store clerk (boy working Saturday 9/2 in the afternoon) that helped me was incredibly rude. First, he couldn't enter the zip code in his system correctly and continuously transposed the number which pulls up the wrong address. Then, I asked twice if I could use the tape which was right in back of him, to seal my package, and he just kept answering "I'll do it!" which of course had me concerned since I revealed the cost of the package was several hundred dollars, after he stated it wasn't worth sending since "it's only worth $50 and it'll cost $60 to ship back." Clearly ignorantly making assumptions. When I tracked the packed today, I found out it was picked up Tuesday, 9/5 at 6:27 pm. Totally unacceptable when I dropped the package off on Saturday, 9/2, before 2 pm. So it basically sat in the store almost 4 days before being picked up. Yes, they're closed on Sundays and Monday was a holiday, but they were open until 5 pm on Saturday and they open at 8:30 am. My package should've been picked up before 6:27 pm. Parking is a disaster. Two reasons to stay away: 1. They charge an arm and a leg for printing. 2. The owner is RUDE! Here's the long story: I went in to print two pages and they charge $1.50 per page for black and white! I was logging on to my email and couldn't remember the password so I asked an employee if there was another way I could print, since many other UPS stores allow you to email them the docs to print. A RUDE lady jumps in and starts going off about how at FedEx they charge you per minute to use the computer and that she *only* charges $1.50 per page. So I'm snarky back and inform her that other UPS stores only charge a few cents per page and that I didn't need a lecture from her. Thankfully she shut her trap after that because I couldn't be too snarky since I still needed my pages. Eventually I print and go to pay. I asked the lady checking me out if the rude lady was in charge and she said yes and that she was the OWNER. Somebody needs a class on how to treat their customers, especially since they're the reason you're in business. Lastly, their computer is right in front of a window and the sun shines right into your eyes so you can barely see what you're doing. Beware! This store has awful customer service, almost laughable but in a serious ways things at the store are fundamental screwed up! Here is my story: I went in to ship off an air conditioner to the manufacture, being past 60 years old, I needed help to get the machine into the store. I was hoping to find a strapping lad, but instead was met by a young woman who insisted on carrying an air conditioner, against my advice, after dropping it several times, and then telling me "oh well"! I said, no, things could go pretty badly if the air conditioner is inoperable because of your mishandling of it. With no resolve, the clerk handed my receipt and did not even tell me have a good day! Go somewhere else for your postal services. This location alters it contracts and then will not give you your money back. Thought I wanted a post office box at this location. Found cheaper box. I open the box on the April 17th I called on April 19th to cancel the box, came into the location on April 23rd to request a refund for not using this service and was told I could not get a refund. I asked so for not providing me with any service you still will keep my monies the owner said yes. Called corporate and learned that my contract had been altered and was not the standard contract and I could pursue other legal remedies regarding this, but they could not help me with a refund. The altered contract and the non-use of services is my civil way of getting my $100 back. This location is the worst representation of the UPS Corporation...customer service is not a priority or concern for this owner.. I had a rough start at this location for my business box with a disputed as to if a package, a very expensive package was or was not delivered. It was and they had put it in with the outgoing instead of the incoming. They blamed it on the Amazon delivery guy but they did search for a bit to find it and I've never had an issue since then. The workers are the same from week to week which is nice because you get to know faces. They are ALWAYS nice and speak to me even if they are busy. I like coming here. And they're not expensive the best part it is a physical address and not a P.O. like USPS.
