We wrestled with some Red Light Hiccups but figured out how to get through it together and Christine helped fill the waiting time with lots of usefully nourishing high value Conversations and Comedy Special recommendations to assist me with my Boomer Sitting Frustration Blues haha! Really bad experience here. I tried to be understanding as to why Rachel was being so rude. I get there is policies in place, but that shouldn't disregard kindness or compassion. Rachel was off to the side while about 4-5 of us waiting in line. She was busy boxing up what seemed to be orders. When the gentleman was doing back to back notaries, she hoped on the register to finally assist him. She didn't apologize for the wait or show any basic customer service skills at all towards anyone she rang through the register. I don't mind the wait but people were leaving behind me and others showing frustration its customary to at least thank guests for being patient or even acknowledge their presence. I finally get up to the front of the line and she says, "you can come over here" very displeased to be there or working. Then immediately follows that by telling me she will charge me due to the box not being taped. Again I understand policy, and every other UPS I have visted never gave me a hard time over less than 14 inches of tape. But it was the extreme lack of compassion and the rudeness that was so frustrating. I explained to her, okay I'll go back to my workplace I was working nearby and seal it up. Less than 12 minutes I return and she has me standing in line again. She was observing the line and telling customers they didn't have to wait for notary in the line so she could have observed my box not sealed and said something ahead of time as she felt confident to pull notary vists out of the line. She carelessly continued to say, "that's fine, that's fine!" I simply just wanted to share it was a bit frustrating waiting twice in line, and share my side of things, then dealing with someone completely rude, and how no other UPS has given me a hard time. I would have taken care of the customer or Again re-enforced the policy with compassion. The reviews I am reading about this location are exactly what my experience was:( I would recommend another location if you can or hope they can retrain her, or take some type of action. You never know what people are going through and the economy is tough rn, kindness goes a long way. I hope things get better for her if she was having a bad day, but you just can't take it out on people like that. I gave two stars even though she was very rude, truly unkind, and insanely strict, because I own the fact that the policy says to seal the box when you click on instructions, and that was a miss on my part, just never knew prior to visiting this store, and that the gentleman working did a great job with customers. Even returning customers in line were excited to see him, and knew his name, (think it was Nicholas) so shoutout to him for the customer empressions he made, and maintaining the long line. Also, called in to speak to customer service about the interaction and they were so polite and apologetic and I really appreciated that. I followed up with a positive survey for them. Absolutely worst UPS store I've ever been to. There is in particular a young female employee that is very disappointing in her treatment of customers, she's had an attitude with me and I've seen her do it with other customers as well. The manager isn't any better in her treatment of long term customers. I've been a box renter at this facility for over 10 years and I received a package for one of our team members, the package had her name on it instead of mine so they wanted to charge me $15 dollars plus $15 dollars per day that the package was there waiting for me to pick up which was about a week, just because my name is the one on the box. They wouldn't give me the package without paying their extortion fee so I told them to send the package back. I would highly recommend driving a little further to the next franchise store where customers are treated with respect. read more

