Ok I was at another place attempting to return an item those folks were so rude, and my brother told me to go to the UPS store across the street, I came here and I was greeted by Raj, very welcoming, and polite, told him I need to return this box and he said no problem he immediately started to tape my package and we even started to joke around very cool guy. As a business customer, I've been to many UPS stores. This one has got to be the worst customer service I've ever experienced. General rudeness aside, as another reviewer stated, the owner is completely clueless about customer service. In fact, when you go to this store, he expects you to serve him by holding up each package in front of him for him to scan it, then carry it to the spot he points to. He won't accommodate the flexibility for a business customer to simply drop off packages, as is allowed by every other UPS store as well as the post office. He wants you to wait in line over and over, so that it's most convenient for him to scan the packages that are brought up to him. Most businesses care about what the customers' needs are. What he cares about is what his needs are. I tried to work with this guy for a few weeks, but apparently he doesn't need the business. He will get his wish. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!! RIP OFF ALERT! I remember going to this store many years ago and the famous "guy with red dot" tried to scam me to buy packaging we did not need so that was it for me until now. We just needed to drop of a amazon package so I didnot think there would be any issue but I was wrong! The scam artist was at it still and tried his best that I buy the package from him even though Amazon doesn't require you to do that. I called amazon to cross check and they confirmed to packaging was not needed but stubborn man wouldn't let it go so we just went else where. Wow this is the worst establishment I've ever visited. The guy working there was the biggest asshole and most rude human being I've ever encountered. I walked in with a simple Amazon return all taped up and labeled. Just wanted a receipt and when I walked in the guy was at one register so I walked to the other (as typically they use one for scanning really fast for package check in) and he yelled at me "Read the sign" Which the sign said "LINE STARTS HERE" and it was very obnoxious and large. Customer service sucks! I've always used the UPS store near my house but I had to use this one cause it was near my work. I brought it in cause it was an amazon return and a label was already printed out. The guy didn't want to tape it up and wanted to charge $2 to tape it up. The person that works here is RUDE. Not professional at all. I felt like I was interrupting his day. I was returning my Amazon Order (not cheap) and per Amazon just give him the item and asked if he had a piece of Tape he told me point-blank, it's for sale, I asked him what his name was for my record of who I left my item with and he covered his name tag and said since he gave me a tracking number that I didn't need his name and that his name is "confidential". (His name is Patel) What kind of confidentiality it is when you have a name tag. All please avoid doing business at this location in Newark as we should not reward behavior such as this. It is obvious that the individuals writing a favorable review for this rude, insensitive, arrogant lowlife are his friends. Will never do business here again. read more

This is my local UPS store and come here whenever I have to ship anything. Himanshu provides excellent customer service and answer any and all questions I have. I'm usually in and out in under a minute, even when he's busy helping others (which is rare because he's so quick with customers), but it's because I have my packages boxed up already. He just scan the barcode on my phone and hands me a receipt and I'm off! Highly suggest this UPS if you need to send something quick! read more

the guy that works here is like the soup nazi. I come in with two separate amazon returns. One label is up on my phone and ready to scan and the next one takes 15 seconds to get to and he gets mad telling me to screen shot them before I come in. I say why. He tells me because wireless service is not good inside. My reception is perfect I tell him. He then tells me I waste peoples time. There's no else here! He gets madder and tells me if there were he'd make me go outside until my code was ready. LOL. seriously wow. This is my favorite place in Fremont when it comes to Notary services , domestic/International shipping copying and scanning - way better than going to any Fedex. The store manager Himanshu Patel is very friendly and helpful. I have known him for several years now. He manages the store by himself and have seen him efficiently handle massive workload in busy Christmas sessions. Can always depend on him for friendly suggestions on shipping options to get stuff to my shipping location in the most economical way. On a recent visit Himanshu helped me with notary services and shipping a large document set internationally - seen some drop off customers bully their way in despite others being in line - and being rude to him - but he still handled thing with poise. read more

I wish I had read the reviews... Came here to do an amazon return. I had the boxes and the labels. Every other UPS place takes the boxes, attaches the labels themselves, tapes the box up and thats it. Super easy. The guy here made me buy tape ($6) and told me to do the work myself. I tried my best, apparently did it wrong, and he made me do it again. After 3 attempts the guy finally started doing his job and packed them himself. He then angrily told me to "put them there!" on a huge pile of packages. The employees at this store are lazy, terrible people and I highly recommend you avoid this location. UPS should fire the whole staff and start over. read more

I have to deal with this location a lot and I feel like I'm walking on egg shells whenever I walk inside. All I'm doing is literally dropping off packages with labels already on. Even then, the dude working still finds ways to radiate his poor attitude and rudeness in the short window of time I'm even there. I have had to deal with people in jobs of mine too, and I have had my times where my attitude could have been better. However, Heeman takes it to a different level. Worst UPS store ever. 1. Everything is over priced. Albeit that should be expected when buying envelopes last minute but the guy kept trying to sell me products that I didn't need. 2. I ditto the review that say they try to rip you off for shipping. Tried charging me $30 for basic shipping to Europe that I usually pay $8 for through other Ups or regular post offices. This is the closest UPS station to my house, and after reading the yelp reviews, I was VERY hesitant to even come here. I figured, it doesn't hurt to drop by and get a shipping quote. The small box I had was a little heavy, so I was expecting around $15 charge to ship this. I walked in, the lady behind the counter greeted me, I asked for a shipping quote, she told me $36, I said no thanks and walked out and went to the US Post Office instead ($10.50 USPS Priority w/ tracking). I really don't know who's controlling the shipping charges there, but I have a feeling they're ripping people off BIG time! I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I drop off my packages here often, and I really like the prompt service. The location is good and there are plenty of parking spaces with couple assigned UPS parking spaces in front of the store. Moving out of town and was dreading the thought of dropping my equipment off at Comcast and Union City. I was told I could bring my equipment to this UPS store location. Despite some Comcast system issues the gentleman pushed through it as always and help me get my equipment turned in. I'm in here a few times a month dropping off packages for clients and am always greeted by Mr. Himanshu Patel. Anytime I have questions or need help with extra tape for a package or assistance with printing, he's very patient and helpful. When I go to other shipping stores, I usually feel rushed and the person helping me usually appears annoyed and ready to move on. This, to me, is understandable due to the high volume of people coming through with all their needs, issues, and requests. Customer service can be so stressful. None-the-less, when I come to this UPS store, Mr. Patel always maintains a calm and cheerful demeanor. Always. I don't go anywhere else anymore. He's my go-to guy for fast and professional service.
