Not a bad spot. I don't know it seems like it's always a hit or miss when I go here. Sometimes I'm the only one there and other times I have to wait 20 minutes for a drop off with a pre-paid label. I been going her since I moved to Newark and I usually see the owner and we have a good conversation. I been sending packages (the same size and weight ) from different UPS for Amari 3 years monthly and it's usually $18-$20 each package. This time I come in and the owner was not there. I usually send 2-3 packages of the same size and weight each time I drop off at UPS and ask for separate tracking number for each package. Never had an issue. This time the employee tells me that for me to have separate tracking umber it will cost more - your telling me it cost more for the computer to print out separate tracking number and so I said ok. Just give me one tracking them he says each package is $45 each even though I ask for the most affordable ground shopping. He tells me if At the cheapest. I took my business to Fremont UPS and a few minutes later I had my package shooed for $20 each. Beware. Looks like they want to charge the highest price possible for your shipping here even when your a loyal customer read more

This is a quick and convenient place to do your Amazon returns. When Raj joined the staff here, I actually found myself leaving with a smile. He has a great sense of humor and strives to bring positivity to this store. When you do Amazon reviews, keep in mind that some packages do need a box for the return. One of the employees helped me see the difference in the QR labels. One kind has a solid line on the left side and a solid line on the bottom of the QR code -- this kind does not need a box. The other kind of code does not have these lines (which form a sort of L-shaped border), and this is the one that will require a box for shipping. (See sample photos attached.) If I had read the Amazon directions carefully, I would have seen this information there, but I didn't think to read it since all my previous returns could be done without a box. Aside from Amazon returns, my husband and I have learned to do shipping, copies, faxes, etc. at other businesses due to high fees without any itemized receipt verifying the expenses. Mail N Services of Newark has had better rates for shipping based on our recent experience. Overall, I'd give this UPS Store a 4. For their different services, a 3. I had an emergency shipping need for my company on a Saturday. I needed to ship out a large amount of high value items. The manager helped me choose the best option taking into consideration overnight shipping, declared value, and total cost. The manager helped weight out the items, and was very patient with me while I had to track which items went into each shipment. I was able to take clear pictures of all shipping labels for each package. We were able to double box each package for added protection for the items. On the date of arrival, I received a call from the manager with confirmation that all packages had arrived on time without issue or damage. One of the employee joked around too much. There's time to be professional & when it was needed, it wasn't there. There's timing for everything if you want to joke around but not the whole time, this is not standup comedy & it was not funny at all. I paid a service to print out a label & so i handed my phone to him & he sent it to their email. He gave me my phone back & he asked me to come out for 2 minutes because of the cell service, & I did, even though I had FULL BAR (service) & LTE. I let a minute passed, I checked my email & saw it was "sent" & not on outbox!!! So I came in again & he immediately told me to go outside again while I explained that it's already sent & not even on the outbox. I was already annoyed at this point & the way he was trying to be right when I clearly verbally said it's already "sent" as he continues to boost his ego claiming to be on the right. Afterwards, he had the nerve to keep playing around asking me " for here or to go" laughs... "see I sent you out & it worked" laughs... & kept joking saying that I can't have the tape. I kinda ignored it & I asked for the tape again & just ignored me & I had to ask again & cut off a piece of tape trying to be a smart ass jokingly attempting to tape the bar code when I needed to tape the edge. I walked out very unsatisfied, drained & spent money just to expect disappointment. To the employee, you're lucky I'm not petty for me to mention your name because I do care for people's well-being but you need to do better. The worst UPS store 1)super slow, every time even with just 1-2 customers it's minimum 10 mins wait. The associate was watching a customer taping his box slowly in the back instead of helping another customer that's ready in line in parallel to keep the line moving. It was torture watching them both taping for full 5 mins standing in line with nothing happening in the store. 2) trash -they make you take all your packaging materials out yourself to throw out which other UPA store has never asked me to do before 3)poor circulations -stuffy and uncomfortable if it's a warm day and you have to expect to wait at min 10-15 mins for every simple return/drop off read more

I came here to return two items from Amazon which were boxed in their original packaging. Once i got up to the clerk he proceeds to tear open everything and actually asks me to help him empty all the contents in a bag because "its going to an auction anyway". This guy talks like i was supposed to know that like are you for real? When i returned Amazon returns at other UPS stores they never told me to do so and even then he said they probably did the same thing after i left. Himanshu is STILL the worst and rudest employee. I came in with multiple packages to return, and everything was organized and I just needed to pull up the label for him to scan. It took me 5 seconds to pull up the label on my phone because reception is spotty, and he tried to skip me to get to the rest of the line. I told him I had the label ready and he really just needed to finish my transactions first instead of skipping me. I'm sure the person behind me can wait 5 seconds! I had to tape up my last package, so I went to my car to get it ready and returned back to the store. He was so pushy to rush me through my initial returns, but when I came back in, he purposely took his sweet time with the 2 parties ahead of me. He had plenty of opportunities to scan my label to (and I quote his exact words with me) "get through the line because there's a lot of people" (as he was so persistent to do before), but no. I don't know how this guy is still employed here, but he is simply the worst, and I doubt that will ever change after all these other complaints people have made about him. read more

