The owner yelled at my assistant when I sent her there with my key to check my mail. He claimed that she didn't have the right key & he thought she was trying to break-in to the mailbox -- in the middle of the day in front of all of the other customers! Customer service at this location is extremely poor. Either the staff is grumpy most of the time or as in my most recent case they said they can do a simple label printing job and didn't follow through. I had to call THEM and find out what was going on at which point they told me it would take 6 days to print labels. Really?!! Six days to print labels off an excel spreadsheet; or was it just that you didn't want to do it?? Never again to this location! read more

The proprietor (Ron) is helpful and friendly. You can tell he has a dog in the race because he bends over backwards to help. His employees- not quite as even. Some are good, some you can tell are just waiting until quitting time. These guys did some specialty work for us- stuff that we could not do at our home office and we went away happy. Their service is a little BETTER than FedEx-Kinkos. (Actually, Kinkos was a decent chain before it got swallowed by FedEx.) So, I think the Bottom Line is a solid 4 Stars (so long as you deal with the owner). Having read Mike L's review (1 Star below)- I can see this happening at a little store. If that had happened to me, I would have written the same review and blasted them too. I guess it just depends. But anyway, for now and barring any future bad experiences, I think Ron gets a 4 out of 5 review. Edit: PS, I should have mentioned that parking is a bear around Christmas time, and so-so the rest of the time- not that it is anything that the owner could help. read more

I've only been to this store one time, to drop off a prepaid package which didn't require any other service, but they were fast, courteous, and friendly. Got a receipt without asking, in and out in about 30 seconds. Parking behind the store is convenient, as well as the location. I was late getting home due to traffic and i called the ups store closest to my house. no answer. I called the next closest and i get an answer. the gentlemen tells me while they closed at 7pm, he would be more than happy to help me and to just come down and bang on he door. i was blown away by the excellent customer service so i will be doing all of my shipping here now even though it is a few miles further for me to drive. thanks for going the extra mile! you earned a customer for life! read more

I just came in to drop off a small package to be sent through USPS, which I've done many times before at a UPS Store, including this one. I asked to drop it off, and the employee at the counter first told me I had to wait so they could give me a receipt. I said it's just mail, but they said they can't accept it without giving me a receipt.... never heard of that before, but ok I guess. After I waited a few minutes, they then looked at my package, and told me they wouldn't accept it and said I needed to go to the post office... I am baffled. I said up front that it was mail, and they didn't listen to me and made me wait, just to tell me they can't help me. And since when does the UPS Store not take mail?? I guess I just won't be coming back here again, for any services. read more

I went into the UPS Store yesterday morning with a rush order for some business cards for a very important meeting. My graphics designer didn't send me the right jpeg but Ron was able to take an image that I had on my laptop and performed some magic. The male notary was not useful to me at all. He spent tons of time trying to figure out what to do with my paperwork and then he crossed out wording and wrote other words on my documents. My attorney drew up the papers and I told the notary that so what he thought he was doing I don't know. The worst thing is that I didn't notice until I got home. What a waste of money. read more

Ridiculously overpriced scam artists. I went in to ship a package to Washington and was told that my total for ground shipping plus packaging was over $70. In shock I canceled the shipping and paid for the packaging only knowing that I could ship for much cheaper through FedEx, which I did. I was shipping an Xbox 360 in it's original box if you know the size, not big or heavy, box and packaging material came to 13.2 lbs when weighed at FedEx. They packed it at the UPS store for me for a fee of $19.64 which included the box, bubble wrap, popcorn, and a packing service fee I was not even informed of at the start. I asked about this price from UPS when I later went to FedEx and the lady actually laughed. My major problem with everything is obviously their insanely high prices, not informing customers of extra charges, and the fact that I was charged for 4 cubic feet of popcorn, now follow me on this, my receipt shows a box 20x20x12 but it was actually 24x18x12 which is 3 cubic feet if you do the math. So, my question to anyone reading this is how exactly do you fit and Xbox box with "5" feet of bubble wrap around it in a 3 square foot box and then manage to somehow fit 4 square feet of popcorn in it. With my math I can't figure out how to fit 4 square feet of anything in a 3 square foot box let alone cram anything else in. This place is a rip off and I will never be back and suggest that others stay clear unless you like being worked out of your hard earned money. read more

