    The reason I'm writing a review is because this store is completely gutted and remodeled, and under new management (see photos). This store has a positively bad reputation, and that is now unwarranted. It's definitely my preferred store. While I was here I saw the manager training new hires, and even explaining to them how he was rebuilding the store's reputation and required great customer service (but he was saying it nicely). I'm always in and out within 5 minutes. If you're unsure about this store based on past reviews, don't be. I actually LIKE coming here.

    Time

    On 7/1/2025, arrived in this place at 6:33 pm and there is still staff working in this store and said they are closed already and will not help me anymore. So I came in the next day hoping they will open on time since they closed the store on time yesterday. I guess not!!! Thank you for wasting peoples time

    Hurray, NEW MANAGEMENT:-) Gone are those two clowns with their demeaning dumb jokes and bad attitudes. Gone is the hassle of being over charged for items you can process cheaper at home. The two new gentleman running the store are AWESOME! What a change, what a pleasure! Everything processed quickly and easily, new self check kiosk is setup near the door. It's a pleasant experience. We used to travel 12 miles round trip to avoid the former cheese-bags. OMG, life's simple pleasures.

    Feels scammy... I went in to return a package from Chewy using a QR code. I asked them (older…read morecouple seemingly in their 70s or 80s) if they do QR code returns. The man said to "bring it and we'll try" so I brought my package in. They scan the code on my phone and it works, so they accept it. Then, the woman asks if I can give them $1 for the printing of the label. I thought she was joking because they both started laughing and it sounded like a request for a donation, not a fee, so I started laughing with them. But then they kept saying to give them a $1 because it cost them $80 to buy the scanner and also because they're a franchise and the franchise owner told them they have to charge customers to get their money back. Feels SUPER scammy. The scanner is a business expense and the fee wasn't listed anywhere. They kept insisting I pay them $1 saying "it's just $1" and "you can pay that." I don't know if this legal or not, but I felt VERY uncomfortable being coerced to pay for something that I didn't need to. The label was already on the box and $1 isn't much, so I didn't want to fuss about it. I also did not want them to not mail my package, so I did pay the $1 just to be done with it. However, I will NOT be coming back here as it seems they made me pay for something that I wasn't required to. After I walked out the door, I turned around and went back in and took a photo of the package with the label on it because I didn't want to take any chances with them possibly not returning my package and I heard the woman saying under her breath "stupid questions" and I'm pretty sure she was talking about me. Stay far away from this place.

The elderly gentleman was nice…read moreenough, but then made me pay $3 for copies of the form, even when I said it was unnecessary as my hiring contact never mentioned that and simply said to print and supply the owner with what they sent me. He kept on insisting that I needed to mail one copy and then keep one for my records. $3 down the drain for two very expensive pieces of recycled paper.

Their small storefront is conveniently located inside Seafood City Supermarket (look on your left, right passed the entry to Chowking). They have two counters. EXCHANGE RATE: 9.9/10. Yes, 9.9/10. They won't rip you off like Xoom does on the exchange rates. We have always gotten the best exchange rates here. They have a modest $8 to $10 transfer fee depending on the amount and bank where you are sending the money to. We always call ahead to check the rates before we drop by. PACKAGE ("BALIKBAYAN BOX") SERVICES: 9.9/10. Again, their services outshine their competitors by far! They offer package tracking services via an Apple/Andriod app and best of all they deliver to remote areas too (without charging astronomical fees!). Their delivery rates are far better than their competitors and delivery times are pretty accurate. For current rates, please call ahead. STORE HOURS: 8/10. They are open till 6 PM on weekdays and 5 PM on weekends. For latest store hours, please call ahead and check with them. Overall, we love their services and have never been dissatisfied!

    First of all, I am not a big fan of FedEx. Out of all the delivery services, I think that they are…read morethe worst. Most of my delivery experiences with them have been negative. I was expecting an E-bike delivery today at my house. I was waiting all morning for the FedEx delivery truck to swing by the house because the tracking information that I received said that my bike was going to be delivered today. The FedEx driver did eventually stop in front of my house around noon. To my disappointment, the delivery driver said that he did not have my bike on his truck. The delivery driver told me that he could not fit the bike in his truck with all his other packages to deliver. The FedEx delivery driver didn't hesitate to tell me that I could drop by the FedEx warehouse off of Central Ave to pick up my bike though. To me, that was another crappy experience with FedEx. Here I paid to have the bike delivered to my front door. Then the delivery driver doesn't apologize and encourages me to pick my bike up at their warehouse. Even though I was not happy with another bad experience with FedEx, I still wanted my new bike right away. In order to get the bike immediately, I suckered up and drove my truck to the FedEx warehouse in Newark. Fortunately, I had an idea of where the FedEx warehouse is located off of Central Ave because the FedEx driver could not provide an address for me. If you need to pick a package from this location, there is not a lobby/ store front that you can go into. You will need to buzz in and speak to a person through an intercom. From there you will need to provide your name and tracking number. I provided my telephone number too. Shortly thereafter, the person who I spoke to on the intercom called me back to update me on the status of my package that I was there to pick up. When the person comes out with your package, you'll need to provide your ID. Being that my E-bike was a higher priced item, I also had to sign that the bike had been picked up too. To sum things up, I was not completely happy with having to go to the FedEx warehouse to pick up my heavy E-bike when I paid to have it delivered to my house. Luckily I own a truck, for the box was big. The package was 80+ pounds. My experience picking up the package went smoothly. From the time I spoke to the person on the intercom to the time my bike was brought out, it could not have been more than 15 minutes. The parking was also good, so it wasn't like a bunch of cars crammed into tight spaces. Even though this FedEx experience started out bad, it all went great at the warehouse. That is why I am giving the warehouse four stars.

Nice try on the fake delivery slip and making it blurry like no one would notice. Why Best Buy uses your service for high priced items is beyond me.
