I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store and would not recommend it. I went in to ship a bridesmaid gift that I had previously shipped from another UPS Store without any issues. The employee (who I later found out was the owner) told me I needed a larger box and additional bubble wrap but never discussed the cost before repacking my package. I figured if it was too much I could go home and get another box and come back. When I got to checkout, my total was around $75. I expected the shipping to California to cost more, but I was shocked by the price of the packing materials, especially since none of those charges had been disclosed beforehand. When I mentioned that another UPS Store had only charged me $2 for bubble wrap, the owner responded that the other store "must not be doing well." At that point, I decided to cancel the shipment and take my package elsewhere. I understood paying for the bubble wrap that had already been cut, but then I was charged a $15 service fee that had never been mentioned and was not on my original transaction. I was told that fee would only be removed if I shipped through their store. I felt like I was backed into a corner because I had already incurred enough charges that going elsewhere no longer made financial sense. I felt pressured into completing a transaction after undisclosed charges had already been added. Unfortunately, the person handling the situation was the owner, so there was no one else to speak with. This experience left me feeling misled and disappointed. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this location to anyone who values honesty, transparency, and good customer service. read more

This UPS #7608 store at 8408 Preston Road Ste 330, Plano, TX (near 121 and Preston Road) is fantastic!! I needed to send an oversized piano keyboard (39.6 * 17 *6) to San Diego. This was the only store that had oversized boxes. Sawtantar was so friendly while she carefully wrapped the oversized piano keyboard. This has to be one of the best UPS stores out there that i've ever been to. The team, it's always been the same two people there i'm thinking they are the owners but not sure, are always so friendly and kind. They strike a conversation with me and make me feel welcomed. I really appreciate not feeling tension between the workers and me for returning 3-4 items at the same time. They both have helped me out and even printed out UPS labels for free (unlike others). I just moved into my new place so i've bought a bunch of things and also a lot of returns along the way. I'll keep coming back to give them my business because they are the absolute best! read more

I've been here twice in the last week. Once to shred 25 lbs of various statements and such I've hoarded over the years. I didn't catch the name of the gentleman that helped me but he understood why I wanted to file the documents myself (old tax stuff and what have you) but kindly offered to help me given the amount I had so he pulled the shred bin all the way to the front so he could still help me. My second time was today, I needed to print out my lease documents for my records and the woman and young man in the store were very helpful and personable. This is definitely my go to spot for all things printing, shredding and shipping now. read more

This location is 1 of the few, if not only, UPS stores opened on Sunday. That was a huge bonus for me since I wanted to return an Amazon package before the work week started. The folks running this location are awesome as well. They were very kind, efficient, and obviously care about their store based on how clean it was and how great it smelled.
