However using the Pflugerville Pecan St location will result in some rude treatment from the owner. She and I had an unpleasant conversation about the fact that since I wasn't her "customer", she was entitled to charge me a pickup fee. According to her I had no business in using her store as a pickup location. She mentioned charging me a fee. I happen to know the regulations about shipping and calmly explained that she had no right to limit pickups in the UPS system. She became increasingly rude and angry but finally released the package. She really wanted to be angry and didn't expect dealing with someone knowledgeable about the regulations related to interstate commerce. The regular employees are fine, no issues. However this woman has ensured that that store will not see any of my UPS business that will generate revenue for her.

Previously, I had been at another UPS store on Riverside and I had difficulty with their machine and nobody wanted to help me. Instead they told me to leave and come back another day. It was disappointing because I was getting fingerprinted for a job and needed it to get done soon. When I walked I was welcomed by Cameron and very nice young man. I told him that we needed this package overnighted with a signature guaranty by close of business tomorrow. I had already checked the rates and was pleasantly surprised when the actual price was almost $20 cheaper than was I saw online. It is not as cheap as it used to be for overnight (I remember when it was under $20.00) but I loved that I was able to save $20.00 anyway.
