This store doesn't even deserve negative stars. We shipped an item through the store. We paid for a box at the store as well as placed insurance on it as the store sold it to us. The gentlemen behind the counter (Shawn) said to leave the item he would box it up and take care of it. Another customer standing at the counter told us we were crazy to ship through UPS as they do not handle the items properly they get thrown, tossed, dropped, fork lift damage etc. Everyone behind the counter just giggled and laughed. Low and behold this item arrived to my customer completely destroyed. UPS denied the claim stating the box was not a certified shipping box nor was it packaged properly when it was purchased and packaged from the UPS Store. UPS Store #5143 has come back with their denial that they didn't package the item and that they offered to package it for 200.00 which is BS. Why did they sale me the box and they packaged it as well as sale me the insurance? Don't ever ship from this store!!!! I am out 750.00 due to the lack of competence of the employees that work at this store. The owner has hid behind the phone now for over 40 days trying to get this resolved. I have no other option but to pursue legal action. Beware the owner of this store also owns four other local stores. read more

Well let me start off by stating... I needed a lot of help today. I decided it was time to stop slacking and start adulting so keep in mind I have never stepped foot in a post office prior to today. It was unmarked territory for me... my palms were sweating and I was getting a bit anxious. As soon as I walked in I wasn't sure what questions to ask without looking like a "newb". Store manager, Darian refused to help me and refused let me speak to store owner to resolve this matter. Darian told me he would not even leave my number so store owner could contact me personally. I asked when is the store owner in store, and Dairan said, "when he is" and would not give me any specific information. Even after I contacted UPS customer service and spoke to a supervisor who was willing to issue me a refund, and who I had physically on the phone when I conferenced called this local store. The UPS supervisor said the money goes to the local store on an invoice and then the local store refunds the money to me. Darian still refused to forward the refunded money to me even if ups authorized it. read more

I received great customer service! Ismael went above and beyond to help me, and that means a lot as I was with my crying newborn, and 3 yrs. old toddler. Today I took a package to this location for shipment. Somehow, in the process of assembling the box, I managed to put my glasses inside the package. After having left the store following the transaction, I discovered my glasses were missing but did not know where I had left them. Upon my return to the store, the staff was extremely diligent in helping me search. In fact, one of them suggested that they might have gotten sealed into the box. The box was retrieved and the glasses were, indeed, inside. My great thanks to the employees there in the store. Around Xmas 2019 I had a issue with my local UPSi took a small container to be shippe cross crountrytolde her it was a old gold coin worth 950$ she asked me if I wanted it insured I said yes of course Gave her the envelope with coin inside and address on the envelope. Come to find out I was told Ups didn't insure that that kind of package. Also delivered to wrong address bottom line I would not receive ins claim being shipped to wrong address I have receipt of ins I purchased I have receipt where package finally ended up bottom this is my fault I was suppose to know they didn't insure this kinda of package also they r the the ones who took package with address on it. UPS has rejected my claim for money back or at least the coin. I can only describe my adventure with UPS as B a total 1000$ loss Very unprofessional I will never use their shoddy service again! read more

Echoing the review for FAILED TIMELY DELIVERY. Told the manager (LaShaun) that we wanted the item sent with Next day delivery. Paid the ridiculous price associated with such a delivery of a simple envelope and received a receipt with next day delivery date clearly shown. Five (5) days later, when the item finally arrives, called the store to complain and (LaShaun) takes the phone. Reiterated the facts of the transaction and (LaShaun) points out the item was actually sent with USPS 2-day delivery. This in spite of the expressly requested Next day delivery. Here's the kicker: (LaShaun), after pointing out the USPS service choice, states that since we were too stupid, ignorant, hurried ETC. to read the small print, points out it just our fault for the UNTIMELY DELIVERY. ANOTHER CLASSIC "NOT MY FAULT" EXCUSE. Talk about POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, it causes one to wonder about (LaShaun's) competence and integrity or even his least expected level of customer satisfaction. Here is my take away (besides never again conducting business with this store), if you want competent service and delivery as promised make sure your are not dealing with the manager (LaShaun) read more

Stay away from this place! They have almost doubled their pricing from other local UPS stores. I was just quoted a shipping price of $138 from the location on Grape st in Lake Elsinore, however they didn't have the right size box so I decided to give this place a try. They just quoted me $244 to ship the same box to the same zip code. They also marked there box up to $58 for two when Elsinore was charging $21. Not the first time I've walked out of this location. read more

Today, I showed up. This very nice young lady at the front (Norma) assisted me in packaging my mother's birthday present. She took her time and made sure everything was secure and neatly packaged. When she had questions of her own her STore lead Solange stepped in and assisted her with completing my service. Everyone within this establishment was very professional. I am very disappointed in this place. Returning a package to Amazon was a horrible experience. My printer wasnt working so I took my oversized return to them. I showed the lady at the counter on Saturday my email and she said I had to print it out. Tried to get internet connection no connection had to go to jack in the box and get internet then emailed to ups store like she ask. But when I got back to the store they told my granddaughter it would be 3$ for them to print the label. I was never told there was a fee. I am handicapped and retired so 3$ I didnt have. So took this oversized package back home. Got my printer working printed label struggle to get the amazon box back in my car went back to ups had no help to get the box in because I walk with a cane stood in line with other customers a youngman said it was my turn but he saw me struggling and was told by 2 customers i needed help but he didnt offer so a customer picked up the box then the youngman told me it would be $4 to tape the box. I was shocked i told him i cant afford that. He gave me my receipt and i told him to just ship it folded the way i had it. But another lady told me she didnt have to pay for her box to be tapped. Ever since they sold this store it is horrible. I called amazon and ups corporate. I was told Amazon pays the ups store so why are they charging Prime members for a piece of paper or tape. Stay away. They are not treating Amazon customers right. They r not a good representation of UPS and making Amazon look bad. I will take my business elsewhere. read more