I will not be coming back to this store!!! I had to return a product and the manufacturer sent me a UPS return label. I had boxed the item in the manufacturers box and attached the label to it. when I dropped it off to the store the young lady said that the box had to be in a plain brown box to be shipped . since it was the last day to return the item, I did not have time to go back home and find a plain brown box so I had to pay $42 to put it in a plain brown box. Every time I come to this location they only have one employee working. Doesn't matter the time of day. It's really frustrating. A 5 min Amazon drop off turns into a 30 minute ordeal because they only have one worker in here working and usually customers who don't know what the heck they are doing as well. 0 star review -- not for the place itself, but for the lady staff who works here. She is ridiculously strict for absolutely no reason at all. This is not the first time I've encountered her being unreasonable. I was trying to return an Amazon product and she declined it because she said it had to be in the original manufacturer's box and that the return instructions said it needed to be boxed. The original manufacturer packaging was already inside the box, did it exactly how Amazon instructed it to be packed. I went to another UPS location right after and they accepted it without asking a single question. The inconvenience she gives customers with her made up rules is honestly ridiculous!!! She makes a simple return process unnecessarily difficult depending on her mood. Absolutely the worst UPS Store I've ever been to. I didn't realize there was one on Hamner, I'll be going there from now on. Ive tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but after reading the other reviews I understand my experiences weren't one-offs. Ive been turned away several times stating my returns weren't in proper packaging but were already taped and labeled. Had no issues going Nextdoor and changing the return to Kohls and moving on. I've also tried to return AT&T Equipment here and the person working stated he can't do it because it's not in the system. Without even scanning the return barcode AT&T provided. He proceeded to say "that barcode won't help me" when the email provided by AT&T clearly states "USE THIS BARCODE." He also opened the package and only took out the router and returned the power cord to me saying he doesn't need it but again, the instructions clearly state return with power cord. Just a waste of a trip and waste of my time. Will avoid this place going forward, you should too! read more

Not shocked to see so many poor experiences with Rachel! She was rude, unhelpful, short, snippy, and just overall miserable. I literally walked out and drove to a different store just so I didn't have to interact with her for any longer. I was unsure of how to return my Amazon package because I don't usually return through UPS. When I asked for help/clairfication she said "I don't know I'm not an Amazon shopper, look at the instructions and figure it out." An absolute insane response when dealing with customers. I have been shipping with UPS for many years now and basically have a good a idea of what the cost is and what you guys offer. I walked in today, July 14th around 2 PM in the afternoon there was a petite dark hair girl with terrible attitude and told me they do not offer ground shipping, which is absolutely a lie. I typically shipped a small box that will cost around $12-$18 anywhere in Southern California California. This girl literally was trying to charge me $40-$50 to ship a small box same size box i always shipped ground for many years now with UPS. I've asked her 3 times do you offer ground shipping which I know cost around $14-$18 for basically any southern California address she responded no. Immediately, I went to another UPS store nearby and they have told me she was trying to upsell me and did not want to offer the cheaper option which every UPS locations should have ground shipping. This is absolutely unacceptable and if you keep this employee, she will continue to hurt your business. You can tell she does not care to work there and have no people skills whatsoever. If I were the manager or the owner, I would immediately terminate this employee. She should not work anywhere where she has to deal with people. This is not acceptable Customer Service. read more

I recently visited the UPS location and had an extremely disappointing customer service experience with a younger female employee. During my visit, I was sending out one package and returning an Amazon package. Throughout the interaction, the employee was dismissive, unprofessional, and displayed a negative attitude. Her response was simply that she would "speak with" the employee. There was no indication that the matter would be formally addressed, despite my explaining that this same employee has received multiple prior complaints according to public reviews. This response left me feeling that the concern was not being taken seriously. This type of interaction reflects poorly on the store and discourages customers from returning. After reviewing online feedback, I also noticed multiple similar complaints about this same employee, which suggests this is not an isolated incident. I believe this matter deserves attention, as customer service is a direct reflection of the company's standards and reputation. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a UPS Store. The woman working there today clearly does not want to be there or interact with customers. She doesn't greet anyone, doesn't respond when spoken to, and acts like every question is a personal inconvenience. We all have tough days, but basic courtesy is part of the job..especially when working with the public. Multiple customers, including myself, tried to be polite and patient, but were met with cold silence or attitude. I visited this location on the evening of March 3rd and unfortunately had a very unprofessional interaction with an employee named Brittany she had long black hair. I came in with several return packages (mostly Amazon and one TikTok return). When clarifying the type of returns, she became visibly irritated, rolled her eyes, sighed, and spoke to me in a dismissive tone. I remained polite throughout the interaction, but when I suggested that next time she could be a bit nicer, she simply looked away and said "next guest" while I was still standing there. I understand retail environments can be busy, but basic professionalism and respectful communication should still be expected. I HAVE notified UPS corporate about the incident and will also be reaching out to the store manager this week to discuss the interaction. I will not be returning to this UPS location and hope the management team can address this so future customers have a better experience. read more