I visited this store a few times from 2012-2017. Back then it was luck of the draw if I encountered a decent worker. They were mostly staffed with rude workers who didn't give a damn. That was clear in their horrible attitudes and lack of poker face. It's a customer service job, buddy. Fake it if you hate it or find a job where you can work in a cubicle with no human interaction. I gave this store another go in 2018 and wow, they changed the entire staff! Now, they actually have workers who say hello, are attentive, and actually,​ care and do their job! I even came by to print off their computer this year and they were more than helpful and caring. Thank you! Thank you! I'm a repeat customer now and this is my UPS store of preference even though there are many around my neighborhood to pick from. Keep up the great work! This was the absolute worst UPS store I have ever been in! Nobody greeted or acknowledged me when I entered. They had no idea who to help as people were coming in because they are so disorganized! God bless Liz, a sweet lady who was working 7/5/16 as I came in holding a crying baby and pushing a stroller filled with packages i had to return to Amazon. She helped me unload the stroller, then offered to help me with the remainder of the packages i had in my car. She told me to stay at the car and pack up and she would meet me back at the store with my receipt. Before I made it halfway back to the store, she met me on the sidewalk, with my receipt and the bags I had used to carry the packages in. I stopped by this conveniently located store to drop off a package that had the label applied and it was ready to go. Simple! During these uncertain times, no one acknowledged my entrance into the store and I waited about 5 minutes until a manager came out but she was on the phone and said someone would be out to help me. I showed her the package was ready to go and she couldn't be bothered. After a few more minutes, someone came out to take the package and gave me a receipt. This type of uncaring service happened to me twice. My spouse encountered the same uncaring treatment. Again, during these uncertain times, please do not make someone wait inside a store with a mask on and ignore them! Plus none of the employees wore their masks while inside this store. I want to support a local business, but I was really irritated by this lack of customer service. Next time I'll go to the UPS location at Lunardi's in Walnut Creek to drop off a package or ask for any services. read more

Every time I go here there is an issue. The 2 guys are rude unless u know them but straight up rude. I went there for a notary I was told she had the day off....On a friday. Any other place would replace her for the day so people like me..who go out of thier way to go here would not be sent away with a rude..She has the day off...No telling where else to go or a sorry miss. I just came from this store and i don't normally rate a business with 1 star unless they're really shitty and this UPS store really is shitty.. I came to get notarization done. All the documenta are there and this employee have the guts to say "for your protection and my protection, i need to review the other pages. I do follow the law". What the fuck.. Clearly he doesn't know what notary law is.. Fortunately I'm a notary my self and this is the reason I'm writing this review. I can't notarized my own parents signature when I'm involve in the transaction of the documents they are signing. I'll drive MILES to ship a pkg from Ron's UPS store @ 25 Crescent Drive, PH!! I shipped a VERY-well-bubble-wrapped pkg, before Christmas, but the special mug arrived broken ;o( On notifying Ron, he offered to PAY OUT OF POCKET if UPS did not honor my claim. THEN he reviewed the pix of the broken mug, found name of designer in the shards, Googled it and found not only the mug but a SET w/ mug, coaster and canister, AND ordered and shipped all that to my sister for her birthday...and of course at no cost to me. I sent a future employee to this store to get Live Scan fingerprinted. The first failed attempt took a week to get and it was because the UPS employee did not enter an address into the system when doing the fingerprints. The 2nd time around was rejected by the DOJ because the UPS manager entered the date of birth incorrectly. We understand that sometimes crazy things happen, so my future employee (future because she cannot work until we get the livescan results) went back one last time on June 22. ANOTHER store manager did the livescan this day. It is July 6 & we have not received any information from the DOJ. This woman has been waiting for a month to start working and has not been able to because of the negligence of this company. This has now become a financial burden to her. She is a college student and was depending on this summer job to earn extra money for fall. It has also caused a significant strain on the other employees at our place of employment because we are in desperate need of the additional help. I usually keep my opinions to myself. But I do not want any other person to have to go through the same stuff that this poor girl is going through. Someone needs to seriously train all the staff that are doing the livescan fingerprints here. Even the managers fouled up 2 of the 3 scans! read more

I needed to mail a large envelope and was told it would be roughly $3.50 for US postage, HOWEVER, it would take 7-10 days (seemed like a mistake, but he insisted it was true). The only option was to pay them over $9.00 to "go by ground" in 2-3 days. This was hard to believe, so I went across the street to the US Postal service at Staples and mailed it for $2.35 and 2 day delivery! The price difference was shocking. It is unacceptable to treat customers in this manner. And rude to my wife as well. I spent $123 for notary services and still can't believe I had to pay for that experience.
