8/24/23 - I had an Amazon return to drop off and I was in the Prosper area for an appointment, so I dropped it off around 11:00 am after I finished my errand. A nice young man accepted my return (a pkg of 2 phone chargers and cables) that I still had in the original product package and also the outer envelope it came in. He asked if I wanted the receipt- Of Course I do! Note to other customers dropping off an Amazon return - ALWAYS get the receipt that proves you dropped off the item. I usually am notified by text and email a few hours later that my return is underway and the credit will be back to my Amazon account shortly. I noticed that I didn't see anything later that day or the following day,.... When I checked the return status, it said that I would be issued a credit after the item was received back at Amazon. Ok, it's only for $17.45 so I waited. I checked and it showed that Amazon did receive the return but still no credit was issued. Finally 2 weeks after I sent it back, I contacted Amazon to talk to customer service. I wanted to know if it was Amazon or UPS causing the delay. I was assured that the delay for receiving the credit was on Amazon's end, not UPS. Later that evening the credit was finally issued to my account. I've been in several times and staff consistently has an attitude, acting as if they are being inconvenienced to assist. Today, I sent an autistic young man in with a small box of returns (8). Each item had a picture of the item on the box, an item description, or both. The young man was armed with a printout for each item that had the item info and a vivid color picture of the item on it. He exited the store with box in hand saying they were very rude and he didn't understand what the issue was. He said they were mad at him, so he left. This young man is not easily flustered. I had to go in and handle the return because, as they told me, "it is not our job to match the scan paper with the item". Seriously, you couldn't help an individual with a disability navigate with what is a very simple task for most of us and quite literally falls within your expertise? Of the three items they did take back, one was done incorrectly. Do your job correctly please, drop the bad attitude and let's try not to discriminate in the future. I'll happily be driving further for quality customer service next time. read more

Very expensive and not competitive rates. It cost me $38.00 to ship an UPS envelope (8.5 x 11in) filled with papers from Prosper, TX to Houston, TX (2 day delivery). Fedex charged $10 flat fee for the same . read more

Today is the last time I will go to this particular store. I walked in, was told it would be a minute. She didn't even look up. I waited. I was the only customer in the store just dropping off a box. She told me "next time I can just go to the kiosk and scan it myself". That's great customer service!! There won't be a next time. read more

I love this location and was shocked at the average 2-1/2 star reviews. Each time I walked into this store I was pleasantly greeted. The staff has helped me with simple taping, providing a pouch and always asking me if I need a receipt. I have been to MANY UPS store locations and love this store. I appreciate all your staff does to assist me! Please keep up the great work! read more

This location is not helpful. Tried to send envelope by usps and young gentleman said it had to be sent priority. I do this every week and usually costs 7.50. He said it would be $20. The other UPS stores in the area are a lot friendlier and much more helpful. read more

I was charged for something today that I've never been charged for before, and when I asked about it, the cashier (Danial) changed his original reason for charging me. Very shady. Apparently, if you are making an Amazon return in its original packaging at this location, you will be charged a $4 fee to tape the package shut. Originally, he said he was charging to tape the box because it "was a customer-packed" box; however, once I explained that it was in the original Amazon packaging, he changed the reason to, "it's because of the size". I will stick with the Frisco location from now on. As a small- business owner (Ameri-CANZ.com) I do a lot of shipping, but I will take the time to visit the Frisco location instead. Be sure to ask upfront if there are any hidden charges or fees if you use this location. read more

First time at this location. I walked in, there is someone ahead of me in line, 2 people being helped at the counter. One person is finished, the employee calls to the next in line. The woman ahead of me walks over, her stuff is scanned, and she gets a receipt and leaves. I hear the employee again say she can help the next person in line, which is me. I walk over to her, she tells me to wait a minute. The items from the previous person are still unbagged/unboxed, and lying on the scale. The employee starts walking around and talking with other employees. Meantime, another customer comes in, a third employee goes to a third register and asks that new customer to come to their register. He completes the transaction. The customer leaves. I ask him if he can help me, he says yes. He starts picking up the return items that need to be boxed and I said they weren't mine. He looks confused. The girl who called me over in the first place is still walking around and talking to other employees. She has basically abandoned her register and me at this point. I go back to standing in line behind the customer who's been there this whole time, she's trying to find a credit card to pay for her transaction. The male employee calls to me that he can help me now, as he has cleared off the scale, which had all the items on it that weren't mine. He did apologize, and to his credit, he did help me with my transaction, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. I felt very invisible. Especially to the original woman who called out "I can help the next in line". She didn't help me. And the other employee obviously didn't notice I hadn't been helped, as he went on to the next in line. For 5 minutes, I was standing at a register I was called over to, only to be left there, watching the next customer in line BEHIND ME being helped AT A NEWLY OPENED REGISTER, until I said something to someone else. I was on my way to drop off a package when I got stopped by a train. I wasn't going to make the 7 PM closing, however Justin said he would wait for me to get there! I arrived at 7:01 and my transaction was finished by 7:03. Even though it was only 3 minutes, most people would have said "Sorry- we're Closed." Christian was awesome and very customer oriented. NEVER been treated so rudely before by such a condescending assistant manager. Their assistant manager told me to contact Amazon which is impossible after this store failed to send my Amazon return correctly and it showed up to my house a week after I dropped it off at this store to return. Buyer beware, now 2 of my Amazon shipments I've dropped off here have gotten lost and she said it was my fault but really the front desk didn't mark my rug correctly. They also tried to tell me the reason it didn't get shipped is because it didn't fit in the box behind the counter, which doesn't make sense because one of the rugs did in fact make it back to the warehouse. I've made probably 30+ returns here so I know how to return Amazon packages but she proceeded to tell me that I'm an idiot because I didn't put them in a box together. I've ALWAYS packaged the items according to how I received them from Amazon so that also doesn't make sense. She told me it was "pretty self explanatory" and proceeded to tell me the front desk doesn't see my code. They have to scan the code themselves every time to return so riddle me that Batman...she shouldn't be is customer service whatsoever regardless of who's at fault. Horrible experience. I have been coming to the UPS Store in Prosper, I think it's store 6736 and have always loved how everyone treats me. I was in again today and there was an older lady with short gray hair (I've never seen her before) taking things off the counters, yelling at the employees, and I can only assume she is upper management but can't be sure. It was very uncomfortable and completely disrespectful to everyone in the store. read more
