This. is 5 stars service. These guys go out of their way to help. Always smiling, friendly, positive and the prices are as they should be. Seems to be a family place? It appears there is a father and son that work together ( pretty cute - they look a lot alike ) along with another woman that is usually there at the counter. I am usually in some obnoxious hurry or all over the place asking for help with something random and they always have the most economical solution. I never feel there is an up- sell. I will no longer patronize this business Due to the owners horrific ways!!!! I used there UPS service for several years Out of sheer convenience even though The owner MOE , "rubbed me the wrong way" On several occasions , in fact I dislike dealing with him To the point that I'd go out of my way to go There when he wasn't there!! If you read some other reviews you will hea Others encountered negative experiences with Moe , like myself . He has no people skills whatsoever , & my final Straw & determining factor which is why I chose To not ever give this place my business Was this past Spring when I had shipped Boxes from Chicago back home to Ca. Because this location was linked to my name Accidentally my boxes ended up here!! When I realized this after calling UPS 800# I became alarmed , called Moe to let him know I was on my way to pick the boxes up , well That's when the DRAMA began , he proceeded To BULLY me , insinuating that I was using His store as storage , I proceeded to his shop Only to be bullied some more , & told I would not Be able to retrieve my boxes , @ that point literally In a very angry upset toned demanded my boxes Be given to me , OR ELSE!!! I have been to this place twice, and the experiences from both visits were horrible. I am an easy-going guy who does not usually complain, but I've just had enough with this place. The associates treated me like I was a burden to them. Their attitude was very negligent and their responses were very minimal. Looking at the positive reviews makes me suspect that this might be a racial issue, but I am very sure that I am never going back to this place. Besides, their rates are really high compared to USPS priority service anyway, and you would have much better customer service experience at the USPS office. read more

The service varies from good (blonde woman) to awful (Male manager). He is rude and asks dumb questions. He has to have the last word. Doesn't make sense. never again will I use this place and to find out the owner himself is why I came to this conclusuion! I went to ship a package for my son who is stationed in fort lewis being how excited I was to be sending my son (proud army dad) a book I grabbed some tape that's was on the counter just simple tape to close the box he literary yelled at me for using the tape. I was shocked I was really speechless that a owner would yell at a paying customer its not like I was taking the tape same tape that was going to be used on that package anyhow . The service sucks. Every time you walk in they are all In The back. Over charge you for stamps, shipping and the mail drop is not safe . I had mail sent from here and never got to its destination . BE FAIR WARNED ABOUT THEIR MAIL DROP , it is not safe and your mail might not get there. This UPS store sucks dick. read more

Convenient location, lots of parking, helpful and friendly employees. What more do you need in a UPS Store?

I went there for passport photos. The man taking my picture was very professional. He let me retake it when I didn't like the first picture. The woman at the register was very helpful. She answered all my questions about how to fill out the application correctly. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

This place is open fairly late on Saturday -- which allowed us to get our business done. They were very friendly, experienced and fast.

The store staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem Is when you start using the printer or scanner to print or scan papers. I had like 20 copies and scans combined and bill was almost $20. That's pretty pricey. I would recommend staples if your on a budget. They have scanned and printed out things for me for free. read more

Been in here a few times to get thing notarized and get some packaging materials. Employees seem cool. But I did notice they are a little pricey when it come to shipping packages. $15.00 more for the same service the post office would charge. Would have gave it 5 stars if they were cheaper. read more

Terrible services! My sister and I ordered prints which they totally botched...twice! The manager refused to give my sister a refund but offered to try and reprint the job if we paid for it again. Staff is rude and stupid. The girl who works there was nice. I wanted to pick up my package which was delivered there because I was not home. I brought 2 id's, one with my name which was still current but expires in 2 mths and has my old address and the other was my new temporary license which I got 2 wks ago with my new address which matched that on package including my name. They said it was not enough and was rude about it. They looked stupid when I showed them my tracking no on my iphone. I have been coming to this location for a few yrs. Owner is annoying and will ask you a million personal questions for a personal $10 transaction to notarize a document which he never appears to be happy to do.Hope they learn to stay out of people's businesses and try to apply some basic common sense and better customer service. read more

This place is a rip off! Way to expensive. Same servise at the post office for 40% cheaper. 2 1/2 lb packageto Iowa for $27 dollars. Been with them when they were MBE; and then they became The UPS Store. That's roughly 15 years! My experience with them is with mail, shipping and notary. Always and I mean always, great service! They are very knowledgable and up to date in the areas I just mentioned. read more

This is the worst possible choice for retail packing, shipping and postal services on the entire planet. The owner is stingy and incompetent, which is an unacceptable and dangerous combination. I used to purchase two day UPS shipping here about twice a month for the better part of two years, until one fateful afternoon. The employees had provided me with a courtesy plain white envelope in the past, but when the owner found out he insisted on charging me a punitive and ridiculous amount. I was three pennies short on the new total with envelope included, and he insisted I go to my car to get the three cents. The guy is a stooge. I had been spending about $25 a month there, and he lost my business forever over 3 cents. Be aware that he is a professional cheapskate, and he does not care for his customers. I would rather stand in line for a week at a post office without air-conditioning than pay his outrageous prices and endure his intolerable service. Also, he charges $1 for 44 cent stamps. Eventually his surly demeanor and hatred for customers will catch up with him and his franchise will be taken over by an angry komodo dragon, who would provide infinitely better service than the tyrant of the UPS Store on Balboa and Nordoff. read more