Dropped off a phone for device trade-in a couple of months ago only for it to turn up as an empty-box/stolen situation. Reading a few other reviews from other customers about this location has confirmed my suspicions; I highly suspect that people at this location are stealing phones. Management (if you aren't in on it) please check your security cameras and vet your employees carefully and make sure you take swift disciplinary action if you find specific employees responsible for theft. I would never use this UPS location ever again to drop off for a device trade-in, and I would hesitate to use this location for any other shipping needs. I was there the same time as that Justine lady who left a review below, she was mad that they wouldn't tape her open box for her and were going to charge her $5 to do it and she made the biggest stink in front of 7 different customers and her own 2 kids, even yelling at the other employee who was helping someone else and blaming them for her failure to plan. Today when I was waiting in line the person before me was returning about 20 different items with separate QR codes, the employee a tall woman, dark skin with curly hair and a little overweight was complaining how much she hated working at this location. She was saying that Eastvale customers were the worst. For the five minutes that I waited in line she would not stop to complaint about customers. She made the lady that she was helping so uncomfortable and the other one she was helping as well. What ever happen to great customer service? This employee was just unpleasant the entire time! My question is if you hate Eastvale so much why do you continue to come work here. When my turn came, I was returning something and before I can say something she told me I needed to tape the box shut with tape. She went and called the next person making me so uncomfortable so I finally snapped and asked her to give me her bosses name along with hers. She refused to provide me that information and told me not to come back. With what rights can someone treat people with no respect thinking they are above all things. If management sees this post please take care of your employees and see what on earth is bothering them and why they have to take it out on customers. Review: UPS Store - Eastvale My recent visit to this UPS location was extremely disappointing. I came in to return a package and needed a tiny piece of tape. Brittany told me it would cost five dollars for a small strip, which already felt unreasonable. I went to my car, taped the package myself with white tape, and brought it back. She then told me the tape was the "wrong color," saying it with a smile that made it clear she wasn't interested in helping at all. Her attitude was nasty, dismissive, and unprofessional from start to finish. What makes this worse is that I've been to this same location before, and another employee had no problem giving me a small piece of tape without turning it into an issue. The contrast in customer service is huge. When I asked for her supervisor's name, she said "Rachel," but when I asked for a contact number, she claimed she didn't know. Another negative experience at this location, I can deal with poor or lack of professionalism but I can't deal with incompetency leading to a $125 charge. On 6/24 I dropped off a small cell phone sized package with a cell phone in it. I paid to have UPS give the package to USPS. I was told that USPS had already completed their pickup for the day and the package would be picked up the next day 6/25. I was given a receipt for the $3 I was charged as well as a drop off package receipt which shows the USPS tracking number they scanned. As of 7/12 I have been charged $125 for the phone because it was never returned. A UPS supervisor of customer service contacted the store and was told that the package was not found, and to contact USPS which I already had and there are no scans from USPS. Based on prior history with this location and the numerous negative reviews I have no reason to believe that the phone was given to USPS. I have sent an email to this location and I am waiting to hear back. I will follow up on this review. read more

Ok so I debated whether or not to update this review. My experience and interaction with the employee.... Was mixed. My biggest complaint was that the guy kept coughing without covering his mouth. He did look away, but still dude. Then he was ok when helping me with the return, but was kinda snarky a couple of times when I misunderstood what he meant. I was retuning a package and they wanted to charge $4 to tape the box. Then I said I'll tape the box in my car and comeback. I taped up the box with blue tape and with bad attitude the employee stated, she can't accept it because it's not clear tape. I got a mailbox here because I have always been able to trust this location. I come here to ship my packages, process my Amazon returns, and have my Verizon work phones and laptops sent to this location. Employees have always been so friendly, helpful, and also very patient (with me ) and all the customers. I do a lot of Amazon returns and notice that there are a lot of customers that forget to read the instructions for their Amazon returns..
