An employee in a cap went out of his way to talk down to me for no reason. I walked in to ask for simple directions, and this man working there (not the person I asked) talked over the customers he was helping to interject into my conversation of which he had no context. I asked for knowledge about a location (I was working my job as a delivery driver and found my way in the same complex as this UPS store) and this guy in the cap just shouts his way from across the room (once again, over people in front of him) that they "aren't allowed to give out customers personal information".... ? Absolutely inappropriate and rude. Impolite tone as well. You've got people in front of you, have no knowledge of my conversation (he overheard the unit # I was asking for and evidently made the assumption that I was trying to get into somebody's PO Box) and dissed the worker I was asking by usurping his position as well. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes today! I had a box to return to Amazon and was assisted by a nice gentleman who scanned it and handed me a drop-off receipt. It actually took me more time to get back into my car and drive out of the parking lot. I have been coming to this location for many, many years and always appreciated how nice the staff was. On a return a couple months ago I have never been treated so poorly and rudely, the gentleman was so mean and condescending to me, I have never experienced this type of customer service, talking to fellow employees about personal things and telling me he can talk to fellow employees while helping others. Then talking to me sarcastically and swearing at me was unbelievable. I recently went back to give the store a second chance and the same gentleman was there and I said I would like to be helped by someone else, he loudly told all the other employees that "this is that lady from before" so when I went to a girl to help me she was laughing and rude herself and she swore at me as well. I have never seen such horrible customer service also with such disrespect for a customer. I hope managment has cameras in their stores and can see how customers are treated. I even brought a usps package that was too big (I didn't know they had a size limit) and he took it and just let me know next time they couldn't since it was too big. This is specifically for the Caucasian bald man helping me out. The register was under "Ian". Not sure if that's his name. Anyways, he is so freakin rude! First the lady in front of me asks her if they were busy all day. He shrugged and told her "i don't care anymore. I don't know why it's so busy it's just a Monday." Then it was my turn. I tried helping him since he was upset about his busy JOB by putting the items one after another on the scale after he scanned and instead he gets angry "I'll take them off when I'm ready" well then put it on yourself too. If not just FYI: they stop doing notary services 1 hour before closing time (this isn't posted anywhere that I've seen) and they close down their systems 15/10 minutes prior to closing so they will not take any shipments or new orders after that time - so create a label before dropping off. read more

This place is horrible. My poor elderly mom is getting the run around from EDD during this pandemic, she had to fax in some paperwork in order to get her payments (she hasn't had a payment in 5 months). She had 40 pages to fax and came in 10 minutes before closing. The guy got half way through the fax and stopped MIDWAY to tell her that he had to close the store! WHY wouldn't they tell her before hand that he wasn't going to be able to finish? The Caucasian white woman working made her pay for an incomplete job which she's going to have to resend tomorrow! How rude can you be? Her lack of concern is a horrible representation of UPS and I certainly will be avoiding them from now on. It's her livelihood, they couldn't just finish the damn fax? This little location is located on Artesia right next to Thai to go (which by the way is awesome to go Thai). The parking lot is small so you might have issues with parking but as for us we got a spot. I came in to return my amazon purchase that had a defect but didn't have my label printed out. I explained to the employee that my printer went out and she told me just to email it to her. She printed it on the spot slapped it on and we were out in 10 minutes. I can't believe how fast we were out of there! The ladies are super nice and helpful. I recommend everyone in the Southbay to head there for your shipping needs. read more

I love the fact that the workers knows what they're doing. Even better when there's a really long line and everyone is practicing social distancing. The store isn't big at all. Super small. But don't let the small store fool you. The workers there knows what they're doing. I had to return a portable JBL Boombox but I didn't have its original box. The worker, was so kind to inform me that they can pack it and wrap it up for me. They have the supplies at the store for you to buy. Very convenient. The UPS Store located next to the Carl's Jr and Thai restaurant on Artesia, across the street from Albertson's is a very convenient location. They have an ample sized parking lot. I went here to use their NOTARY service. It's $10 (per signature) to get anything NOTARIZED. The process is easy, but you need to, of course bring photo ID. They check your ID, get your thumb print for their registry, have you sign the document, put their official seal and provide you with the proper paperwork. It's fast and easy. I believe they have multiple NOTARIES on staff as well. If you're concerned, feel free to call ahead of time at 310-318-3000 to ensure they have a Notary on staff during their operating hours of Mon-Fri 8:30am to 7pm and Sat 9am to 5pm. I'll just start by saying I do not like to leave negative reviews about a business. I am a business owner myself and great customer service and reviews are extremely important to my business. It just so happens, I refer several people per week to have a document notarized. That ends today. I have never had great customer service at this location, people are not friendly, but that is not why I am giving a negative review. I am giving a negative review because the woman with the dark hair and dark glasses is downright rude. And the amazing part is she doesn't even care, which tells me whoever the person is that owns this business, does not value great customer service. Service is swift...I print my labels at home so I can easily drop my packages and leave, I don't even bother with a receipt. I've never had a problem...and I've visited this location for at least 5 years. Parking can be crowded, especially at the 5pm hour, but be patient, the wait time is usually brief. What an amazing experience. I needed to ship 3 large heavy boxes internationally because I'm moving. I packed the boxes and brought them in. Austin started the process and gave me a quote on the first box of approximately $150. He also told me I needed an itemized list of everything in the boxes for customs. I told him it would probably take a while to type it up since they were large boxes. He was very patient and didn't mind doing it for me. I asked if it could be done online to help save time. He recommended it since online prices are usually a little cheaper. He wasn't kidding! I went home and completed the process online. The total for 3 boxes was less than the one box would've cost in the store. I went back in with labels and customs forms and Austin helped put everything together. This used to be my "go to" store for faxing and offices needs. Not ever again. On Saturday 3/20/21, I went in to fax a batch of important paperwork. The young man helping me was very nice. I didn't know the store closed at 5pm.on Saturdays; I guess I'd only been there during the week on my other visits and they close later. First problem: no.on says to, me " hey we're closing soon so you.may want to come back tomorrow as faxes take time to go through. Had that been voiced, I definitely would have taken my stuff and left. Second problem: our fax machine can only fax 9 pages at a time....but that was told to.me after they already started faxing 9 pages. Third problem: the woman who worked there tells me they are closing AFTER the young man is already in the middle of faxing my paperwork...she shuts the fax machine off. They hand me my paperwork, all messed up in different order( there were 75 pages) ! AND AND I GET CHARGED FOR AN INCOMPLETE JOB. I won't be going back there EVER. Went to Office Depot today..completed a completely new fax with help from a conscientious employee and a conscientious manager. And it was cheaper. Thanks Office Depot! read more

What can I say nice about this store? Nothing ! The employee look like they don't want to be there, especially the notary he has a chip on his shoulder .I have worked customer service over 30 years and love what I do! They say if you love what you do, it's not a job, and you always look forward to going to your career you enjoy. Not only did my friend say thank you twice, but he didn't respond to her she finally went stopped in front of him and said, "Thank you he copped an attitude and said thanks . He was rude and unprofessional, and they had none of the documents that needed to do notary ! I had to look everything up and email them pretty much doing his job . I forgot to mention he went to the back, not telling us he's going on his 15 minutes at all. Man, if he's doesn't like what he's doing, please find someone who will take his job.
