Easy and friendly convenient UPS store for shipping packages. I went there for an amazon drop off and the gentleman was very patient as I looked for how to get my return label. Himanshi was helpful, and provided great and courteous customer service. They greeted me when I entered and made me feel welcome and I didn't feel rushed or embarrassed not knowing what I was doing. I had a horrible experience here, especially a rude lady by the name "Shital". I had gone to drop off my amazon package and i had to print my label and tape it. She asked me to buy a new tape or get my own tape from home. They force you to spend another $5 to 10. Its a disgrace for a big brand like UPS. read more

This UPS store is near to our house. We have tried time and time to go in there and do business and each time the guy is rude, his prices are higher etc. Today my husband went in to return his brothers AT&T cable box. His brother had passed away a few weeks ago. We called AT&T to see what we are supposed to do they advised us to go to the UPS store it wouldn't cost us anything. So he went the guy tried to say that his AT &T machine was down and had been down for weeks. When my husband tried to ask why he then went off on my husband. My husband left and went to another UPS store. That store was fully aware of the Newark guy and that's sad. She also said that their AT&T machine is never down read more

Pros-lots of parking. They might not lose your package. Cons-Customer Service is lacking. Very apparent from the other reviews on Yelp here. Guy working the counter makes coming here an off-putting experience. 1st experience - Guy had me put my own package that I brought next to the door, what's the point of me bringing it to him then? 2nd experience - I said "thank you." This is my first 1 star review on yelp ever. If I have to give a star. The service guy over there has horrible customer service attitude ever. Never met a guy like that. He asked me to move boxes to his left side because it's convenient for him. Also then after all the scanning he told me one of the box is not properly taped. He will charge me 2 dollars for tape for me. I refused and I asked him to cancel this item. Then he ask me to move my boxes to a designated place near the door. I asked do I suppose to do so? He said yes you have to. There is no smile on his face whatsoever. I remember I was so welcome when I went to mountain view location or elsewhere. When I go to yelp to check this store. I have never seen a place had soo many bad reviews. I also don't know why he still in business. I have been this place quite a few times. Every single time you don't feel welcome there. Yes. Indian guy either doesn't like his job or just hates life. Not helpful at all. My tape finished while taping up a box and asked him to kindly tape it with two more swipes and he hesitantly did it while complaining just one swipe across is sufficient, when obviously the box lid was still half open and wouldn't make it to the destination. Then he pointed for me to drop the package in the front of the store (mind you my box is about 30lbs) and he just stood behind the counter with nothing else to do. Plus, $3 charge just to use the computer to print my mailing label from my flash drive. All UPS locations charge only $1 per page and don't charge for using the computer to access flash drives. I don't have very high expectations for customer service, but the Indian man who works at this shop has been rude to me every single time I have come in for a package drop off or print work. At the bare minimum, a "Hello" would be great, but this guy is so rude every time. He always speaks in such a condescending tone of voice, and says really snarkily "you don't know this?". Like the guy literally hates his job and life so much that he's just naturally rude to customers. It's also confusing why he stores the drop off packages right by the front of the door instead of behind the counter, where they could be possibly stolen. Is that not an issue for you UPS? I literally don't know if he's just really xenophobic, but to you sir, you live in the United States, and you're going to have to get used to it. A smile can go a long way man. read more