My husband was told to stand in line with 6 other customers even though our package had already been weighed and label paid for and printed online. But there's a spot that you can just leave your prepaid packages and not waste an employees time. I hope our package stays safe and gets shipped to our customer cause my Husband didn't stand in line and left it where prepaid packages were supposed to go. Employee was the same gentleman in the photos in other reviews. Edit: Dear business owner, you don't know how to run a business that is based on customer service. It's the way you speak to customers and how you say things to them that causes these horrendous reviews. Not what you say. I understand now the reason why you would prefer that we wait for a receipt, to protect yourself as well as ourselves from any issues in case the package goes missing. However, that's not how it was explained on this particular day and not in a professional tone either. Working in customer service isn't easy by any means and you deal with a lot. I visit this local UPS store because it's right down the street from our house. I've been very happy with how quickly the line moves, even though it can get quite long at times. Their computer could be faster and a little easier to use, but the customer service is solid. Raj at the front desk tries his best to put a smile on people's face.. because let's face it, sending out countless Amazon returns isn't the most fun thing to do, but they process things quickly. Bad vibe as I walked into the store. I knew something was not right. I had a 8 by 10 package size to ship to another state. He weighted on a different scale - not the standard weight scale. And said, it's 40 dollars. I looked at him and laughed, $40 dollars?! Are you kidding me? He just stood there with a blank stare and nodded. I grabbed my package and left the store. I drove to a local post office and guess how much I was charged for two days? 9 bucks! Wow. A huge difference. This is the second time I get treated like crap at this store. They're rude to people and they simply don't care about what the customer needs. The fist time I was there I greeted them and they responded with what do you need?! Today 12/12/22 I was there to ship a box to Florida. As I was waiting I couldn't help to notice that they were treating everyone else so rudely and disrespectfully. When I finally got my turn I told the lady that I wanted to ship a box to Florida and she responded by saying that it costed extra to send it overseas. I told her Tampa is part of the US. She took the box to the scale and came back with the cost, I had to decline because the charge was too high so IN ENGLISH I commented, that it is weird that this company is making me pay for shipping their product back to them and she responded: I DONT SPEAK SPANISH!! I have an accent but I was clearly speaking to her in English. I felt insulted and replied, what the heck?! So the guy next to her asked me what I wanted. I explained it to him and got out of the store. I'd rather drive a few extra miles to another UPS store than go to this poorly managed and poorly staffed store again. read more

The aggregated low reviews for this location say it all :) When I called Amazon from the store, they quickly and kindly solved the problem for me, which threw in sharp relief the rude and unkind service at this UPS location. Cash and card accepted. The UPS Store is located in a plaza and offers plaza parking. If I could give this place 0 or negative stars, I would. The man who was working here when I went in around 1pm on a weekday was the most unhelpful employee ever. There was no one else in the store but me and I had gone in to ask for help since I had a couple large boxes to ship (one was heavy and over 40 pounds). I'm pregnant and due in a couple weeks, and he could see I was pregnant because he looked at my belly when I asked for help, but he wouldn't help me. Instead he gave me a dolly and told me to bring the boxes in myself. I should've left then but was already there. I struggled with getting the boxes out of my car, onto the dolly, up the sidewalk ramp, and while trying to open the door myself while pushing the dolly and boxes through the door. The guy still didn't even help me and just watched me struggle. I then realized I had forgotten to tape the shipping labels on and asked for tape. I had to pay over $5 for a tiny roll of tape. After taping one of the labels onto the boxes the guy tells me he needs the labels to scan. I had to then move the box to him so he could scan the label. Luckily I didn't put the label on the heavy box yet and was able to just provide him with that label. He instructed me where to put the smaller of the two boxes after he scanned the labels. I struggled with the heavier, second box the most, and had a hard time getting it off the dolly. The guy still watched me and didn't provide help and just instructed me where I should put the box. There was still no one else in the store but me... I finally got it off the dolly, put the label on with the expensive tape, and moved the box to the other side of door where the guy instructed me to. Omg... Worst customer service and experience ever!!!! I will never go back here and won't give this place future business. read more
